About: I have often fostered rescue pups through OTAT PDX, and have taken care of many friends' pets. Different breeds and personalities. They love romping in my yard, and I can also take reactive pups to Sniffspots if they can't do walks or a park. I love all animals and would love to hang out with your fur buddy. I work from home and able to go outside fairly frequently for walks or playtime in the yard. If I need to leave the pup at home for a bit, I usually put on some music or nature sounds and give them a high value treat when I leave...and lots of attention when I return. I have a fenced yard and no other pets or humans in the home (it's just me!). My home is generally pretty quiet and chill. Love taking dogs out for exercise and enrichment multiple times a day as needed.
“Raphael took excellent care of Cherry while I was out of town and was very flexible with last minute requests. Thank you so much for keeping her comfortable and happy!”

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!
“Ann is a senior cat whisperer!! She took wonderful care of our two senior cats who have many medication needs and eating trickiness. She sent daily updates with pictures and text to let us know how things were going. We felt lucky to have her help and would definitely ask her to watch them again. Thanks ann!!”

“ChristyLynn was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request. She was great with the dogs, they sense right away if someone is a dog person and she definitely is. She asked if it was ok for her girls to come for an evening visit and the dogs loved that. Great communication and appreciated the pics. Will definitely use her again.”

“Raven took it slow with Molly on her first visit, gave Molly time to smell things out and wander around the house with her there. Within a short period of time, Molly was all kisses and cuddles with Raven, even got her out for a walk on the first visit. Raven is so patient and calm with hesitant/nervous dogs. She's a bit of a dog whisperer. Molly loves you Raven, looking forward to the next visit 😍”

“Thank you so much! Sorry I was MIA, no service in the mountains, normally I communicate better. The boys were very happy to have their snacks and a clean box, I had a great time away because I knew they were well cared for.”

About: I love all dogs like they are part of my family and treat them as such under my care. I have experience with all ages (including puppies and seniors) and many temperaments. I will meet your pup where they are at and make them as comfy as possible during their stay. I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet entrusted to my care is treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own. I would be honored to spoil your pup (with what you and your fur baby are comfortable with). I have experience caring for many different sizes, temperaments, personalities, limitations, and quirks that dogs come with.
“Kay kept our cat well taken care of. She took care of us, too! I hadn't booked the number of days we were going to be away. When Kay realized this she let me know! I am very grateful she caught my mistake. Our cat was happy with food, water, and good attention when we returned home.”

About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
“Camille and Shayla were amazing with my cat, and are very lovely people. My cat is very shy towards new people, and they respected his boundaries. He came out of his shell after a few days of them stopping by. I appreciated their detailed reports.”

“Gera was great! My orange son was in good hands. Did a much better job than I did of making sure they had all the right info on how to best take care of him and the daily updates and photos were a great reassurance. Would book again”

About: What sets me apart is that I don't just enjoy being around dogs, I genuinely understand them. I have experience with both pet sitting and training, which means I'm comfortable working with puppies who are still learning the ropes, adult dogs with established routines, and seniors who may need a little extra patience and attention. I'm attentive to behavior, energy levels, and body language, and I enjoy helping reinforce good habits while keeping pets feeling safe, comfortable, and loved. Whether your dog wants an adventure, a game of fetch, a structured walk, or simply someone to sit quietly with them, I meet them where they are. Most of all, I treat every animal as an individual. My goal isn't just to watch your pet. It's to make sure they're happy, well cared for, and excited to see me again. I'm self-employed, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to build my day around the pets I'm caring for. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and honestly, it's just as much a source of joy and stress relief for me as it is a part-time way to earn a little extra spending money. Whether it's a walk, a drop-in visit, or an overnight stay, I enjoy getting to know each pet's personality and routine. Some dogs want to play, some want to explore, and some just want a buddy to hang out with. I'm happy to meet them where they are and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you're away. I believe pets do best when their routine stays as normal as possible, so I take the time to learn each pet's schedule, preferences, and personality. Whether I'm caring for them in their home or mine, my focus is on making sure they feel safe, comfortable, exercised, and loved. In a client's home, I respect both the pet's routine and the owner's space. I follow feeding schedules, administer medications if needed, provide walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of updates so owners know their pets are doing well. I also have experience with basic training and behavior reinforcement, so I'm happy to maintain any commands, boundaries, or routines you're already working on. For puppies, that may mean consistency and structure. For senior pets, it often means patience, comfort, and a little extra attention. Every animal is different. Some want an adventure, some want a cuddle buddy, and some just want someone reliable to keep their world feeling normal until their family gets home. That's the approach I bring to every pet I care for.
“Simon made my first time using Rover so easy. I received a report for each visit - with photos, which was comforting. Simon is very responsive, and easy to work with. I would definitely hire again!”

“We were so nervous about leaving our brand new puppy home for the first time while we went back to work. Megan came twice to feed and play with our two pups and was amazing and very communicative. Definitely recommend!”

“Grace has been great! She is always on time and has been patient with my neurotic dog who has a hard time with new people. Would highly recommend her to anyone in need of help with your pups.”

Yay John! We felt totally comfortable leaving our house for two weeks, knowing that the cats were in John’s care. He was an excellent communicator, did everything for the cats exactly as I had hoped, and left everything extremely clean. John is very thoughtful, and we will absolutely be rebooking with him! I highly recommend him to anyone who cares about their cats!

We have a bit of a high maintenance crew, & Raven not only made sure to keep their routine for us while we were away but also received approval nudges from our selective bengal, & affection from our shy ferret girl!! Which is the highest badges of honor in this household. Would highly recommend to anyone who has elder pets who need extra attention, & those who have anxious or selective babes. Thanks for giving us peace of mind, Raven!

Ellen is 1000% the best! She is always prompt in replying to messages and takes the best care of my cat. I’ve been lucky to use her for the past 2.5 years and have nothing but incredible experiences with her. She is attentive to detail and is always willing to go above & beyond. I would recommended her to any & everyone looking for a cat sitter. I am so lucky to have her help!

Charles is the absolute best!! He took such great care of my kitty and went above and beyond to make each visit special! The pictures included were shot like a professional photographer and helped out with packages, an any problem, and gave me updates on the house. He is SERIOUSLY THE BEST!!!

Joss sent charming photos of our dapper man, and it was clear that he was happy to have her company while we were away! Her updates were sweet and thoughtful. We were looking for a cat enthusiast/specialist to keep our guy company, and Joss was the perfect choice!

Maleah has done a fantastic job taking care of our kitties time and time again. Anytime we go away I know exactly who my first call will be to watch the kitties. Maleah always takes great care of the cats, stays extra time when she can, and sends us ALL the pictures. You can’t go wrong with Maleah- she’s the best.

I cannot recommend Angela enough. Our cat was recently diagnosed with diabetes and requires blood sugar checks and insulin injections. Angela handled this perfectly and provided thorough updates on his status. She came over to learn how to care for him and took detailed notes. Angela is very professional and clearly has a deep love for animals. She is a pleasure to work with. Look no further— you’ve found your pet care angel!

Gera deamlessly stepped into our medical routine for our geriatric cat. She was very communicative, reached out with clarifications in places our instructions weren't explicit since she knew how delicate our cat's health can be. We really appreciated her diligence and care of our high needs cat.

Elinor took great care of our high needs geriatric cat. With progressive kidney failure and a long list of medicines, our cat has a specific medical schedule and Elinor stepped into our routine seamlessly. She's a professional vet tech and was able to do the subcutaneous water daily. We appreciated her support with our sweet, but high maintenance cat.
