About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.

About: I have lots of recent experience caring for young puppies thanks to my 2 year old mini aussie Lupin! I also have experience caring for elderly dogs with extra care needs. I want to help teach the commands you give your pup on walks and give lots of praise, love, patience & treats! I’ve had experience helping nervous dogs become more comfortable with new dogs. I think providing dogs with the right environment, building trust, giving lots of praise and affection are the keys to a happy pup! :) I would love to get to know your dog and give them the opportunity to get outside and moving when life gets busy! About: I have often fostered rescue pups through OTAT PDX, and have taken care of many friends' pets. Different breeds and personalities. They love romping in my yard, and I can also take reactive pups to Sniffspots if they can't do walks or a park. I love all animals and would love to hang out with your fur buddy. I work from home and able to go outside fairly frequently for walks or playtime in the yard. If I need to leave the pup at home for a bit, I usually put on some music or nature sounds and give them a high value treat when I leave...and lots of attention when I return. I have a fenced yard and no other pets or humans in the home (it's just me!). My home is generally pretty quiet and chill. Love taking dogs out for exercise and enrichment multiple times a day as needed.

About: I love all dogs, especially Boston Terriers! I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet entrusted to my care is treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own. I am very active and love taking pups for any length of walk or park time that they need or enjoy. I provide lots of love, snuggles, play time, and am happy to give them as much (or little) attention as they need. While I love to spoil our fur friends, I adhere to your instructions, always, and can provide as many updates and photos of your pup as you'd like. We have a fully fenced large backyard (for Portland) and I supervise all furry friends when we are outside. We have a fenced dog run that is lit for nighttime needs. Dogs are allowed on our furniture and in the bed during the day for snuggles. In a clients home, I follow every instruction left for care of your pup and work to ensure your property is in the same shape (or better) than when I arrived. I will never leave your dog in any state other than a calm and relaxed manor. I take great care to ensure that your property is secured when I leave and can follow any instructions for key care, lockbox codes, etc. including key pick-up and drop-off.
