About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.
About: i was raised around dogs my entire life. i have a pup who is 3 years old who is like my baby. i know what it is like to have an animal that you love like a child & i want to help others out by treating their dogs like they’re family (: i am a stay at home mama at the moment. i have 3 years of experience working at a dog boarding and grooming shop as a kennel assistant 🤍 i have 2 fenced yards that are big enough for the doggos to run around in. there are many toys at my house for the dogs to play with and even have 2 friendly dogs for the pups to play with as well. my puppy is pretty active and wants to play constantly, she loves the comfort of another animal.

About: Grew up around cats my whole life and have just kind of always liked them I absolutely love animals and I heard I could make lots of cat friends on this app honestly I really just want to pamper everyone’s perfect babys and that’s why I’m here. Flexible/open. I bus so that’s something that needs to be kept in mind otherwise I’m free most days I have a job that’s in the slow season and I’m not getting any hours at it so I need to make money somehow. About: I've had pet dogs and cats my entire life, I have never not lived with an animal. I've always been an advocate for animals and animal welfare, am vegan, and volunteer with local dog adoption and wildlife conservation groups. I love animals. I live in SE Portland in the Brentwood-Darlington area, and am currently available Monday through Friday for dog walks, and can come to you to walk your pup in your neighborhood. I have pet drop-ins listed in my services, however that applies to cats. Rover does not have an option to separate walking and drop-in settings. I do not believe that dogs should ever be left alone for more than 10 hours max, and especially never overnight. Please look for a sitter if that is the case. My dog gets a minimum of 3 half hour walks per day, and is rarely home alone for more than 6 hours at a time.

About: I have a long history of both owning and caring for dogs. To me, a fur baby is family and any pet left under my care is treated with the same love and affection as I would with my own. In a clients home, I follow every instruction left for care of your pup and work to ensure your property is in the same shape (or better) than when I arrived. I will never leave your dog in any state other a calm and relaxed manor. I take great care to ensure that your property is secured when I leave and can follow any instructions for key care, lockbox codes, etc. including key pick-up and drop-off.

This was our second time booking Tara and, once again, absolutely loved her! She was incredibly patient with our older kitty’s medication administration (he can be very finicky) and was willing to try a variety of methods to ensure he gets his pill while also keeping his comfort in mind. Whenever she had questions, she was quick to reach out and even hopped on several video calls with us when needed. Her frequent and detailed communication really helped ease our anxieties while being away from our boys for the holidays. I cannot recommend Tara enough for any of your petsitting needs!
Joss is so great with both my kitties! My shy girl warmed up to them quicker than any other sitter. Joss also takes the best pictures and videos, and always leaves detailed notes. It’s hard being away from my babies, but Joss’s care makes it sooo much easier.
Oh my goodness! I seriously could not be any happier about Katherine’s care and support. This visit was exactly what my puppy and I needed. Katherine was right on time and gave the care necessary and did everything I asked for. It definitely eased my anxiety to know my girl was in good hands and I had nothing to worry about. I hate when my dog needs to be home all alone but getting confirmation from Katherine made it all possible. I appreciate her care and support so very much!!
Heather was incredible! We have 2 very shy cats. Heather was super responsive and we did a meet and greet ahead of our trip. The kitties really took to her right away, which was a very happy surprise for us! When Heather was doing her drop in visits she took tons of pictures and left us a detailed report on their temperament, interactions, and behaviors which was so nice for us because we do miss our kitties when we're away. It was so obvious the attention and care she paid to every detailed instruction we left. The kitties were calm and happy as clams when we returned home; a sure sign of an easeful and trustworthy pet care experience for them. Thank you Heather! I've had Janell sit for my kitties a number of times now. She is great and I will continue booking with her. When I get home the cats have been cared for (they aren't desperate for attention), any kitty messes have been cleaned up, the boxes are clean, cats have food and water, the house is clean, mail has been brought in and she has communicated about her visits while I was gone. Great sitter!
This is the second Christmas Micaela has taken care of our cats and while it’s hard to be away from them, the hilarious candid photos attached to the reports and knowing how well they are cared for makes it slightly easier. She’s always our first choice for a sitter and every time we come home to happy cats and a clean space. 10/10
We love Lindsey and so do our two kitties! They come right to her to play, and she is so gentle and caring with them. I can see from the photos that they’re calm, curious, and happy with her.
