“After just moving to Oregon, I was put in a pinch. Had to travel back east for a funeral. I don't know anyone here yet and needed a dog sitter. Back to ROVER I went. That's when I found Amanda. On short notice she invited us over for a meet and greet. I always get worried when I have to leave da pooch behind. She's like my child. Amanda was warm and welcoming. She greeted us with a smile. After a short time, I knew she was the sitter for us. I was only gone for 4 days. The communication was great. She sent pics on a daily to give me the comfort knowing my Pooch was doing OK, and most of all HAPPY 😊. I have to travel again next month, and have already reached back out. When a last-minute interview came up and I needed to extend my trip—not just once, but then again for an additional night due to weather—they were incredibly flexible and accommodating every step of the way. It took a huge weight off my shoulders during a stressful and unpredictable weekend. They sent tons of photos, videos, and thoughtful updates, which meant so much to me since leaving Neko is always hard (the separation anxiety definitely goes both ways). Allison is an absolute sweetheart. She took care of my puppy very well. Even went extra miles on washing his bed. She sent lot of pictures and updates. Koa came back very clean and happy. He had a blast with her toddlers, playing in the sun, going on walks. My boy super happy, I am happy! Definitely will be going back to her. She’s the best!
We cant’t say enough good things about our recent pet sitting experience with Gayle. It was our first time using Gayle and we were very happy with her communication and focus on the details to make sure the visit went as planned and it did. But more importantly was her attention to our dogs and making them feel at home in a new environment. In particular one of our dogs is a bit older and needs a little more attention and Gayle was very attentive to that. We would definitely recommend Gayle’s services.
Breann was a great fit for Maisie. Maisie likes to snuggle on the couch and Breann sent daily photos and some videos of Maisie snuggling, obviously feeling right at home, and videos of her out on her walk with Breann. I had to travel overseas and Breann kept in great contact, putting my worries at ease. I wholeheartedly recommend Breann.
Noemi is awesome! She watched my super shy rat terrier buddy for two nights and was absolutely wonderful. She was so thoughtful with him, and it was clear she really cared about making him feel safe and comfortable. She kept me updated, was very reliable, and gave me so much peace of mind while we were away. I came home to a happy, well cared for pup and would absolutely trust her again. Highly recommend!
Alex was so wonderful with my pup! Could not be more grateful to have found him. Frankie is reactive with other dogs and tends to be timid with new people, but she warmed up to him immediately. He has a great understanding of dog behavior and body language, which made me feel so much more comfortable leaving my sensitive pup with someone new. He sent tons of updates, and Frankie got lots of backyard time, enrichment, and walks - it truly felt like she got a vacation too!!
I had a wonderful experience boarding my dog with Amanda and Jaime. Amanda was very communicative and friendly. I appreciated the daily updates and photos. It was clear my dog was very well cared for. They were also extremely helpful with accommodating a last minute request! I will certainly continue boarding with them in the future.
Mark was great for us. Never used a dog sitter before and was nervous going into it. But mark made this experience very nice. Kept me updated and lots of photos and videos of the pups playing. Was very nice to have a sitter who has experience with German shepherds too. His dog viggo is great and got along with my dog very well. Would definitely use mark again.
I never feel great about leaving my dog, but Veronica definitely made me feel a lot better about my choice to leave him with her. She had a friendly and calm demeanor and her work from home situation was a perfect fit for the kind of living my dog is accustomed to. She was very accommodating letting our dogs meet each other beforehand to see if they were a good fit together and also sent pictures and text updates along the way. Great communication and I felt my dog was safe staying at her lovely home. I don’t like leaving my dog, but sometimes we have to, and I would feel comfortable leaving him in her care again.
If you want a sitter your dog is so excited to stay with that they leap out of the car and run up to the front door, this is the place for you! Ollie is always so happy to stay, and he does so well here, I couldn’t be happier. I couldn’t ask for anyone to care for him so well in our absence!
