“Raven was such a great help for my trip. Reliable, trustworthy, and took good care of my dogs. One of my dogs can be a bit tetchy with new people and Raven knew exactly how to handle it (ignore ignore ignore) till he came around and I was really grateful for that level headedness. Definitely plan to hire Raven again!”

“Maddie was a great and attentive sitter to my cat! She made sure to go over his quirks and routines and I felt like he was in good hands. He’s people-selective and took to her immediately. All of his things were also clean and tidy when I returned.”

“ChristyLynn was able to accommodate a last minute drop in request. She was great with the dogs, they sense right away if someone is a dog person and she definitely is. She asked if it was ok for her girls to come for an evening visit and the dogs loved that. Great communication and appreciated the pics. Will definitely use her again.”

“Camille and Shayla were amazing with my cat, and are very lovely people. My cat is very shy towards new people, and they respected his boundaries. He came out of his shell after a few days of them stopping by. I appreciated their detailed reports.”

“Jessica is amazing! She's been so patient with my 1yo stranger danger issues and so kind to my old boy who needs a little extra help here and there. She's also been very communicative on any questions or concerns, and has not once come across as annoyed at my near daily texts while I'm adjusting to have someone care for my pets. I hope to keep her around for a while.”

“We have a medically complicated geriatric cat and Gera came by for a training check in to learn our protocols. She also wanted to check in with our cat to see if she could accommodate her high needs. I SO appreciate this kind of awareness and her saying yes to covering our upcoming vacation after confirming all the care fit fit well within her wheelhouse. Thanks, Gera!”

“Matthew was amazing. He was so attentive to our doggo, diligently checking in and sending pictures of him for each visit. Matthew is super kind, and our boy seemed to have a great time during his visits. Would book Matthew again!”

“The cats were happy, Wendy's communication and flexibility were excellent, and she took some awesome photos of Willow and Marley! We couldn't ask for more! Thank you Wendy! We will ask you to take care of Willow and Marley again whenever we next go out of town.”

“Angela is a great pet sitter and was wonderful with my two cats. She was communicative and made sure to leave detailed notes about how the cats were doing. Really appreciate her and would strongly recommend!”

“Matthew did an amazing job coming by our house to check on our cat and gather our mail. He contacted us with updates on how everything was. Would definitely have him house sit again in the future.”

“Raphael was great with our black lab Lexi. She was very fond of him. He did everything we asked and even cleaned up when she had a little accident. Would highly recommend Raphael!”

“This was my first time using Rover and a dog sitter, so I was a little nervous at first — but Kathy immediately put me at ease! She was warm, professional, and clearly experienced with dogs. My pups were relaxed and enjoyed their time with her. I appreciated the updates and photos she sent, which really helped me relax while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better first experience — thank you, Kathy!”

“Charlie is the best cat sitter! I feel at ease when I leave because I know Charlie will love and take sweet care of my kitty! Thanks for the photos and texts showing how happy Biddy is when I’m gone. Thank you so much Charlie!”

“Jordan has been amazing this week. He was able to watch Blue 3 times and was super understanding when we had to cancel another day last minute. He even agreed to watch him again tomorrow on short notice. I always Know Blue is in good hands with Jordan!”

About: I work for a doggie daycare and dog walking company and I walk up to 10 dogs at a time by myself in all kinds of weather. In hot weather, I bring them to shaded parks. I use healthy treats for training and every dog improves, some dramatically. My business partner and I have given sick or injured dogs wagon rides on paved bike trails to get them fresh air and socialization with their friends. At the time of this writing, between the daycare and Rover, I have worked with 80 dogs. I am currently working full time on weekdays, but I’m available on weekends for dog walking, house sitting and drop-in visits. Dog walking is included with house sitting. I am available to pet sit in client’s homes and walk dogs. I am an avid hiker, so I would take them for walks and runs if appropriate. I double check to ensure harnesses are adjusted properly and comfortable. I use a dog walking belt to attach leashes to, keeping my hands free to pick up after them. If another dog passes, I distract my dogs by offering treats for sitting, staying and directing attention at me. I love taking them to play in parks or the yard, and give lots of love, head scratches and belly rubs! I take time to train so they will trust me and come to me when called. I use a happy, excited voice to encourage them to walk, and a calm, gentle voice when giving them a treat so they learn to take it gently from my hand. I even learned commands in Spanish to help a dog who understands that language best. In addition, I have earned online certificates in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University and Animal Behavior and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh.

About: I have lots of recent experience caring for young puppies thanks to my 2 year old mini aussie Lupin! I also have experience caring for elderly dogs with extra care needs. I want to help teach the commands you give your pup on walks and give lots of praise, love, patience & treats! I’ve had experience helping nervous dogs become more comfortable with new dogs. I think providing dogs with the right environment, building trust, giving lots of praise and affection are the keys to a happy pup! :) I would love to get to know your dog and give them the opportunity to get outside and moving when life gets busy! If your pup needs a place to stay while you’re away, Lupin would love to have them over to play!

Ann is a senior cat whisperer!! She took wonderful care of our two senior cats who have many medication needs and eating trickiness. She sent daily updates with pictures and text to let us know how things were going. We felt lucky to have her help and would definitely ask her to watch them again. Thanks ann!!

Gera was a balm to my anxious heart. I got a hold of them to watch after my older IBD kitty pretty last minute. I received photos, updates every visit, trial med runs before I left town to make sure everyone involved was informed and comfortable, they told me my girly might be experiencing whisker fatigue based on how she was eating so that just shows how much attention to detail and care was put in. Clem isn't very shy but she warmed up to Gera effortlessly and it sure made me feel like she was in great hands.

We couldn't have asked for a better sitter than Jessica. Taking care of a shy senior cat who needs daily medication is no easy task, but Jessica worked her magic and made Oscar feel completely safe. She was reliable, attentive, and ensured we didn't have a single worry while we were away. We will definitely be booking her again!

Jenelle was absolutely amazing with my 19 year old kitty. She requires daily meds and Jenelle handle that very well. I loved all the pictures and the check ins. Janelle was also flexible with her schedule when I wanted to add an extra hour for more snuggle time for my elderly kitty. I would highly recommend Jenelle and would not hesitate to book her again this Summer!

I cannot recommend Wendy enough! She took care of our anxious dog during our vacation and went above and beyond to give him the love we needed while we were gone. She administered multiple medications, engaged with him in play, and provided many photos which let us rest easy that he was in good hands. Will certainly rebook again! Thank you!

Ellen did a great job of taking care of my cat Apple for an extended period of time. She has excellent communication, is thoughtful, generous, and very skilled at training Apple to do tricks! I have booked Ellen in the past, and would gladly book her again. Highly recommended!

Jason was so incredible with my four month old puppy with medical issues. He quickly came over for an initial greet. He was on time for every walk twice a day. He was active the whole time and didn’t sit around like many other walkers may. He was attentive to instructions and went so far as to clean my dog every time he went outside. He was safe, kind, and clearly loves animals. I will be requesting him again for all my dog walking/sitting/boarding needs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
