About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
“Christopher is a great dog walker. He is very considerate and always gives us a heads up before coming in the house to get our dog (in case we’re there). He took our dog Aggie on really nice long walks.”

“Rowan is super kind and reliable. Our pets both liked him inmediately, plus he dealt with an 80+ lbs recently adopted lab who pulls pretty hard and has SO much energy super well. Very appreciated!”

“I’ve left multiple reviews about Jordan thus far, but I’m leaving another one after my dog and I moved from Woodstock to Milwaukie. I feel that Jordan has helped my dog regain confidence and ease after moving to a new area of town. He was patient with the transition to our new building, and has been the constant she needed to get through a stressful moving time. I cannot recommend him enough!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been around dogs my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. I grew up with lovable Labs and recently said goodbye to my soul dog, Murphy — a rescue who taught me so much about caring for dogs with medical and behavioral needs. Since we lost Murphy, I've been spending my time walking and fostering rescue dogs and I've gained experience caring for a wide range of doggy needs. While I’m not quite ready to adopt again, I’d love to share my time, attention, and love with your pup! Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions about my experience or availability. I’d love to learn more about your dog and how I can help make them feel right at home! I work from home, which means your dog will have plenty of company and supervision throughout the day. I can work from your home, or drop in for walks and playtime! Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime at the park, or cozy indoor cuddles, I’m happy to match their energy and routine. I treat every dog as if they were my own — with patience, care, and a whole lot of affection.
“Megan came every day this week to walk my pup Frankie. It didn’t matter if it was dumping rain, hailing, or sunny, Megan showed up energized and ready to go. Megan was responsible, timely, respectful, and all around just a delight to interact with. I can’t recommend enough! They watched Frankie for comfort clues and Megan made sure to match Frankie’s pace.”

“I will definitely be a repeat client. Tommy is wonderful. He's punctual, professional, and just a delight to be around. Most importantly, my 4 year old Lab absolutely LOVES him and sits by the door waiting for him to arrive! So delightful. I recommend Tommy without reservation!”

“Tanja took our dogs for walks while my partner was out of town and I was working long days. Loved that she took pics of the pups with the walks. The Rover card updates are great. Would keep choosing Tanja for to help with our dog's care.”

“We got a new rescue who was struggling with trust and wouldn’t come out of her crate. Aislynn was very understanding and tried very hard to make her comfortable. She went above and beyond and really cares.”

“Albert was amazing—quick to respond, calm with our three pups, and somehow got Rupert (our shy/scared little guy who hides under the couch) to come out and trust him. He was available last minute and kept us updated the whole time. Total pro!”
“Very punctual. Matthew was able to walk my dog same day I had a foot injury, I appreciate the availability. My dog isn't that easy to walk but he did a good job.”

About: I have lived with pets my whole life and consider them family. I love to meet new animals, and believe our family is perfect to host beloved pets like they are our own. I work part time as a Social Worker, and am able to manage my own schedule to accommodate pet care as needed and am flexible. I have a fenced in, large yard for potty breaks and play as needed. I have a 10 year old puggle who loves everyone he meets!

“I am so grateful that Karly has been walking and checking in on my senior dog, Carl these past couple months. It is such a comfort to know that she is taking care of Carl while I'm away for a long work day!”
“Cindy saved the day for us when we had to find a last minute walker after someone bailed on us. She was super quick to respond and sent plenty of pictures. Thanks again Cindy!”

“I’m so glad I found Angela to help walk my very particular little cattle dog/chihuahua mix. He was getting too overstimulated at daycare and this has been a great switch. Angela is super communicative, sends great updates and pictures, and always makes sure Alfie has a fresh bowl of water and has settled down comfortably before she leaves. 🙂”

About: I have 2 years experience being a cat mom. 10 years taking care of cats, little dogs, rodents, bearded dragons, some reptiles and amphibians, fish. I can do senior care. I can do walks, jogs, playtime (no dog parks) with little dogs. Just let me know your wants and needs for your pet baby(ies) and I will say if I can meet them or not. I am available anytime. I can house sit, stay overnight, come over briefly to play or make sure they use the bathroom. I can have time to do short visits too. I have dedicated times for feeding with my own pets, so am used to a regimen of set times. I also assist my partner in medication administration for our elderly cats. Since I will only be offering services outside of my home the following is how I will care for YOUR pets: 1. Provide adequate playtime 2. Scheduled feedings, or adherence to your schedule. 3. Assisting with ongoing training for small dogs, or your other buddy type! 4. Litter cleaning, or poop pickup for dogs. 5. Fun and safe walks. For safety reasons I choose to avoid letting pets I care for interact with other animals during walks (like other dogs), I also prefer not to take them to dog parks. It is with this in mind that I ensure your pet stays safe and has a great time with me! 6. For rodents and other small creatures, I ensure to follow all safety guidelines set by the owner. For lizards I understand many do live feedings, or salads. For rodents/bunnies/etc. I ensure they don't play escape games! I understand their curious nature and ensure that they have time to get to know me slowly. 7. Generally when accepting a new dog client I like to do a meet and greet with the owner, and then a first test visit to ensure the dog feels comfortable with me. This ensures that I and the dog are able to work together well! I want their time with me is amazing! I am patient so understand some dogs take a bit of warming up. This might mean starting visits in the yard for a few times first to build trust.
About: I've spent years hanging out with all kinds of dogs and have had a few of my own for years, so I know what makes them tick. Whether it's a bunch of playful puppies or a sweet old dog, I've taken care of them all. I have experience with newborn litters and taken care of my own elderly dogs. Because of this, I can give your dog the perfect care they need to feel happy and loved, no matter how young or old they are! I currently work a full time job but I get fridays-Sunday off. During the weekends I’m free to take your pup on walks or even house sit while you’re gone enjoying some me time. Weekdays I usually have short days and can be flexible with my hours. I have a fenced back yard, and a lovely park not even 10 min away. They can spend time with me inside and outside my home.
Brentwood-Darlington dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jason has been walking my two small Dogs for several months daily for an hour and 1-2 mi, Ìf the small one Gets tired carries her. They are very excited to see him and they sit on the couch staring at the Front door. The three of them are very well known and enjoyed in the my neighborhood and he is now walking other dogs. You would be fortunate to have him In your life.

Michael was super flexible, very kind, and definitely went out of his way to provide awesome service for me and my dog Charlie! Even though I had the wrong address listed on Rover 🤦♀️ Charlie is pretty exciteable and can be zany when people approach our gate, but Michael was very calm and confident and Charlie was instantly a fan. I know he liked Michael right away because he gave him a little smile! An honor usually reserved for longer term friends 😜 I gave Michael some Charlie-treats for the walk and when I watched them walk away, Charlie was acting like they'd known each other forever! 😂 Michael was very prompt, which was great as this was my first time being on the client side of Rover and Charlie is my emotional support Velcro dog. Michael even got a great, silly pic of Charlie mid-pee, and took Charlie's "walk-and-poo" quirk in good humor. I definitely recommend!

Madeline has been absolutely wonderful with our two dogs, who couldn’t be more different in personality and needs. She’s incredibly attentive, patient, and clearly takes the time to understand each of them individually. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were both cared for in a way that suited them best.

I’ve been booking Kai to walk my dogs for several months now, the experience has been great! He’s quick to communicate, and sends the cutest pictures of my pups. He always knows just what they need, whether that be a brisk walk to get their energy out, or a lounge in the sun to enjoy some relaxing outside time. My dogs have gotten to know him, and I can tell they are very relaxed when he walks them.

Aislynn was such an awesome walker and would highly recommend her! She took such great care of our dog and cat, and we would book her again in a heartbeat. We were in constant communication and the pictures we got every day were great. Thelma and Bourbon would love to see you again!

I’m so glad I found Angela to help walk my very particular little cattle dog/chihuahua mix. He was getting too overstimulated at daycare and this has been a great switch. Angela is super communicative, sends great updates and pictures, and always makes sure Alfie has a fresh bowl of water and has settled down comfortably before she leaves. 🙂
