I’ve been taking care of dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments since I was a teenager. I care deeply about creating a safe, trusting relationship with the animals I look after, and am responsive to their boundaries. Whether they’re shy, exuberant, or nervous, I want to make your pet’s experience comfortable! I have 10 years experience with dogs, 15+ with cats, and 2 with rabbit, birds, and fish.

Safety, trust & environment
In client’s homes, I establish trust with animals by allowing them to set the pace. If the animal is nervous, I’ll slowly and quietly make sure their needs are met (food, water, clean space) and allow them to observe me. If the animals are more outgoing, I like to engage with them and learn how they enjoy being pet, played with, and spoken to.
