About: I love spending time with pets and walking outside. I've taken care of dogs since childhood, and now I live between Laurelhurst and Mt Tabor, so there's no shortage of trails in the area. Let's go!! I'm currently taking a year-long sabbatical from a stressful job and training to hike the PCT, so I am available for your pet at almost all hours of the day! I typically hike a few times a week and may be gone for 4-8hrs, but this is flexible as your pets' schedule demands. My husband also works from home and can provide some extra attention and play. I'm a big fan of drop in and walks! I think staying in their own home is much less stressful for your pet. I am happy to offer a 15% discount if you book multiple drop ins per day (please inquire!). Currently, I am only boarding cats, as I have two cats of my own and occasionally foster. All guest kitties are kept separate.

About: I'm certified for Pet First Aid/CPR and I'm an expert ear scratcher with senior dog and cat experience, including strategies for administering medicine and hydration. The bond with an animal is as pure as anything in life and they deserve our best. It would be my honor to spend time with your pet. Your pet is my first priority. I'm winding down a career as a music producer for advertising. My schedule is light and flexible. As well as being reliable with food and exercise, I believe that time and companionship are also essential parts of pet care. I will learn your pets needs, preferences and whims and will dote on them like my own, whether it be playtime or quiet couch companionship. We treat our two cats like the royalty they are, and I dearly miss the daily walks and friendship of our last dog. I'm excited about meeting your pet.

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). I have three full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can be flexible with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I respect my client’s rules, preferences, and boundaries regarding their pets. I will avoid places they’re not supposed to go, keep them on leash at all times, socially distance them if requested, and never give them treats or food unless given owner permission.

About: Hello! My name is Marcela and I am originally from Guatemala. I am 27 years old and I live in SE Portland. I am a circus artist and an animal lover and will care for your best friend as if they were mine. I can walk your pet, play ball with them, or simply make sure they are comfortable and happy! Feel free to send me specific directions if your dog has a particular allergy, diet or requires any play or exercise. I live with a puppy and a kitten and I love them dearly so unfortunately for the time being I am unable to host. My puppy is staying with grandma until next week so I have some availability these days. Whether your pet is playful and energetic or mellow and easy going, I will match their mood and make sure they have the best possible time while away from you. I look forward to meeting your pet! Lastly, I want to make sure no one has to come home to a messy space and will ensure you bedding, kitchen and common areas are clean and ready for you to relax when you return. If you would like me to also do a deep clean of your home or any specific area, I am happy to add that as an additional service :) I work from home so and am available most days! Id be happy to work alongside your fur baby or check on them and take them out during my breaks. My schedule is quite flexible especially if I know ahead of time so I can prepare accordingly :) My goal is to help your pet feel at home and safe while you are away.
