“Allen took great care of my high energy dog! He sent me photos and videos throughout the day. My dog loved running around in his yard and came back home tired and happy. Will definitely rebook with Allen.”

“Kristopher was able to take Rocket last minute for a day session. Rocket had a fabulous time playing with so many new dogs and was really relaxed for the next few days after we got home. Thank you, Kristopher!”

“Serena is great! I love that whenever I leave Theo in her care, I know he’s going to get nice and tired playing with Nugget, and I appreciate the updates I get throughout the day. 10/10 definitely recommend and we will keep coming to Serena!”

“Margaret provides top- notch care for my pup! I bring my puppy to her for daycare while I'm at work, and I am so grateful to have chosen such a great place for her. Margaret is knowledgeable about dogs and provides focused care. Sloane is always very excited when we arrive, and spends the whole day playing with other dogs... she's also made best friends with Margaret's cat! It's truly been a great experience. I highly recommend Margaret and her care!”
“We have a 3 yr. old rescue that came to us 18 months ago with separation anxiety and a caution not to leave him alone in our home or garage. We have only left him with a friend 3 times for 2 hrs or less. And only periodically for 1/2 days @ doggie DAY care. We have invested much time and money in training him and he’s made a lot of progress but we didn’t want him to have any setbacks. He’s being trained to be a service dog for my husband who has dementia. We knew Jude spent 5 months in foster care mostly around men and he has bonded with a couple of men who help us at home. He also had a reactivity to men with beards, baseball caps and mirrored sunglasses. We carefully and purposefully selected Tommy to be Jude’s first Rover experience. The weather was record high temperatures and he made sure our Jude and several others were as comfortable as possible. The many photos showed all doing well. The meet and greet in park a few days earlier was much appreciated and went exceptionally well, including Tommy’s big happy-go-lucky Omar. In our conversation it was clear Tommy has a true gift for dogs. Some reviews describe him as a “dog whisperer” Some say he’s a good “soul”. I agree full heartedly with those reviews and more - if dog’s had a soul, I’d say he instantly becomes their “soulmates”.”

“Chelsea has been awesome with my pups, and they love playing with her dogs as well. Their stay has been great. They’re tuckered out and happy every day I’ve picked them up after daycare 💞”

“Lisa and Brian got along amazingly with our two pups! One of our younger dogs can be a lot to love (he thinks he's smaller than he really is) and they embraced him fully. Both dogs returned home tired and happy after a fun day of backyard running and snuggles. Lisa was also super communicative and sent lots of photos. We'll definitely reach out to them again!”

“Sequoia took very good care of our anxious pup to make him feel right at home. She provided great photos and thorough details from the day. We will gladly have our Bruce stay with her again!”

“Mark and Viggo are wonderful! Mark is communicative and trustworthy, and we are always so grateful and happy to drop our Great Dane off to hang out with the two. We love the pictures Mark sends, and know that our special guy is in good hands. Thank you Mark and Viggo!”

“Love to go to Allison for daycare stays! She is very organized and a great communicator. She is incredibly attentive with the differing mix of pups each day. Athena always comes back happy and well exercised!”

“Linda was amazing! She took excellent care of my pug and always sent updates and pictures. She has a great yard and wonderful neighborhood. We are very pleased with Linda’s care. Will definitely be contacting her for our future dog care needs.”

“Very impressed with the genuine care and communication from Zo. My dog Bodhi can be rather anxious, so I was rather worried about how he would do meeting Zo for the first time. I had visions of him pacing around and barking. Instead I received pictures of him totally chilled out, relaxing and napping in the sunshine Highly recommend.”

“Anastasia allowed me to relax with my husband for a day without needing to meet all of Remy's needs. This was our first stay with Anastasia, but she offered a Meet and Greet initially that put my mind at ease with regard to her family of pets, the conditions of her yard, and her willingness to answer my questions and needs. She did a great job safeguarding Remy during his day's stay, she sent me photos and an update on how he was settling in, which I greatly appreciated. I'll definitely re-book Anastasia for Remy's pet-sitting needs in the future.”

“Emily is the best! She took great care of my fur baby with updates and was even super patient with the nervous barking she does when meeting someone new. I really recommend her for great care, where you know there won’t be any worries. My dachshund usually doesn’t eat dinner when meeting someone new or walk well on a leash but she ate her dinner and was walking happily & even napped.”

About: I moved to Portland in 2004. My only requirement was that we live next to a dog park so that I could have a dog. My first dog a was a great Dane pitbull mix named Virgil. We got him out of shelter in Tacoma Washington. Then came Lucy, she was a Rottweiler that got dumped on the streets of Portland. At the time we still had two cats, Jack and Ernie. Then my father-in-law came to live with us with his yellow lab named Sabrina. Boy was it a houseful! We all learned together how to coexist. I was so happy to be surrounded by so many wonderful pets. It was trying for sure, but we managed. As the years went by eventually we lost all of them. In 2014 I adopted Thelma a boxer mix who became my everything. I lost Thelma in November and I cannot bring myself to adopt again for a while, yet there is something missing. I need to be around animals. My partner and I have taken care of every type of dogs from the easy to the most difficult. We have taken care of puppies and seniors. Dogs that were needy and the highly independent ones. Right now, my partner and I are working opposite schedules. There will always be someone in the house. My availability is open to any schedule. I have a fenced backyard. My house is very dog friendly. It is all one floor. The whole house is open for pets. I can crate if preferred, but not necessary

“I have nothing but positive things to say about Emiline! I was very nervous to have someone else looking after my dog, but was immediately reassured at drop-off. Emiline took amazing care of my dog, sent a ton of updates throughout the day, and just went above and beyond in making my dog feel safe and secure. I highly recommend her!”

Mark agreed to care for my dog on short notice which I really appreciate. He was extremely communicative and was aware of my dog’s anxiety issues. Since I was booking from out of town, we never had a chance for a meet and greet, so my dog was pretty wary at the beginning. But Mark allowed him to move at his own pace and his dogs were very welcoming. Mark let me know how he was doing right away and sent me a lovely video. Mark was also very flexible with the pickup time. My dog did really well there. We can definitely recommend Mark!

Birdie was scandalized by not being immediately idolized by the rest of the dogs at Dahlia’s and that put her in a grumpy mood, but Dahlia got her out for a walk/distractions and made her feel more comfy and amenable. Thanks for making Birdie feel at home and for the cute pics 😊

Allen did a fantastic job with Huey! He was entirely professional by suggesting a meet and greet with the pups to ensure there was not hostility or aggression. He was very easy to communicate with and was sure to send lots of updates and pictures! I felt very comfortable that he was in good hands as Allen was clearly very knowledgeable about dogs. He can manage multiple dogs in his large yard without any worry as he is very attentive. Would highly recommend Allen!
