About: I moved to Portland in 2004. My only requirement was that we live next to a dog park so that I could have a dog. My first dog a was a great Dane pitbull mix named Virgil. We got him out of shelter in Tacoma Washington. Then came Lucy, she was a Rottweiler that got dumped on the streets of Portland. At the time we still had two cats, Jack and Ernie. Then my father-in-law came to live with us with his yellow lab named Sabrina. Boy was it a houseful! We all learned together how to coexist. I was so happy to be surrounded by so many wonderful pets. It was trying for sure, but we managed. As the years went by eventually we lost all of them. In 2014 I adopted Thelma a boxer mix who became my everything. I lost Thelma in November and I cannot bring myself to adopt again for a while, yet there is something missing. I need to be around animals. My partner and I have taken care of every type of dogs from the easy to the most difficult. We have taken care of puppies and seniors. Dogs that were needy and the highly independent ones. Right now, my partner and I are working opposite schedules. There will always be someone in the house. My availability is open to any schedule. I have a fenced backyard. My house is very dog friendly. It is all one floor. The whole house is open for pets. I can crate if preferred, but not necessary

“This Couple…I have no words..I had a really rough week at work and they accommodated all the changes my work and schedule threw at me..I felt so bad and they were delightful and loving and attentive..My dogs love them..By the third day they were walking in their home like they lived there..Ha..I received pics and update and they had dog bed for my babies and gave lots of love and snuggles my doggies were almost asleep by the time I was home and always ready to see Lisa and Brian…Lisa and Brian YOU ARE MY ANGELS I feel so damn Blessed to have found you..Ill share yall but only a few days a week HAHA..Love yall and thanks for everything! You have made my Oregon experience so much better! Youre the Best!”

I have an English bulldog w anxiety/separation issues and a mix doodle who is shy and full of energy at the same time. When I picked them up both were happy and my bulldog ran back for more scratches and play. That said everything i needed to know.. Will Def be rebooking next time I'm in town.
