“Shout out the Ian. He took my dog in on very short notice, and had no issue with the fact I was 10 mins late to pick her up. (Thanks again)! I appreciate him bunches!”

“Katharina is amazing!! So kind, sweet and communicative! She was so patient with Leonard as he got comfortable. I'm very much looking forward to having her be a regular spot that he gots to go hang at!”

“Erica helped me and my pup Rosie out of a last minute bind. She was incredibly flexible, communicative, and patient while Rosie warmed up from her initial shyness. Thank you Erica!”

“Bridgitte is always great with our little rescue dog. We always get pictures of them out taking walks, and she takes our dog out to public places like restaurants which is good for her socialization. Bridgitte is super friendly and personable, and couldn't be easier to work with.”

“Stephanie is a quintessential earth mother, one of Portland’s best. She accommodated my schedule and was also flexible. She sent feedback as soon as my little dog made himself at home. Whenever I’ve left Pucci alone for an hour he’s absolutely beside himself upon my return When I pick him up from other people friends etc. he has whined and and whimpered and a full body wag and was so relieved that I came back. And when I picked him up at Stephanie‘s, little tiny Pucci just wagged his little tail happily and had his head held high, no whining or crying or whimpering at all. He was just a well-adjusted boy and had had a lovely time I could tail. I think Stephanie will be my person from now on because she and Puccini are friends.”

“Jax needed more exercise and play time with other dogs and we knew that Allen’s was the place he would get it, since we have boarded him there for longer stays. He is very happy there and we are grateful.”

“Laura and Nicholas are so wonderful. They are patient and sweet with my girl Gigi. Very communicative, reliable and have been such a help on my long work days. Gigi is so excited to get to their home and for a sassy fierce pup like mine that is such a relief. They play ball with her, she gets to relax in their backyard and even takes her on hikes. They both have a warm energy and working with them has been a breeze. Definitely would and have recommended them!”

“Amanda was so welcoming and caring while dog sitting for Q. She was knowledgeable and very capable; made sure to know what Q’s needs were. Her dog Ginger was friendly and understanding of Q being shy. Q was so well taken care of in a few days she went from being really shy to getting all excited play with Ginger. Amanda made sure Q had her walks and gave me all the updates I needed. Q started to participate in play more so I know her time with Amanda was safe, fun, and instructive! I would definitely recommend her for dog waking and dog sitting!”

About: All of my dogs have been rescues from the Humane Society and I am sucker for older dogs that need a good stable home for their retirement years. The first dog I adopted had congestive heart failure which required a special diet and medications and strict monitoring of his activity level. I cared for a 22 year old Siamese cat in kidney failure and had to give him subcutaneous fluids 3X / week. I share custody of a senior Pom/Chi rescue with a seizure disorder with my ex-wife. She has to take anti-seizure meds twice daily, has acute colitis and on a bland diet. I have plenty of years of experience handling the elder pups and I just love them so much! I work from home about 90% of the time and have the ability to take breaks/walks. I also have a huge fenced backyard for roaming, sniffing, throw a ball around, zoomies, and potty time. I have a fenced yard for your dog/s to roam, sniff and get their potty's out. I have a senior Pom/Chi who will not be at my home during the days I will be boarding other dogs. She has gotten more grouchy in her older age and gets more stressed so she will be with her mommy who I share custody with during boarding times.

“Mark is so great! My dog has severe anxiety and separation anxiety, so I'm always worried about having people watch her since I know the type can very difficult for people to handle. I explained my dogs issues with Mark and did a meet and greet, he was very friendly and more than happy to accommodate my sweet dog. Apparently she did very well and they went on some great walkies. :)”

“Steph is always fantastic. She's super nice and has been really accommodating and understanding when stuff has come up at the last minute. Normally my dog stresses out a lot, but he has never had an issue when he's visited Steph. He comes back to us mellow and ready for another nap! I would absolutely recommend that you book with Steph!”

“Loved Natalie’s calm and reassuring demeanor. First time using Rover and she made it easy and we really felt like our anxious dog was in great hands! Couldn’t thank her enough.”

“Hillary and family welcomed our dog into their family and were very attentive to her needs. Hillary communicated well and was very responsive. I really appreciated their care.”

About: Hi, I’m Aerika—a lifelong animal lover with years of experience caring for pets. My husband Alex and I, together for 12 years, create a calm, loving environment where your pets can feel comfortable and at ease. I am certified in Cat and Dog First Aid, including CPR, through the American Red Cross. This certification has equipped me with the knowledge and skills to respond effectively to pet emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of animals in my care. Dogs and cats bring so much joy and companionship—I consider it a privilege to care for them. My home is peaceful, loving, and designed to help pets relax and thrive while their humans are away. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to care for your pet throughout the day. I only host a small number of pets at a time (usually 1–3) to ensure personalized attention. Your pets will get lots of love, playtime, and rest—tailored to their energy level and personality. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priorities. I care for your animals in a secure, clean, and loving environment—our home is safe, cozy, and welcoming. I’m experienced with senior pets and those who need oral medications, injections, or extra TLC. I'm located in the Cully neighborhood of NE Portland, just one block from Beaumont-Wilshire and Concordia. It’s a very cute, quiet, and pet-friendly residential area with barely any traffic on the street.

“Anastasia was an amazing caretaker for our puppy! We last minute needed to find a sitter and she was able to accommodate. She was very easy to communicate with, and provided lots of photos and updates. It helped ease our minds leaving our puppy with someone for the first time. Would definitely recommend!”

“Ned enjoys his visits and all the walks!”

“When my boyfriend picked Gizmo up he said he just seemed like he wanted to stay with Joanna. This is a big deal because he’s super attached to us and we were anxious about leaving him with someone new. Joanna posted a video of him during the day so I knew what he was up to and didn’t have to worry at all. Her house is set up for dogs to be comfortable with a lovely sunroom and nice big yard. Joanna had a good energy that I trusted to take good care of my special boy. I will def be using her again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️”
