I have been taking care of dogs and cats in some capacity for the last 20+ years, but much more consistently for the last 18. Friends, family, and community members have relied on me to care for their furbabies in a multitude of ways. I have experience with pets of all ages, including puppies and senior dogs with high medical needs, as well as dogs of all sizes and a diverse array of breeds. I have experience working with chill and friendly dogs as well reactive dogs! I love stopping in during the day for walks, potty breaks, or playtimes in addition to overnight stays with feeding and all other responsibilities included. I am familiar with many basic training techniques and love working with pet owners on what routines/training they have in place for their pets so I can try to keep as much consistency for them as possible. Rest assured your pets will be in good hands.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zo & Mags. Shortly before my trip, my sweet old pup experienced a significant reduction in her mobility. Despite her condition change, they were happy to watch her and were so amazingly sweet to her while I was away. They made sure she was comfortable, helped her have some adventure time in the yard, and even took her for a wagon walk to the park. They provided regular updates which really helped me know that she was in wonderful hands and that I could enjoy my time away. I would trust any pet with them. Thank you so much!
We hit the jackpot with Zo and Margaret!!! My girl is timid, has a sensitive tummy, and goes on a hunger strike every time I leave. Not only did Margaret and Zo treat her like the queen she is, they loved and pampered her like their own. I came home to a relaxed pup who was hesitant to leave (why would she want to?!)! There are no words adequate enough to convey my gratitude to Zo and Margaret. Their excellent care of my girl, their timely communication, and their highly evident love of animals allowed me to relax and enjoy a trip with my family. I am forever grateful!
From the moment we met Zo & Mags, we felt immediately at ease. Zo got right down on the floor with our Shadow girl and gave her pets (her favorite) the entire meet and greet. Their stay at our home with the pups after that went extremely smooth. I loved all the updates and photos they would send. We came home to happy pups, and a well taken care of home. We will definitely be repeat customers!
Margaret and Zo were terrific! Their communication was great. Ghost can be pretty mischievous but they made such an effort to create a safe and comfortable environment to prevent any accidents. Ghost is going through some health concerns and they made sure to keep me in the loop if anything concerning came up. They also took him on some neat adventures and relaxed with him. He had such a great time. Would recommend!!

I was super nervous leaving my dog with someone I didnt know. First time using the rover service. Last minute, I found Zo and Margaret. They made those feelings a non issue right away with thoughtful questions and updates. I got the impression Max felt super comfortable with them from the pictures they sent me through out the day. I think he likes their couch better then ours. The best way to sum it up is just 10/10 no notes. Would highly recomend them.

Schedule
I currently work from home so am home most days with a flexible schedule. This gives me flexibility to do walks, feedings, and other things on a more flexible schedule to stick with any routines they might be on. My partner is also a pet lover and has a flexible work schedule so almost always one of us is home to keep your pets company.

I have a fenced yard with room to romp and play. We also live close to several parks, including a large off leash dog park if your dog is able to go off leash. We have one indoor/outdoor cat that loves dogs and would be happy to smoosh up against your dog. If your dog isn't into cats, we can keep them separate. We used to have a reactive dog and managed this for several years. If we do need to leave your pet unattended in our home, we can crate them or leave them out. Our home allows several options.
Pets
A typical day
I love to stimulate pets both physically and mentally. We'll go for walks in the neighborhood and smell lots of plants and other items around town. If your dog can go off-leash, we can check out some of the parks close by, including a large off leash park. We'll play games and cuddle if your dog is in to that. I try to let pets tell me what they need and what they like so they get the right amount of stimulation and care.

- Let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviors I need to be on the lookout for. For example, do they love to eat trash off the street? Do I need to be prepared for them to go swimming in the mud puddle? Are they reactive to anything on walks or inside the home? What triggers do they have? I'd also love to know about any special training, commands, or routines they have so I can try to have some consistency with them. Of course, I'd also love to know about any medical needs they have as well.
