It’s definitely her happy place, so much so that we come to the private field/doggy oasis to play on other days too! She’s looking forward to her three night stay later this week too. About: I’m a work from home PhD student with one dog and one cat. I’d love to board or day care your doggo. I will be home with your dog for their entire stay. I’ll treat your dog as my own: giving them frequent potty breaks, a daily long walk, and lots of scritches. My Pom Ellie would love to have a friend who visits! I have several rooms and can separate your dog for meals, if needed. My dog is very much a food-hunter so our home is kept safe from doggies getting in to anything not meant for them. I only sit one dog at a time. You’ll get lots of photos and updates! 🤍 I run a business that is fully online from my home, and I am also a PhD student. So, I am always home and will be with your dog unless I have to run an errand. We take one longer walk per day and have many potty breaks otherwise (every 2-4 hours). Meals will happen on the schedule you describe. I have a Pomeranian here but she can be separated if your dog has special eating needs. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and in bed. Lots of toys around and my Pom will be so happy to have a friend to play with.

About: Hi! I love dogs, and I bet you do, too. I have been dogsitting for friends and professional contacts for 15 years across multiple countries. I have one dog, Aubie, a sweet Australian Shepherd. He needs a lot of human attention, compliments, and play, so it’s guaranteed that your own dog will be spoiled with love and attention during their stay. Your dog will be the only visitor in my home so they are guaranteed a ratio of 1 adult and 1 friendly dog playmate. I have worked with multiple PDX dog trainers in order to be a responsible and reliable dog owner, including Wonder Puppy, Dog Adventures Northwest, and Puddletown Hounds. I work remotely from home 100% of the time. I have no children. I take my active dog for several walks per day, give him backyard playtime, and make sure he gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Because I work from home, it’s not a full day of endless play nor an outdoor adventure hike, but it is companionship, playtime, a calm atmosphere, and as much snuggling as your dog requests! I have a cute and cozy home with plenty of space to hang out indoors, including an ADU. My backyard is completely fenced, secured, and escape proof. A large part of the backyard is covered, so we can hang outside even when it’s a little rainy. My dog is very social and sweet and has zero possession over food or toys. (He does like to bark hello!) Your dog will thrive in my home if they enjoy the company of other dogs, calm adults, a Montessori-with-boundaries approach to dog care, and leisurely walks around leafy Concordia. I mostly work from a laptop on the couch, the kitchen island, the bed, or my backyard, so when I’m not playing with your pup they will be still have access to cuddles and company.
