I only care for the BEST dogs in Portland. Yours! From the tiniest Chihuahua to the 160lb Great Dane, I take care of them all. I’ve spent the last 9 years walking pullers, sniffers, runners, draggers, puppies, seniors, special needs, mutts, pedigrees all over Portland. I've been doing this long enough to be rated in the top 10% of Rover walkers and I've never had a dog NOT like me. Even the dogs that aren’t usually comfortable with strangers end up in my lap or following me around before too long. I'm that guy that gets excited when the dog at the party comes over to them. I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own and I have a pretty high standard for my own spoiled rotten pooches. Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I also run my own leash manufacturing business. But getting paid to play with and interact with dogs is my dream job. I am also a freelance writer, compiling a list of short stories about how owners met their pets. If you’re interested in participating, let me know when you book me. I have a pretty set stable of clients that I have at daycare on a weekly basis. I’m flexible, though and can usually manage to fit in a last minute request. Multiple walks, plenty of outdoor time in the fenced in yard with my three playful and friendly dogs. Nearby parks and trails also. Lots of interaction, attention, and affection.

We are so happy we found Josh!!!! We are staying in Portland for a few months and our dog really needed some socialization and he goes regularly to a daycare that he loves in our home town, that he started at 5 years ago, so I was nervous it couldn’t measure up to what he’s used to or that he’d feel nervous in a new place. Let me just say, Josh surpassed what we even could have dreamed of! Our dog, Halen LOVES HIM and had so much fun playing with new friends. Josh really curates a nice pack and has great control of each dog. His three dogs are little ambassadors, too. He sent us photos and updates and was so lovely to interact with. Dare I say Halen has found a new favorite daycare? I do!
Great stay for Jefe our nervous dog. Loved being with other animals and Josh was so responsive.
Josh F. cancelled a booking 1 day before it was scheduled to begin.
Couldn’t be happier. My boy turned up with an ear infection. Josh happily medicated him and even went the extra mile and gave him a dry bath after playing outside. I will be booking again.
Josh always does an amazing job. He’s so nice and Vash loves him!!

Schedule
I do boarding and doggy daycare full time. I am also available for drop in visits for your pet(s) when you’re away. I’m currently not taking on any new walking clients.

I have a six foot fence around my yard, three awesome friendly dogs, and the ability to crate your dog if they need a safe spot to relax and get away from it all. Daily walks, playtimes, and treat breaks are always on the schedule.

I have three amazing dogs that get along with everyone and every dog they’ve ever met. I also have a fenced in yard in a nice neighborhood with a couple of parks and walking trails nearby.

- General disposition, personality, favorite treats and activities, and those special little quirks that make your dog the most loveable furry thing in your life. As well as what triggers they may have. Rest assured that when I walk your dog, I never let them get near other dogs. Regardless of how friendly your dog or the other dog may be, I always cross the street, turn around, or avoid any confrontations with other dogs. Your dog’s health and safety is my utmost concern.
