Your dog's SECOND best friend
I only care for the BEST dogs in Portland. Yours! From the tiniest Chihuahua to the 160lb Great Dane, I take care of them all. I’ve spent the last 9 years walking pullers, sniffers, runners, draggers, puppies, seniors, special needs, mutts, pedigrees all over Portland. I've been doing this long enough to be rated in the top 10% of Rover walkers and I've never had a dog NOT like me. Even the dogs that aren’t usually comfortable with strangers end up in my lap or following me around before too long. I'm that guy that gets excited when the dog at the party comes over to them. I treat every dog I care for as if they were my own and I have a pretty high standard for my own spoiled rotten pooches. Dogs have always been an important part of my life. I also run my own leash manufacturing business. But getting paid to play with and interact with dogs is my dream job. I am also a freelance writer, compiling a list of short stories about how owners met their pets. If you’re interested in participating, let me know when you book me. I have a pretty set stable of clients that I have at daycare on a weekly basis. I’m flexible, though and can usually manage to fit in a last minute request. Multiple walks, plenty of outdoor time in the fenced in yard with my three playful and friendly dogs. Nearby parks and trails also. Lots of interaction, attention, and affection.

Our dog had a great first day with Josh and his group of dogs. Super easy communication and flexibility with scheduling is also awesome for those of us who work non-traditional hours.
I can't speak highly enough of the experience I had choosing Josh to watch my brand new dog after I had to go on a last minute trip. I just brought a new dog home and was still learning about him, so I was a bit stressed having to put a sitter in a situation where neither of us really know the dog well. I scheduled a meet and greet with Josh and his pups (who are all amazing). My new dog was instantly comfortable in the space, around Josh, and his own dogs. While on my trip, Josh sent photo updates every day, letting me know how my dog was doing. I felt so at ease knowing my new dog was in good hands. Josh is very knowledgable about dogs and clearly takes such good care of every single one in his house. I will definitely book with Josh any time I can!
Over many years, Josh has become a friend and cuddler of our lil kitties! Always reliable, kind and flexible, we never hesitate to return to josh!

Dates de la garde
I do boarding and doggy daycare full time. I am also available for drop in visits for your pet(s) when you’re away. I’m currently not taking on any new walking clients.

I have a six foot fence around my yard, three awesome friendly dogs, and the ability to crate your dog if they need a safe spot to relax and get away from it all. Daily walks, playtimes, and treat breaks are always on the schedule.

I have three amazing dogs that get along with everyone and every dog they’ve ever met. I also have a fenced in yard in a nice neighborhood with a couple of parks and walking trails nearby.
