I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is a thriving child of divorce and is with her Dad until August. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.

About: I’m a work from home PhD student with one dog and one cat. I’d love to board or day care your doggo. I will be home with your dog for their entire stay. I’ll treat your dog as my own: giving them frequent potty breaks, a daily long walk, and lots of scritches. My Pom Ellie would love to have a friend who visits! I have several rooms and can separate your dog for meals, if needed. My dog is very much a food-hunter so our home is kept safe from doggies getting in to anything not meant for them. I only sit one dog at a time. You’ll get lots of photos and updates! 🤍 I run a business that is fully online from my home, and I am also a PhD student. So, I am always home and will be with your dog unless I have to run an errand. We take one longer walk per day and have many potty breaks otherwise (every 2-4 hours). Meals will happen on the schedule you describe. I have a Pomeranian here but she can be separated if your dog has special eating needs. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and in bed. Lots of toys around and my Pom will be so happy to have a friend to play with.

One issue I faced which wasn’t a huge deal, was in the middle of my reservation the rate of sitting increased to almost double the initial rate I paid for. My intial booking was 15/day and I asked for one more day of sitting, and the entire reservation was modified to 25/day. It caught me off guard since it was the middle of the week and I was caught off guard with the new price. The service was worth the new rate, just wanted transparency there.”

Monty was so comfortable in his space and he was good with getting her outside and having time to explore. Navjot also was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and updates during her stays. I will definitely use Navjot again for any future trips.”

“Heath and Amy were amazing! Super flexible with all drop off and pickup needs, they have a lovely family that clearly love animals. Our dog was super happy to spend over a week with them which isn't super common as she is typically a bit nervous about new home environments. Not in this case, she made herself right at home thanks to their welcoming presence and their own pup was the perfect playmate. We will definitely be reaching out to them for future dogsitting needs.”
