Although that trial was just a few hours, they sent lots of sweet photos and my guy was clearly being well cared for. Chris & Leah were focused on his comfort and well-being. It brings me invaluable peace knowing I can take my trip out of state for a week and leave my darling boy with such caring and attentive people.”

“Rebecca is the only sitter I trust Stella with for an extended stay! She sent me frequent picture updates and I could tell she embraced Stella as part of her own pack, letting her sleep on the bed, giving her a take-home toy when she fell in love with a rubber chicken, even taking her to the Coast while I was away. So thankful we have Rebecca as Stella's sitter and boarder!”

I highly recommend Amy for anyone who is looking for a home-away-from-home for their pet. I will absolutely be booking with Amy for every trip & overnight stay from now on, so happy that I found her!”

“Josh did great with our cantankerous 16 year old chihuahua! He allowed Max to get acquainted with the other dogs but also gave Max his own space to come and go as he needed to accommodate his frequent nap schedule. Josh sent daily updates and was very pleasant to work with. We would definitely recommend him for boarding needs!”

“Christopher was wonderful! My dog came back to me happy and tired! It was obvious that my 2 year old corgi had been very well taken care of. He sent daily pictures and videos, and promptly responded to me during my time away. I highly recommend!!!”

“This was Reggie’s first time staying with Kris. It’s was pretty hot those 3 days and 2 nights but luckily Kris’ air conditioned home kept out hound cool and they played in the doggy pool to cool off during the day. We appreciated the photos and updates Kris provided. We would definitely recommend Kris.”

About: I have a decade of experience taking care of small to medium dogs. Have a lot of experience with senior animals and animals with disabilities and know how to handle and distribute medications if needed. I am currently on summer break from work as I am a Special Edcation paraeducator. I am somewhat of a homebody who loves to spend her time reading and taking walks outside. I tend to go to bed fairly early at night so that I'm up early to take care of my own fur baby. This tends to be the same when school is in session as well. As stated before I have a fur baby of my own. A cat named Phoebe who loves people and getting to know other animals. I love spending time with the animals I take care of whether its walk or play time. Bonding is very important to me. I want your fur babies to feel as safe and comfy as possible when they're with me. There's also nice parks nearby where I live so I can take them to play anytime the weather is nice.
“Frida was awesome with communication and taking care of Ashton. He seems like he had a great time, we’ll definitely be back in touch. He seemed super comfortable and happy when I picked him up.”

About: I've lived with cats for a decade now and I love to play with them and give them the attention they want and need. I've had cats of my own and I am familiar with their daily tasks like feeding, cleaning the litter box, and playing with them with their toys.
About: As a dog owner of my own for 8 years and growing up with pets, I know how important it is to find someone who will care for your pets like they’re family. Thats me! I will care for your animals like they are my own and will always strive to give them a positive encounter. I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies (around 3 weeks old and up). I know sometimes extra care is needed and will always prioritize their comfort and well being. Additionally, I am good with shy and/or skittish dogs and know how to help them feel safe while showing them I am trustworthy and gentle. My experience with cats is about 10 years. I am currently in school which helps my schedule be decently flexible. Most of my classes are online so I can be home with dogs the majority of the day! My dog, Sage, is a thriving child of divorce and is with her Dad until August. If your dog is staying with me, I have a fenced area in the condo units where I live. Condo is single story. There are several parks close by, including the Alberta Park Dog Off Leash Area which is not fenced. If you are comfortable and your dog has good recall to me, I can take your dog there, too. If they prefer to be leashed the whole time, other parks are close and we will have just as much fun! If I am picking your dog up to walk and return to your home, I will take the utmost care to be gentle and respectful of your animal and home. It can be strange for animals to have someone new in their space and I will make sure they know I am a safe person. If pet parents are amenable, I usually have small training treats I give my dog on walks and can do the same for your dog! I have experience ranging from very young puppies to senior dogs as well as post surgery care.

About: I’m a work from home PhD student with one dog and one cat. I’d love to board or day care your doggo. I will be home with your dog for their entire stay. I’ll treat your dog as my own: giving them frequent potty breaks, a daily long walk, and lots of scritches. My Pom Ellie would love to have a friend who visits! I have several rooms and can separate your dog for meals, if needed. My dog is very much a food-hunter so our home is kept safe from doggies getting in to anything not meant for them. I only sit one dog at a time. You’ll get lots of photos and updates! 🤍 I run a business that is fully online from my home, and I am also a PhD student. So, I am always home and will be with your dog unless I have to run an errand. We take one longer walk per day and have many potty breaks otherwise (every 2-4 hours). Meals will happen on the schedule you describe. I have a Pomeranian here but she can be separated if your dog has special eating needs. Dogs are welcome on all furniture and in bed. Lots of toys around and my Pom will be so happy to have a friend to play with.

“Erika was absolutely wonderful! She took Moon on short notice without hesitation, which I really appreciated. From the start she was warm, kind, and made me feel completely at ease leaving him with her. She kept me updated throughout, which meant so much. Moon and her dog Miabella got along great, which made the whole experience even better. I will definitely be booking with Erika again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!”

“Michael was a lifesaver today on Super short notice (my sitter cancelled last minute) he was very quick to reply, extremely friendly and professional, but best of all.. my dogs absolutely Loved him. I have an English bulldog w anxiety/separation issues and a mix doodle who is shy and full of energy at the same time. When I picked them up both were happy and my bulldog ran back for more scratches and play. That said everything i needed to know.. Will Def be rebooking next time I'm in town. Thank you again Michael!!”

“Arlo had so much fun with Zoe and Noah! This was my first time ever taking Arlo to a sitter and using the Rover app. I was extremely nervous for Arlo since I don't leave him often and never with someone I haven't met before but thanks to them it was a wonderful experience. I got updates with pictures throughout the day, they took him on a walk, he got to play with other dogs, all around a great experience for the both of us! I will definitely be taking Arlo back when needed.”

About: Hi! I’m Izzy 👋I’ve taken pride in caring for animals of all kinds over the last 10+ years, providing boarding and house sitting for neighbors, coworkers, and family friends. When my partner and I met our dog Bertie, about 6 years ago, my life was forever changed for the better and I fully understood the magic pets bring to our lives. I would be honored to care for your fur-babies! Your pet's health and safety are my number one priority. My goal is for you to feel as comfortable as possible leaving your pet in my care. I am home full time throughout the week, so I have plenty of flexibility and time to tend to your pet’s specific needs and schedule. We have a large fenced yard perfect for running around, and love going for walks in our quiet neighborhood! When it comes to caring for your pet in your home, I do my absolute best to stick to your pet’s normal routine.

About: Hi! I love dogs, and I bet you do, too. I have been dogsitting for friends and professional contacts for 15 years across multiple countries. I have one dog, Aubie, a sweet Australian Shepherd. He needs a lot of human attention, compliments, and play, so it’s guaranteed that your own dog will be spoiled with love and attention during their stay. Your dog will be the only visitor in my home so they are guaranteed a ratio of 1 adult and 1 friendly dog playmate. I have worked with multiple PDX dog trainers in order to be a responsible and reliable dog owner, including Wonder Puppy, Dog Adventures Northwest, and Puddletown Hounds. I work remotely from home 100% of the time. I have no children. I take my active dog for several walks per day, give him backyard playtime, and make sure he gets plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Because I work from home, it’s not a full day of endless play nor an outdoor adventure hike, but it is companionship, playtime, a calm atmosphere, and as much snuggling as your dog requests! I have a cute and cozy home with plenty of space to hang out indoors, including an ADU. My backyard is completely fenced, secured, and escape proof. A large part of the backyard is covered, so we can hang outside even when it’s a little rainy. My dog is very social and sweet and has zero possession over food or toys. (He does like to bark hello!) Your dog will thrive in my home if they enjoy the company of other dogs, calm adults, a Montessori-with-boundaries approach to dog care, and leisurely walks around leafy Concordia. I mostly work from a laptop on the couch, the kitchen island, the bed, or my backyard, so when I’m not playing with your pup they will be still have access to cuddles and company.

“Jenni is great. She has helped us get our high energy dog out for walks while we are at work. She is patient with our little pup, and he always seems happy on days they walk. “Jordan took really good care of our dog. My dog has a missing toe and needs to wear a boot and Jordan was very careful about that before he took him on a nice neighborhood walk.”
“Carlie has been really awesome with dog walking for my pup, Gus, during the work day. Gus is reactive towards other 4-legged creatures, and Carlie has been doing a great job with giving him quality walks while managing their encounters with others. Carlie has also been consistent time-wise and reliable so far.”

“Shayne is amazing and took such great care of my dog, she sends great photos and videos. Her roommates are all really friendly and overall she has a great home and environment for dogs to visit. After a day of playing with her and her dog Ozzy my pup Stu didn’t want to do anything but sleep. When we went back to visit again he ran straight onto her porch and sat right in front of the door until she opened which really tells you that he had a great time and was so excited to be there again. I just hope she is always available when I need a dog walker or sitter because we’ve been spoiled and can’t imagine going to anyone else. If you book Shayne you will not be disappointed but your bar for who you let care for your dog will definitely be set high.”

“Laura and Nick took the best care of our girl Lulu while we were on vacation. They sent daily updates on how she was doing and what they were up to that day. Will definitely be boarding our pup with them again!”

“Breann did a great job. My dog has some sensitivities, but Breann ensured she was comfortable and safe. She asked good questions during our meet and greet, which demonstrated critical thought toward safety and adjusting her effort to each dog. Breann has other dogs, both of whom had different tolerances for play than my higher energy, large hound. She managed them together well. She provided us with frequent photo updates, and would have been available if we needed anything. I recommend booking with her.”

“Heath and Amy were wonderful! They took great care of Eloise and were patient and attentive to her timidness with new people. I appreciated the communication, updates and photos. Eloise got along great with their pup and they played and enjoyed each others company. I will book Eloise a stay with Health and Amy again in the future! Thanks again for taking care of my sweet girl.”
