Hi, my name is Erika. 👋 I have years of experience dog and cat sitting for friends and coworkers, and I’ve cared for dogs my entire life. I have a huge heart for all animals (15 year vegan for the animals) and I absolutely love spending time with them. I have a dog at home named Miabella who gets along well with most dogs but does not do well around larger dogs (30lb+) who are high energy, engage in rough play, or aggressive. I’m very Type A detail-oriented, so if your pet has a specific feeding routine, med schedule, or care instructions, I’ll make sure everything is followed exactly as requested.

Erika was absolutely wonderful! She took Moon on short notice without hesitation, which I really appreciated. From the start she was warm, kind, and made me feel completely at ease leaving him with her. She kept me updated throughout, which meant so much. Moon and her dog Miabella got along great, which made the whole experience even better. Schedule
I currently work from home and I have a lot of time to play, walk, run, and even teach your pup cool tricks if you’d like. I have experience working with dogs with separation anxiety and dogs who are reactive. Please let me know if you are working on training of any kind so that I can keep implementing training while you are away

My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you’re away and will do my best to make them feel at home. I have a small apartment, but have plenty of space for their dog bed, crate, food bowls, toys, blanket, whatever they need to feel at home.

A typical day
If you book with me over a weekend, there’s a good chance your dog will spend lots of time outdoors with me. I frequently visit dog-friendly trails around Forest Park, the coast, and the Gorge, and I love bringing dogs along for fresh air, exercise, and adventure. Of course, please let me know if that’s something you’re not comfortable with, and I will always respect your preferences and your pet’s needs. I also make communication a priority and will send morning and midday updates on your pet’s mood, behavior, energy level, appetite, sleep, and overall well-being — along with plenty of photos throughout the day so you can see them having fun and feeling happy
