About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.

About: Hi! I’m Erika, a lifelong animal lover and experienced cat owner. I cared for my two beloved cats, Valentino and Niko, for 18 wonderful years each. While I no longer have cats of my own and really miss having them around, I truly enjoy spending time with them and would love to care for yours while you’re away. My calm and patient demeanor tends to work especially well with cats, including shy cats, senior cats, and multi-cat households. I’m happy to provide drop-in visits to make sure your cat is fed, comfortable, and getting a little companionship while you’re gone. Our household currently has a 6-year-old Pomeranian, so animals are still very much a part of our daily life. I’m also available for dog walks and enjoy getting outside for a good walk with energetic pups. I treat every pet like they’re part of the family and will make sure you receive updates and photos so you can relax while you’re away. Please contact me if you would like to set up a meet and greet. My husband Michael and I both have always worked from home with flexible schedules so we have plenty if time to entertain and care for our and your pets. We have a fenced in back yard and live 1.5 block's away from Kenilworth Park which has a beautiful glen where we take our dogs. We will never leave them outside unattended or off leash unless requested. We accept puppies up to 20lbs and dogs up to 35lbs.

About: I am passionate about the happiness of pets and their well-being. I am diligent about rewards based training. I have cared for 8 week puppies on up to my 15 year old senior dogs. I currently work Monday-Friday 5:15am-1:45pm. I am available between 2pm-3:45 weekdays and all hours on weekends. I am flexible on rotating Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have rotating weeks where I am available for extended hours those days. Prefer to dog-walk or drop-in immediately after work. I give pets the utmost love and attention. I love play time if the pet is into it, as well. Outdoor time if that is preferred with dogs if your dog enjoys walks, sniff-abouts, or fetch.

About: I grew up with golden retrievers and treat my pets as my family. Know that your pup will be treated just like my own! My husband and I do this so someone is home with the dogs all day long. We have 3 little ones that love to go on walks and the park. Your dog gets to be their best self here and learn how to run with the pack. Lots of cuddles and belly rubs will be given with plenty of couch space and beds/blankets to nap on after hours of playing. We would love to have your doggo join the pack and have a fun vacation while you are away, even if it’s just a workday. We understand it can be a stressful time when you have to separate from your loved one; we will respect your pet, provide lots of high quality pictures, and treat them like family. I’m up at dawn with the dogs and go on walks/outings throughout the day. My husband works from home and I work evenings. I love going to Sellwood Park, Westmoreland, or Woodstock parks. I live in a secure apartment building with my husband and three little dogs, so we go on walks to the near by parks pretty frequently. If I’m coming to a client’s home, I can do house visits, go on walks, or take them to a dog park/hike.

When caring for pets in either my home or a client’s home, my priority is helping them feel safe, comfortable, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I start by learning about each pet’s habits, personality, and needs... feeding schedules, exercise routines, favorite toys, medications if needed, and anything that helps them feel secure. Some pets want lots of playtime and stimulation, while others prefer calm companionship, and I adapt my care to what makes them happiest. In a client’s home, I’m very respectful of both the space and the pet’s routine so things feel familiar while you’re away. For pets staying with me, I create a calm, cozy environment with plenty of attention, affection, and supervised play. I also believe communication is really important, so I send regular photo updates and messages so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away. My goal is always for you to come home to a happy, relaxed pet who felt well cared for the entire time. 🐾

About: Pets are family; I’d 100% fight a crocodile for my cats!🐊 I offer drop-in visits for cats, any kind of birds, be it 🐓 chickens, 🦆ducks, 🦜parakeets, etc., and 🐕small dogs; walks also available. Service area near Woodstock (4 or so mile radius). Maybe you also have some other small critters like 🐹 hamsters, just let me know! I usually get around by electric scooter to stay eco-friendly, but I’ve got backup options like a bike or car if needed. I’ve had cats (and many other creatures) my whole life, and I was a volunteer cat socializer at the humane society. I’ve cared for pets with all kinds of needs; from rescues to seniors on medication and I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine. Whether they need meals, meds, playtime, or just some company, I’m here to help. I know how much they mean to you; because mine mean everything to me. Please send requests between 6 am and 11 pm. Please be aware that any requests received after 11 pm will not be seen or answered until the next morning. Thank you kindly! I have a flexible schedule and can usually accommodate drop-ins throughout the day. I stay local and build my time around the pets I care for. For safety and planning, I ask that all clients upload a photo and basic info about their pet before booking. I follow your instructions closely, give pets space to warm up if needed, and always keep things calm, clean, and consistent. Their comfort comes first.
