About: 🔆 Getting started on Rover! Rates currently reduced! I have a lot of experience around animals of all kinds! I've checked in on cats and dogs during vacations, walked people's dogs, and have experience volunteering as a dog walker for a rescue. Your pet is a part of your family, and deserve to be treated with respect and care, as well as have fun! I'm currently available most times of the day and most days of the week, leaving me plenty of time to help take care of your furry friends! 🔆 Trust is incredibly important when it comes to who you have around your home and taking care of your pets, and I take that trust seriously. Safety is my highest priority when working with animals, and I take the responsibility of a caretaker seriously.

About: I’ve taken care of many different kids of dogs and cats! My family currently has a puppy so I have experience with all different ages. I can adapt to whatever your pet needs! I am currently working part time but don’t have a super regular schedule. I will have plenty of time to play with your pets. I am happy to take your dog on leashed walks or crate them at times if wanted. I love to play with pets but I can also have chill time with them if that’s their style!

“Tanja took our dogs for walks while my partner was out of town and I was working long days. Loved that she took pics of the pups with the walks. The Rover card updates are great. Would keep choosing Tanja for to help with our dog's care.”

“Tommy is awesome. My dog loved him immediately and he really connected with her right away. He is clearly very experienced with dogs and even with my dog’s challenges with manners, she was in tune with him from the first meeting. He communicates with me very often and gives great feedback. I am delighted to have found him to walk my pittie mix. You should definitely ring him up if you need an outstanding walker for your pups.”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
About: I used to work at a dog rescue, and I have experiences with all kinds of pups, from tiny chihuahuas to big pitties. I love them all. I recently lost my 16 year old rescue dog, Spike, and I miss being around animals. I’m experienced with special needs dogs, senior dogs, and with administering medication. Your dog will be in great hands with me! I work from home the majority of the time, and my husband (who is also a huge animal lover) has flexible hours as well. Therefore, someone is typically home and able to walk/feed/play with your pet during the day. I have a fenced yard and a small doggie door as well. I’m happy to accommodate your pet with whatever they need so that they feel right at home when you’re gone. They’re welcome to sleep in bed with us, in their own bed or crate, or whatever you/they prefer. Let me know more about your pet’s typical routine and we’ll go from there!

“Lucinda filled in for 3 days as a dog walker for my furry-faced chihuahua daughter. She showed patience and kindness to a somewhat skittish pup. I felt confident that she would provide the care my pup needed while I worked long days in medicine. I would not hesitate to hire her again or to recommend her.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Sellwood-Moreland
I reached out to Emma to help me out with my two labs after I had knee surgery. Not onlwas she understanding and worked with me when it got postponed and I had to cancel and reschedule everything. She also brought to my attention that I was being double booked which equals to begin double charged. I was completely unaware of this and could not fine on Rover where it was. Long story short she took care of it and I was refunded by rover. Now to the pup's. She's been walking them for awhile now. They love her. When they return from their walk they are happy and thirsty. We appreciate Emma so much!

10/10 Colby is the best! He's extremely reliable, trustworthy, and is the sweetest to our pup, Heidi! She absolutely LOVES when Colby comes over for walks and is sad when he leaves, which is actually the greatest praise ever :D And we have dozens more walks planned ahead already. We highly recommend him for your pup care and walks!
