“Tommy has been excellent with my dog! It’s obvious he really cares for animals and he’s been super professional, detail oriented and quick in communication. We’re lucky to have found him!!”

“I am so happy that I found Atlas! They are reliable, punctual, and truly care about my dog’s well-being. My pup always comes back happy and well-exercised after their walks. Communication is excellent. I highly recommend their services to any pet owner looking for someone trustworthy and attentive!”

About: We are a loving household comprised of myself, my husband, our two kiddos and two sweet hound dogs. Frito is a yellow hound/lab mix who loves to sleep and hang with his family. Bacca is a coonhound with the attitude to match! He likes to express himself often and loudly, but can be a very chill guy once he's gotten his sniffs in. Both are friendly towards all kinds of other dogs. We have experience with dog sitting in our home and we have in the past fostered deaf dogs (through Deaf Dogs of Oregon rescue) while they are found their forever homes. Our house isn't large, but the dogs are basically in charge and we like it that way (they are our kids, along with our human kiddos!) We have a large fenced back yard for the pooches to run in as well. About this sitter: My husband works outside the home and my main job is stay at home mom to my two kiddos (so I'm home a lot!).I love hanging out with my dogs and kids most of the time. We like to hang out in the big back yard. My hubby is a big help with the dogs as well. Why I love dog sitting Both my husband and I grew up loving dogs. My family always had two or three dogs on my parents' 4 acre homestead. We always had big dogs, and a few wiener dogs. They were always part of the family. My husband Justin rescued our late dog Jughead when he was a puppy from a neglectful home, and trained him up to be an awesome dog, who we still miss very much. We adopted our dog Frito together when he was 8 weeks old and he's grown up in our care a very good boy. Our coonhound Bacca is good at very loudly expressing himself (especially when you first meet him!) but he really just wants to be everyone's friend and get pets and okay. About my yard We have a large backyard, about 1/3 of which is covered. The rest is open, with large pine and cedar trees in the back third of the yard near the back fence. We have couches that the dogs often run around, and over when they are playing. There isn't much grass (it won't grow) and the dirt gets a bit dusty when its dry. The dogs like to run, play, and lay out in the sunshine. I am a stay at home mom currently so I'm very flexible with accommodating your dogs needs. I'll be available for drop in visits and walks during the week while my kids are at school, and more often on the weekends if your pet is friendly around children. I have a large fully fenced back yard and two dogs too keep your dog company. I can also easily crate your dog if needed.
“Seth was incredibly patient with my anxious pup who gets stressed around new people. He clearly has a strong understanding of working with dogs and he developed a lot of trust with my dog in a short period of time. His daily updates and pictures were much appreciated. He even did some training with my pup as a way to build trust and confidence in her. We can’t wait to hire Seth again!”

“My puppy loved her, he’s usually super anxious and shy at first but there was no anxiety and left with her like he’d known her. She is super sweet and reliable! Thank you ❤️”

“Kai took great care of my 2 dogs! Took them on a nice long walk, and made sure they had everything they needed. Also, he was able to book on very short notice! Would definitely book another walk with Kai for next time.”

About: I’ve spent lots of time caring for pets with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m patient, observant, and always focused on making pets feel safe and comfortable in my care. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding routines, playtime, and maintaining consistency with each pet’s schedule. I’ve grown up around dogs throughout my life and have done a lot of pet sitting for friends, family, and clients. I also have three cats of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understanding their different behaviors and needs. I’m especially attentive to behavior cues and body language, which helps me adapt to each pet’s comfort level. Whether it’s an energetic dog who needs exercise or a calmer pet who prefers company and routine, I make sure every animal has individualized care and attention. I treat every pet as if they were my own and prioritize clear communication so owners always feel confident and informed. I’m currently completing my senior year of high school online, which gives me a very flexible daily schedule. This allows me to be available for consistent care, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I have plenty of time to focus on each pet’s individual needs and maintain their normal routines so they feel comfortable and cared for! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions closely. I make sure pets are secure, comfortable, and safe at all times by maintaining routines, monitoring behavior, and keeping their environment clean and calm. I’m attentive to doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions, and I always prioritize clear communication with owners by providing updates and photos for peace of mind.
“Liliana is lovely and definitely has a connection with dogs. My little dog Nina doesn’t trust people at all and she immediately liked Liliana. I was tied up when she came to walk Nina and Nina barked and then went out with her without any fuss and without me being there! Liliana is professional, friendly and punctual. HIGHLY recommend!! NOTE: I would hire her weekly but my sister offered to help me - it’s not because Liliana isn’t the best!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my entire life. I started watching neighbors’ pets when they would go on vacation when I was in elementary school. I also have two cats of my own, Lenni and Leo, who I love more than anything. I’ve just moved back home to Oregon to be closer to family. I don’t have a job lined up yet, so my schedule is very flexible. I’d be happy to walk your dog, play with your dog or cat, or even just keep your pet company for a little while. I’m also happy to brush your pet, feed them, or check up on them. My cats are family to me, so I understand how important it is to get the best care for your pets.
About: I am passionate about the happiness of pets and their well-being. I am diligent about rewards based training. I have cared for 8 week puppies on up to my 15 year old senior dogs. I currently work Monday-Friday 5:15am-1:45pm. I am available between 2pm-3:45 weekdays and all hours on weekends. I am flexible on rotating Tuesdays and Thursdays. I have rotating weeks where I am available for extended hours those days. Prefer to dog-walk or drop-in immediately after work. I give pets the utmost love and attention. I love play time if the pet is into it, as well. Outdoor time if that is preferred with dogs if your dog enjoys walks, sniff-abouts, or fetch.

“We had a great experience with Tanja. She was always on time, very reliable, and communicated clearly and promptly before and after each walk. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in good hands. We really appreciated the consistency and care, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“Lucinda made multiple extra visits to my house (outside of scheduled walks) to try & get my very fearful dog to get to know her. She is very patient & understanding, I just wish my dog would be more cooperative! I appreciate how she went above & beyond to try & accommodate my scaredy cat dog. <3”

Sellwood-Moreland dog parents share their Rover experiences
Colby is the absolute best! I was able to get scheduled in with them really fast and get the help I needed with my dog. Its such a relief knowing that they are taking my dog out on those long and late work days when I dont have the energy to take her out on a walk when I get home. Thanks Colby! 10/10 recommend!

Tommy is literally the best dog walker we’ve had! Not only is he so great with my dogs, he has a flexible schedule, is absolutely reliable, and fantastic with communication. He’s also really good at getting really nice pictures of my dogs! He’s very patient with Martin’s behavioral issues, and’s his experience handling difficult dogs really shows. And when Martin had some health issues this past year, Tommy really helped by not only being careful and accommodating, but also watching and observing for changes in Martin’s condition and letting me know when he saw any changes. Tommy is also the only non-family-member I trust to use Soonhi’s prosthetic leg. I highly recommend Tommy, we’ve only had positive experiences with him!

Raven is awesome! She came to meet our pups same day and we booked her for the following two weeks and will continue to utilize her service. Raven sent pictures each day with notes about how the pups did and activities she engaged them with, such as sitting when strollers or runners went by and stopping before crossing the streets. Raven is reliable and friendly and most important we feel great about leaving our two pups in her care.

Megan is great! I have a very reactive/slow to warm up dog and Megan has been patient and kind as he has warmed up. My dogs are also very energetic and needy. I feel at ease knowing Megan will take care of them on their daily walks. Megan always provides detailed notes on how the walk went. Megan is always on time and is very reliable. I would recommend Megan to any friend or family!
