A typical day
My days with pets are gentle and focused on what makes them feel safe, comfortable & Engaged.I adjust to each dog’s personality — whether that means a relaxed walk, quiet companionship, or playful time outside in their yard , their favorite ball, or favorite park or walking path. In Spring & Summer I love dogs who enjoy water play time:) . For cats, I find their favorite toys or chilling spot and engage as I am invited:) Whatever the day, I give every pet one-on-one attention, follow their routines closely, satisfy their energy output needs, and make sure they feel cared for and at ease while you’re away.

I provide calm, attentive care shaped around each dog’s temperament, routine, and energy level. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who benefit from extra movement and outdoor time, whether that means neighborhood walks, time at Sellwood Riverfront, Elk Rock hikes, Mt. Tabor, or any of your dog’s favorite spots. I also have experience with dogs who enjoy water play and understand how to balance activity with safety, pacing, and comfort. My goal is to offer a grounded, dependable presence so pets feel secure, engaged, and well cared for while their people are away.

heather is an excellent care person for dogs. She bonded with my Winnie over several years of pet sitting. Sometimes up to three weeks caring for our home and Winnie and a difficult Siamese kitty. She's compassionate and knows how to handle an anxious dog. I always appreciated her updates throughout our time away. Being able to trust your sitter is priceless peace of mind.
