For dogs who love walks and routine
I provide calm, attentive care shaped around each dog’s temperament, routine, and energy level. I’m especially comfortable with dogs who benefit from extra movement and outdoor time, whether that means neighborhood walks, time at Sellwood Riverfront, Elk Rock hikes, Mt. Tabor, or any of your dog’s favorite spots. I also have experience with dogs who enjoy water play and understand how to balance activity with safety, pacing, and comfort. My goal is to offer a grounded, dependable presence so pets feel secure, engaged, and well cared for while their people are away.

Each day includes regular walks, outdoor time, and activity suited to your dog’s energy level, along with calm time to rest. I aim for a balanced routine that keeps dogs engaged, comfortable, and well cared for.

Heather was fabulous! She stayed at our house with our 4 month old, high energy puppy - and I know he kept her busy! She spent a lot of time taking him on walks, playing with him and redirecting his wild puppy behavior. She was very communicative with lots of sweet updates, and took the time to come meet Ralph and spend time with him before her stay. Our house was left in perfect shape, and our pup is happy and tired. We’ll definitely be asking her back!
Heather is wonderfully kind and attentive! I felt very comfortable leaving her to dog-sit my dear pup at my house. She was communicative and caring, highly recommend and will book again :).
I cannot recommend Heather enough! I was so nervous when thinking of who I wanted watching my 4 mo old puppy, especially because she is in training for service work. It was so clear from our first meeting that Heather was an attentive and caring person. She took the time to come meet our pup (offering to do so twice!) and she really took the time to learn about the training and schedule of our lil gal. During Heather's stay in our home, she was very communicative, sending pictures and updates, which made us feel so at ease. When we came home, we not only had a healthy and happy pup, but small and kind touches all around our home - little flowers found on walks, a vacuumed stairway, a well cared for garden, diligent notes on our pups days while we were away etc. To say that Heather went above and beyond is an understatement. My family will absolutely be keeping her top of mind the next time we need to find pet-care.
Wow! Heather went above and beyond in caring for Jackson today! It’s obvious by the pictures that he loves her and had a great time. Will definitely book again.
Heather was fabulous with Jackson sending lots of pictures and you could tell by the smile on his face that he was one happy camper!

Grounded, attentive care in SE Portland’s most walkable neighborhoods—Sellwood, Woodstock, Inner SE, and along the MAX Orange Line.
