About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: Am I a dog person or cat person? Can't choose, I've grown up around both! In fact, throw in bunnies and reptiles too: you name it, I've trained it. I bring a gentle energy to each and every pet, because just like people, they all have different and unique personalities. I'm currently a college student trying to fill time during the summer. My schedule is beyond free, so PLEASE I would be more than happy to take care of your pet. Routines are essential for pets, and I recognize that! About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.

About: I have helped train and take care of many dogs old dogs that have been on hospice and dogs that are a couple months old. I help with Guide Dogs for the Blind and help train guide dog puppies before they are one. We have a Guide Dog puppy in our care right now so I wake up feed him, potty him and leave for school. Come home potty him sometimes take time to train and walk him and play. I snuggle with my cat and he falls asleep right away in my lap after doing his biscuits. When ever our dogs are in the yard I even though we have a fence make sure they are safe and have gone to the bathroom. Talking and playing with the dogs to make sure they know I am a safe person. Same with cats they can be timid so not rushing to pet or be to close to their safe space. Let them tell me what they need/want.

About: I've had dogs since I was a baby, and have taken care of dogs since I was 9, I have walked neighbors dogs, as well as family and friends dogs. I have taken care of dogs from chihuahua to great dane and have trained all three of my dogs for walking, tricks, and potty training! I also know how to do Cpr on a dog. I am home for the summer as a college student and am very flexible with lots of open dates. I am willing to work out the perfect schedule for you and your dog. I am ok to wake up early in the morning and be there to help your dog in the evenings as well. I will feed, groom, and play with my pets and others that I am caring for. I always make sure to take weather for walking, their behavior, and the clients needs into consideration to make sure my animal is very well taken care of and happy. I am all about safety and responsibility.

About: I have taken care of many dogs, cats, and even sugar gliders! I am very comfortable around animals and have a lot of experience with them! I am working a part time job currently, but can move around my schedule in order to take care of any animals in need! I am available nights and days if needed! I abide by any guidelines given to me by owners, but make sure to add in lots of love for furry friends! I have learned in my own pets experience that the favorite pet sitters are always the ones offering lots of cuddles!
