About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have taken care of many dogs, cats, and even sugar gliders! I am very comfortable around animals and have a lot of experience with them! I am working a part time job currently, but can move around my schedule in order to take care of any animals in need! I am available nights and days if needed! I abide by any guidelines given to me by owners, but make sure to add in lots of love for furry friends! I have learned in my own pets experience that the favorite pet sitters are always the ones offering lots of cuddles!

About: I've grown up with dogs and cats since I was a kid, I love all furry friends and have taken care of all kinda of pets, from young puppies that I helped give birth to, to old senior doggies and everything in between. I can't wait to meet your fur babies! I have an incredibly open summer schedule currently and am open all week for your pet's needs! I can provide all-day care and whatever is needed to fit into your pet's schedule. I have a fenced yard with plenty of property for dogs to roam and explore. I have 3 very skiddish cats that most likely your dog won't even notice. I am able to provide crate training at my house and can fit all of your needs at your house.

About: I’ve cared for and have been surrounded by animals my whole life. I walk dogs on Rover and Wag and have walked a variety of different sizes, energies, and abilities. I’m also an experienced dog sitter, notably one elderly dog with various health issues. I’m a university student home for the summer and loves animals. I’d love the chance to take care of your pets as much as you need me. I will hold the leash firm and make sure I’m aware of the surrounding environment, such as proximity to dogs and humans. Communicating and following up with you after our walks/visits is important to me.

About: I have a very positive personality that I bring out in all work that I do. I am a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with a 3 year old pup of my own—Louie. I have taken care of pets through rover, as well as used it for my own pet care needs. I moved around the Portland area a bit, so I took a break from Rover, but now my life is more settled and I’m happy to take your fur-babies on walks, or drop in! I live in Mountain Park and would be happy to cover any “last minute” dog needs that you have. My schedule will allow for 1-3 walks/drop in visits per day. My most availability is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. I pride myself in being thorough and paying attention to detail. I will follow any and all instructions that you provide. Having a dog of my own, I can supply poop bags and treats if necessary.

I have years of experience walking dogs of all sizes, and am comfortable in my capability to walk large dogs, heavy pullers, etc. I enjoy the gym and love being active, so I'm a perfect fit for high-energy babies who need a little extra exercise! I am also good with anxious or dog-aggressive pups, and can adapt to whatever activity they will enjoy to fit their needs. About: I have owned and cared for many animals over the years. I have extensive experience and I am dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, loved and happy under my care. I am free all day, everyday. I am a university student home from studying animal sciences and would love to get some quality visits in! I don’t offer care at my own home but I am happy to stay or do drop ins at your house.
