She took each of them on a walk every morning, kept them company during the day, and spent the night at our house for their peace of mind (and ours). She coped admirably with an unexpected outbreak of ants in the kitchen that started the morning before we left, and with our inquisitive Shepherd chewing up her sunglasses. In addition, she fed our pet frogs twice weekly and watered our house plants. She sent us daily updates and pictures of the dogs. When we returned home, our dogs were happy to see us but calm and didn't appear stressed in the least. We look forward to hiring Kelly again to care for our dogs.”

About: I have cared for cats and dogs that both required medication, as well as for bunnies, cows, and chickens. I don’t have any specific certifications besides many years caring for different kinds of people and different kinds of pets. :) I currently live in Corvallis Oregon but I work remotely for a biotech startup up in Portland. I have the flexibility to house sit in the Corvallis and the Portland area. Because the family I live with in Corvallis has a car and a dog and no fence, I cannot bring animals to my home, but I can provide care via drop ins and/or house sitting.

I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.
