About: I have owned dogs my whole life and have always been an animal lover. We recently moved back to Portland after 30 years away. Due to travel schedules, for the first time, we can't have a dog! Let me share/spoil yours! I will play, walk, run, play fetch with and cuddle your dog like they were my own. Our home is clean, comfortable and secure. Just waiting for a four-legged friend to visit and make it a real home! It has been such a great experience sharing dogs for the last two years with Rover customers. I follow their normal routines, including feeding, walks, playtime, and administering any needed medications. I love giving pets plenty of affection while respecting their individual needs and personalities. Lena exceeded all of our expectations, providing live in daily dog and house sitting. Our Alaskan Klee Kai Jesse needs lots of attention and daily walking, and Lena took Jesse out for extended walks three times or more daily meeting all of his exercise needs. At our home she played with him keeping him entertained while we were on our vacation. Daily communication via text messaging was especially reassuring for us..... she sent photos and videos as often as we desired. From these images it was clear that our Jesse was having the time of his life! We were 100% confident that our dog was safe, happy and secure while we travelled. When we got home we think it took a day or so for her to get used to us, Jesse misses Lena LOL. Without hesitation we will reach out for her help whenever we need dog/house sitting!

We had an excellent experience with Liz. She had great communication, checked in when she wasn't sure of something, and sent lots of fun pictures. She seemed to really enjoy hanging out with my dog and cat and I felt very comfortable having her looking after them! Would happily book again.
Alisha did a great job looking after my dog Winston at my home for 6 days. Winston can be reactive to dogs and needy (vocal when he wants something), he also loves his routine. She accommodated all his needs. She made sure he had his 2 daily walks, fed him on routine and did some training with him. Alisha sent me daily photos and/or videos of Winston. He was very happy with her. She is a great communicator. She responded quickly before the booking and during her dog sit with Winston. She left my place clean and made sure Winston was put away and ready for his mommy to come home. I highly recommend Alisha. She's gentle and caring with dogs. I hope to work with her again!
