Our home was very clean when we returned from an overseas trip and our numerous plants were well watered. I received frequent check-ins to let me know the dogs were doing well and she left my house clean and tidy. One of my dogs recently had spine surgery and has a long list of restrictions and instructions. jami did a great job with him, following the instructions and making sure he was well cared for. My other dog also requires some special attention and she handled them both so well. I'll definitely be using her again when I travel.”

Our recently adopted bernedoodle takes time to warm up to strangers and Adriana was patient and flexible making the time to really get to know Otis ahead of a trip we had planned. She spent a long weekend at our home and gave Otis her time and full attention, she spoiled him with lots of snuggles, taught him new games and helped him work on his manners. We had a full daily update and lots of photos which was reassuring and made our time away more enjoyable. We came back to an immaculately clean house. Adriana had laundered her bedding and towels which was not requested or expected but most appreciated. For dogs, I offer gentle, reliable walks to help them stay active and happy. I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.

“Our two dogs were instantly at ease with Kelly the moment they met her. She watched our two large dogs (60lb and 70 lb) for eleven days while we were traveling. She took each of them on a walk every morning, kept them company during the day, and spent the night at our house for their peace of mind (and ours). She coped admirably with an unexpected outbreak of ants in the kitchen that started the morning before we left, and with our inquisitive Shepherd chewing up her sunglasses. In addition, she fed our pet frogs twice weekly and watered our house plants. She sent us daily updates and pictures of the dogs. When we returned home, our dogs were happy to see us but calm and didn't appear stressed in the least. We look forward to hiring Kelly again to care for our dogs.”

Cassidy watched my dog Lola for 10 days. She provided daily updates & pictures. She didn’t have any issues taking care of my 65lb Velcro lap-dog, who can sometimes be a handful due to her enthusiasm. She also gave Lola her allergy medicine twice a day. The house was clean & in perfect condition when I came home. I definitely recommend her for house sitting large dogs!
Kristy was kind enough to watch our 2 girls on such short notice. She was super communicative from the start and asked great questions which showed that she cared. The great communication continued throughout the weekend and she was awesome for finding workarounds for walking the two dogs. Our place was left in great shape and she even stripped the sheets without us asking her to. I strongly recommend Kristy for dog sitting!
First time Rover user - We had Al watch our Labradoodle, Koko, for 3 days at our house. Al sent us photo every day which we appreciated as we had never left Kok with anyone other than family before. Koko immediately loved Al and you could see that Al was comfortable around dogs. All was very easy to work with, punctual, tidy and took Koko for long walks. She even brought a flavored dog toy for Koko. We highly recommend her!
Amazingly professional and dedicated sitter. Knowing that she was taking care of our animals and our house really put us at ease and allowed us to fully enjoy our vacation without worrying about our animals at all. Her dog Theo is very sweet and got along great with both my dog and cat. Jessie took my dog to a different park or part of the river every day I was gone. Very professional and dedicated she took her job very seriously and went above and beyond. Highly recommend!
Corinne is incredible! She stayed at our home with our pup for a week while we were out of the country. She was so responsive to messages and sent regular updates and photos of their adventures. The house was spotless when we returned. Our neighbor even commented that she had overheard Corinne “speaking in the kindest tone” to our dog while they were in the backyard. 10/10
Kathryn S was AMAZING!!! (She felt like family immediately when we met her). We are relatively new to Portland, so hadn’t found anyone yet to stay with our 65-pound dog…. Kathryn was like a second “Mom” to our boy—-and sent us updates and pictures daily. We totally enjoyed our vacation worry-free because of Kathryn.
Karla came into our household and quickly adapted to our two dogs and fish tanks. There were some hurdles at first to manage the male dog but she took control and by the end of the sit they were good together. She kept on schedule and kept the house in good condition i asked her to do two errands which she completed perfectly. When she left the house was in good condition. I would definitely hire her again in the future.
Geraldine watched our two elderly dogs for the week and we will definitely look forward to booking her again! Thank you so so much for taking such good care of our gentlemen. It meant a lot knowing we could both leave and that they would be in good hands, well loved, and respected in our absence. Bri was an excellent sitter for our somewhat reactive dog Millie. She handled her with care and assertiveness and kept us updated with photos and messages assuring us we did not need to worry about being away.
