She communicated the day before her scheduled sit and arrived promptly at an agreed upon time. She asked all the appropriate questions about feeding, Dexter's daily routine, and what she could do to keep him comfortable during our absence. Deborah communicated during her sit to let us know that all was well. We returned to a happy dog and a tidy house. Would recommend Deborah and we will be using her services again.”

They took care of my two dogs, Fernando and Dolly, at my house while I was away for 4 days and I could not be more pleased. First and foremost, both the dogs were obviously well cared for and I received photo updates. Turns out that the other sitter cancelling was the best thing that could have happened because Alex is everything I could ever want from a sitter. They were incredibly responsive to my messages, they gave frequent updates throughout the day complete with photos, they administered medication to both my cats, they went above and beyond to even clean up the place while I was away…but most importantly, my boys seemed to absolutely adore them! For dogs, I offer gentle, reliable walks to help them stay active and happy. I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.
“Our two dogs were instantly at ease with Kelly the moment they met her. She watched our two large dogs (60lb and 70 lb) for eleven days while we were traveling. She took each of them on a walk every morning, kept them company during the day, and spent the night at our house for their peace of mind (and ours). She coped admirably with an unexpected outbreak of ants in the kitchen that started the morning before we left, and with our inquisitive Shepherd chewing up her sunglasses. In addition, she fed our pet frogs twice weekly and watered our house plants. She sent us daily updates and pictures of the dogs. When we returned home, our dogs were happy to see us but calm and didn't appear stressed in the least. We look forward to hiring Kelly again to care for our dogs.”

I don’t have any specific certifications besides many years caring for different kinds of people and different kinds of pets. :) I currently live in Corvallis Oregon but I work remotely for a biotech startup up in Portland. I have the flexibility to house sit in the Corvallis and the Portland area. Because the family I live with in Corvallis has a car and a dog and no fence, I cannot bring animals to my home, but I can provide care via drop ins and/or house sitting.

Bri was an excellent sitter for our somewhat reactive dog Millie. She handled her with care and assertiveness and kept us updated with photos and messages assuring us we did not need to worry about being away. After Bri’s sitting, Millie has been more calm and less reactive. We are very grateful for Bri’s help and would highly recommend her.
Kristy was great! She was very responsive and sent us several updates with pictures and videos while we were away. Meaty got to go on little adventures with her every day and when the weekend was over she left our place looking nicer than when we left. Thanks Kristy!
Erika took amazing care of our two high energy/high anxiety GSPs! She gave detailed updates each day and took great care of the house as well, leaving everything spotless for our return. Our dog struggles with walking with strangers but they were patient with her and able to work up to some good walks with her! Frequent pictures and updates helped us know we were in good hands. Jami was great with my dogs. She took away the anxiety I had over leaving my dogs for a week. I received frequent check-ins to let me know the dogs were doing well and she left my house clean and tidy. One of my dogs recently had spine surgery and has a long list of restrictions and instructions. jami did a great job with him, following the instructions and making sure he was well cared for. My other dog also requires some special attention and she handled them both so well. I'll definitely be using her again when I travel.
Rachael was great! At our meet & greet, she was gentle and sweet with our very frail elderly kitties, and we felt they would be in good hands. She was comfortable dealing with our very detailed med and feeding instructions, which can all be overwhelming for some sitters. She left the house clean and was low-maintenance as a sitter, and we greatly appreciated her helping us out in a pinch--we had to book at the last minute and had a lot of uncertainty about our dates, but Rachael just rolled with it all! When we got home, the kitties seemed content and cared for. We will be happy to have Rachael back!
Melissa and Leslie watched our senior Lab for 11 days while our family went on a vacation out of the country. Our dog wound up having some ongoing health ailments and needed to be seen by a vet while we were gone. They handled the situation well and stayed in very close communication so we were up to date and aware of what was going on and how our dog was doing every step of the way. Because of the dedication, love and care of Melissa and Leslie, we were able to have a magical and important family vacation making memories to last a lifetime. They cared for our dog and our family like family and I would definitely use them again to watch our pets. They absolutely went above and beyond. They also left our house clean and tidy and also made up our bed so we could just go right to bed after a long travel day home!
