Al's Furry Pals
One thing I would like to cover beforehand is that I do take public transit. This includes Trimet, Wes, C-Tran, YCTA. I do not take the 1X or 2X and do not go to Salem. I am willing to go outside my provided area so long as the transit systems runs within walking distance (about 1.5-2 miles) and I can make it there and back depending on scheduled route times. Over the years, I have had many wonderful opportunities to work with and help so many kinds of animals! I've lived with dogs and cats, and have worked with and lived with a number of other animals, of all shapes and size. I have worked at the Beaverton Farmers Market at Sit N' Stay for 8 summers ('13-'19 and again '22 after reopening after quarantine) and loved to see all our regulars and new commers! I have worked with my friend in raising 2 Service Dogs and volunteered at the Tigard Animal Hospital in the summer of 2005 and 2007. I have a great base of general knowledge and truly enjoy what I do. I would be delighted to watch your fur babies (and others) in your home. I make every effort to keep you up to date on how your fuzzy family members are doing by offering photo and text updates. (Currently I am not yet vaxxed for COVID but I do intend to be. I will update this once I am.)

I do not offer stays at my residence as it is an apartment with no fenced yard and many rules about animals being on the premises.

First time Rover user - We had Al watch our Labradoodle, Koko, for 3 days at our house. Al sent us photo every day which we appreciated as we had never left Kok with anyone other than family before. Koko immediately loved Al and you could see that Al was comfortable around dogs. All was very easy to work with, punctual, tidy and took Koko for long walks. She even brought a flavored dog toy for Koko. We highly recommend her!
The dogs were very relaxed when we arrived home and the house was tidy. Al put out the trash and recycling and watered as well. Very much appreciated!
Julia was a dream. my 17 year old warmed right up to him. my 2.5 year old was happy and tired when arrived home. House was tidy. A++++++
My pets were happy and relaxed when I returned home. You couldn't ask for a better pet sitter-- right on time, kind to the pets and also took great care of the house!

Julia was absolutely amazing. I was out of town and couldn't get home for 2 days due to weather and flight changes. Julia was able to come over and watch the dogs for 2 days. Even stayed the night which made it easier for my dogs. She was in constant communication and even sent pics with updates. Couldn't ask for a bettet pet sitter for my 2 dogs. She absolutely went above amd beyond, I don't know what I would have done without her help. As they say 10/10, would highly recommend!

Schedule
As this is my only job I am available for 24 hr care for most stays. The only times I may be away is if I already had an appointment or prior engagement that cannot be rescheduled. Sometimes I can reschedule or move things around.
