About: I’m very comfortable with animals as I grew up taking care of our family dogs and cats and now have a Border collie of my own. I work from home full time and have plenty yard space (fully fenced) for the fur babies! My dog is friendly yet adventurous so I make sure to keep my home dog safe and my job gives me the flexibility to give them extra attention and care. Choosing to host small dogs since my dog does well with small dogs in his home Since I work from home, I am available M-F all times. If I need to step away, my house is large enough to keep your dog and my dog separate from each other for safety. I will be available most weekends as well unless I’m out of town I have a fully fenced yard and a park nearby where I can walk the dogs. My work from home job is flexible and allows me to step away as needed.

Damon has now cared for our dogs 3 times, including two boarding stays, and we honestly couldn’t be happier to have found him! He was our first experience using Rover for boarding, and before our first 8-day trip, he recommended a daycare session so he could get to know our dogs and make sure everyone would be comfortable with a longer stay. We really appreciated Damon taking the time to make sure it would be a good fit for everyone, especially since one of our dogs has higher needs. When we pulled up to Damon’s house for their most recent stay, our dogs ran out of the car to get inside! It’s so obvious how much they love being there, and they clearly adore Damon, his wife, and their dogs. During their stays, Damon keeps us informed with great pictures and videos, and we love seeing the updates of Baxter getting his cuddles with Damon, Ollie playing with his new friends, and everyone snuggling on the couches. They get plenty of walks, outdoor play, attention, and lots of spoiling. We completely trust Damon with our dogs and genuinely love having him as their second home! We feel incredibly lucky to have found Damon and his family. Knowing our dogs are somewhere safe, happy, loved, and genuinely excited to be makes leaving them so much easier. We couldn’t recommend him more!
Our Bellatrix is very nervous, but seemed to do well with Michelle! She was able to adjust, and seemed happy in all of the updates that Michelle sent! As a first time dog mom of a nervous baby, I really appreciated all of the photos, videos, and updates we received throughout bellatrix's stay!
Our nervous Aussie Labradoodle was did great boarding with Peter. She ate her food, slept and took her meds without freaking out. We were sure, as a veteran, Peter could handle her if she did freak out. She felt safe enough to stay calm with him. We’ll definitely ask Peter to board her the next time we travel.
Cheryl was absolutely wonderful with Baxter! She took such great care of him, made sure he got plenty of exercise and playtime, and has a great yard where he could run around and play with her dog. She also sent us lots of updates and photos, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. We could tell that Cheryl genuinely cared about Baxter and made him feel loved, comfortable, and right at home. We’re so grateful we found her and would absolutely have her watch Baxter again! ❤️
We were so grateful to have found Natasha! She took the best care of our little, old pup. Our shy/nervous dog needed a quiet home without other pets where she could have some one-on-one love while we were away and that’s exactly what she got. Natasha took her for lots of walks and kept us in the loop with how she was doing each day. We would most definitely use Natasha again!
Kathy and Ryan were great with Pia and sent lots of cute photos and updates while I was away. I also made a mistake and booked the pickup for a day before I actually got home 😅 They were super kind and gracious and allowed me to extend her stay for another day. Mariia was wonderful! Our anxious boy has never been away from his family for more than a few hours. We had a family emergency in another state and had to unexpectedly leave for 5 days. Mariia was very kind and our dog loved her. She got back to me within a few minutes and made the experience very easy. This was really appreciated because we were already dealing with a lot. She sent multiple pictures and messages throughout his stay. This helped our family see how well he was doing. She was also flexible when our pick up time changed. She even washed his doggy bed! Highly recommend her and will definitely book her again!
Abe took really good care of my Teddy. Made sure he got plenty of exercise and such. They went on so many walks and it looked like Teddy had the time of his life! We felt like Moose was in excellent hands with Nicole from start to finish! This was the longest time we’ve left Moose with someone else, and felt reassured she was in Nicole’s care. Her communication was wonderful from inquiry to pick up, she sent daily thorough updates, is clearly experienced with rescue dogs, and Moose was confident and happy in the company of her dog Lola. Would 100% recommend.
