She also kept us updated on the one day that she came a little later than usual so that we wouldn't worry if we didn't get a report at the usual time. Finally, she kept in touch with us as we made the long journey home to ensure that Holly would be cared for until we got home, and left a light on for us since we were going to be arriving late at night! I will definitely request Mary Anne again the next time that we need a sitter.”

About: Me and my mini-schnoodle love all dogs big and small! I’ve raised Harper from 8 weeks old and also have looked after my brother’s pit-bull mixes for the past 4 years, so I have experience with puppies and adult dogs. I am new to the Portland area and would love to meet some new furry friends! Happy to check in on your dog or take them for a walk. Whatever you need to feel peace of mind that your dog is happy and healthy while you are away or working. My home caters to hypoallergenic dogs only. So if you have allergies and need your dog to come home just as clean as when they arrived, this is the place for you! Happy to provide daycare and boarding. If your dog is not hypoallergenic, I’m happy to drop in at your house or take them for a walk! I am currently have a lot of flexibility so long as I have a bit of a heads up about when you’re needing to schedule! Weekdays are more consistently free but don’t hesitate to ask about a weekend. I’m happy to accommodate however you feel most comfortable for me to enter your home and check in. I’ll always let you know when I’m on my way, send some pics of your pup, and when I’m headed out.

About: I grew up with cats and at the age of 23, I adopted my first dog. Bub was an 8-week-old ball of energy and loved most things except being left alone and being kenneled. This always left me very limited options for care. I wanted someone I knew would love him, be patient with him and keep him safe. I know the anxiety that comes with leaving your baby at home while you're away. If you'll let me, I'd love to help relieve some of that stress by hosting your baby during the time you're gone. Obviously, I won’t be you but, in that time, I’ll love and care for them like they were my Bubby. Your baby wouldn't have to be alone at any point in their stay. Between my working from home and my mother being retired, there's someone always home. I have a fenced yard but I've also come across a houdini or two. Theres a small chance they'd get away from us but just in case, I add a tag to your pups collar while they're staying with me that has my contact information and gps tracking available. We're a pretty calm home, as well, and allow fur babies on all the furniture (if they're also allowed at their own home). We also have extreme respect for any dietary needs and are sure to clarify exactly what kind of treats, toys, and foods your baby can have before ever giving them anything.

“I met Mersal at my local dog park and was impressed with the attention she gave to the dogs in her care. Mersal was not watching her cell phone but interacting and monitoring her dogs. This attention was refreshing to see so I struck up a conversation and took one of her cards it was the best decision I have made in regards to boarding care for my Doberman “Gus”. I recently left Gus in her care for 10 days and was able to vacation with peace of mind, I was sent photos and video updates daily and returned to a happy boy who was much healthier than when I left him “I had been giving him too many chew bones which was upsetting his digestion”.
