“Raven took it slow with Molly on her first visit, gave Molly time to smell things out and wander around the house with her there. Within a short period of time, Molly was all kisses and cuddles with Raven, even got her out for a walk on the first visit. Raven is so patient and calm with hesitant/nervous dogs. She's a bit of a dog whisperer. Molly loves you Raven, looking forward to the next visit 😍”

“This is our second time booking with Tayla and we couldn’t be more happy. She loves our dogs like her own. She even went out of her way to get them treats. She communicates so good and always puts my anxiety at ease being away from our babies. She seriously is the BEST!!!! We loveeee her and so do our babies!❤️🐾”

“Just starting using Rover and Colby, my first time. Impressed by the prompt communication, updates, pictures if my dogs. Also, punctual. Thank you!”

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never let myself go without having a dog. For over 25 years I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments - puppies through seniors, anxious rescues, and high-energy dogs. Your animal is part of my family while they’re here, not just a guest and I genuinely enjoy having more dogs around, as does my dog! I’m in SW Portland with my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Layla, and I provide you with updates so you can actually relax while you’re away. I work mostly from home, which means plenty of outdoor breaks and consistent supervision throughout the day. My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Layla, is two years old, easygoing, and great with all sizes — she just loves having a friend around. My kids (10 and 14) are here half the time and are natural animal lovers, so your pet will have no shortage of company and attention. Every pet deserves to feel safe and at home while their family is away, and that’s what I’m here to provide. I’d love to care for yours.
“Evita was amazing!! This was our first time using rover and she made it a breeze. She was very accommodating to our cat, who can be quite anxious and have an attitude at times. We will be booking with Evita any time we need a pet sitter!!”

About: I've always loved dogs of all sizes and I've been lucky enough to grow up around them. For fifteen years, I have walked, cared for, fed, trained and loved on as many dogs as I could. Whether they're cuddly or prefer their own space, want to play fetch for hours, or simply want a sniff filled walk in the park, I've enjoyed every moment of fur filled love and play. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Saint Bernards and German Shepherds all the way to Pomeranians, Jack Russel Terriers, and all sizes in between. I have lots of experience with walking large and small dogs, whether they be amazing on a leash or like to pull you around at full strength and speed. I also have lots of experience reading canine body language, working with territorial or dog selective pups, even with anxious or high energy pups. I have a very flexible schedule and often I am available on short notice for walks, drop-ins, or short (1-2 nights) overnight stays. Whether your pup just needs a walk while you're at work or they need a friend for a few hours to play and feed them, I will always do my best to be available. I currently only do pet sitting in your pup's home environment, however I find this helps make all dogs much more comfortable when their favorite humans aren't around. I do have a large and very friendly dog of my own, Harley, who would happily join for a playdate if your pup would like a new friend. I will always do my best to take care of your pup just like you do and make them feel safe, loved, and happy.
“When I return from my trip, my kitties are always happy and healthy! During the trip, great communication and cute photos to let me know how it’s going!”

“Emma was amazing! Our cats clearly loved her and she was so great with communicating with us. We felt completely at ease with leaving our cats at home. Would 100% recommend Emma!”

About: While I don’t currently have any pets of my own, I have experience dog sitting for family and friends pets. I work from home and am able to take your furry friend out and about for potty breaks throughout the work day. After work I love taking long walks through the city and I can’t wait to have company if your pet is up for it! Dogs have been a part of my life since I was little and I have always consider them family. Pets are encouraged to snuggle up next to me on the couch while I’m working and in bed for the night. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry companion! I am a work from home gal who is able to take your pet out for frequent potty breaks. I am available for care 7 days a week. I live in an apartment but indoor play and long walks are a specialty of mine. Dogs can expect unlimited cuddles and walks to burn energy.
“Carmen was a great petsitter for my cat while I was gone for the weekend! She sent lots of pictures and was really easy to communicate with and quick to respond to texts. I would definitely book with her again!”

“Molly took great care of Luca during her drop in visits. She noticed that Luca was feeling lonely without her human family. In addition she would bring in any packages that were delivered.”

About: At home, I have two dogs. A shih-tzu, toy-poodle mix, named Auggie, as well as a Bernese Mountain dog, Zoey. These two could not be more different from each other, and yet we make it work! With Auggie and Zoey, I've been able to experience caring for dogs big and small, learning about their differences, their needs, and what keeps them happy. I've also been able to teach them several tricks (always a fun pastime), including using a bell to let me know they want to go outside. My family got them both as puppies, so I also have experience learning to potty train, crate train, and walk on a leash. Teaching a puppy can be difficult, but so much fun. I'd love to take care of your dog(s), and you might come home to them knowing something new! I'm currently home from college for the summer, taking extra classes online, so I will have plenty of time to devote to your furry loved ones! I'm available during the week and weekends, for overnight house-sitting or daily drop-ins. Your pets will not be staying at mine; however, while in your home, I will follow all instructions, take care of the space, and leave it clean. I will send photos daily, if not several times throughout the day, and let you know of any issues or questions the minute they arise. Your pets will have so much attention and care given to them, as well as your home, as I am a guest in the space.
“Erin provided wonderful care for my cats! She has great communication & my babies are lucky to have such a caring sitter. She has a calming and reassuring presence and will win over the shyest of cats. Thank you!”

“Susan did a great job taking care of my cat for two weeks. Lots of communications, videos and photos. I would definitely come again and recommend her!”

“Milo did a great job communicating ahead of the drop in visits and during the drop in visits by providing plenty of notes and pictures. I will happily use Milo again for future cat sitting jobs!”

Southwest Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Erin did a great job taking the best care of my cat Olive! Followed instructions, great communication, took the sweetest pictures, and overall good care of my home when I returned. I would definitely book again with Erin, she was wonderful and Olive definitely warmed up to her quick!

Pretzel is usually a little wary of new people coming into our home, but with Catherine, things seemed to click instantly, which says a lot! We really appreciated the pictures and communication throughout. We couldn’t be happier and look forward to booking with Catherine again!
