“Monday took great care of our beagle, Luka! Sent updates and pics. Luka has separation anxiety so it’s important we find a Dogsitter who is patient and understanding. We highly recommend Monday!”

“Lucinda was great with my labradoodle. I knew my home and my pup were in great hands with her. She is wonderful and I look forward to having her stay with my dog again in the future!”

“Celeste was so kind, patient, and communicative! It was such a comfort knowing my little guy was safe while I was away and I didn’t have to worry. Despite being a shy pup, skeeter wanted to be near her and that doesn’t often happen with new people so a great sign. Thank you so much! We will definitely be repeat clients :)”

“We were on the East Coast and off the grid for much of the week, with home renovations going on at the same time—and one of our dogs is a husky who’d happily take off into the foothills if given the chance. Vince handled everything like a total pro. He’s exactly who you want if leaving your pups stresses you out like it does me. Whatever he’s charging, it’s worth it for the peace of mind.”

“Erika was an amazing pet sitter for our two pups. She sent daily updates with a ton of photos. She was really attentive to my pups and I could tell by her messages that she was really paying attention to their individual needs and she really learned their own distinct personalities fairly well. One of our pups is very wary of new people and even she loved Erika faster than anyone else she’s ever met. Our pups had epilepsy and she was very mindful to keep an eye on her and she was very communicative around things she noticed around her. Unfortunately, our pup did end up having a seizure while we were away but I am so glad we had someone like Erika who was able to stay calm and give her the meds she needed plus keep an eye out for any secondary seizures (which thankfully never happened). I would highly recommend Erika and we will be using her again. :)”

“Scott took amazing care of my shy lab and crazy cat They both were so happy with him and were well taken care of. I appreciated the regular updates and came home to a clean house and happy animals! I will definitely book Scott again!”

“Tyler is one of the best Rovers I have ever booked! He followed all of my care instructions and kept me updated on how the dog was doing. The photos he sent me made me feel at ease. I will definitely book him again!”

“Another exceptional experience with Sparkle caring for Carlos & Kihei. Carlos adores Sparkle. He gets plenty of exercise & so many loves. Even the elusive Kihei loves Sparkle. We get plenty of photos & updates. And the house is always absolutely tidy. It’s great to come home from a trip & not have to worry about cleaning up the house. Thank you Sparkle 💖”

“Ann was great to work with. She clearly has an understanding of the process and knew how to keep things both friendly but also efficient. We will definitely reach out to Ann again.”

“Shannon was great with our 5-month-old Border Collie puppies for a 3-day house/dog sit. They are a handful, and both dogs and house were in great shape, upon our return. Shannon is punctual and a solid communicator. Highly recommended.”

“Absolutely amazing! Showed up for an emergency sitting and then went above and beyond. Very communicative, sends lots of pictures and videos, followed all instructions. Would book again 100%”

“Elizabeth always does such a fantastic job caring for my kitties and I appreciated that she was flexible in connecting with another Rover sitter since my away time had to be accommodated by not just one, but two Rover sitters! I already have her booked for another sit later in the month. She is very attentive and communicative and I know my cats are receiving the best of care. She gives me great peace of mind when I leave town and does such a wonderful job.”

“Michael is so awesome!!!! My fiance and I booked a trip for a concert, and didn't realize our hotel did not allow pets unattended and had decibel alarms. He seriously saved the day. I booked VERY last minute (8 hrs prior to sitting, and brand new to rover). Michael responded extremely quick with very clear communication. Brownie points for the bathory shirt for sure. My pup is anxious and hasn't had to stay with a stranger like this and he seemed to do great w Michael. We got plenty of updates, and again super clear communication about our pup! He really did so amazing and we could tell our lil guy was happy after being in his care :) THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!”

“Meagan was great! It was a last minute booking during a holiday week and she just jumped right in. Poppy was feeling pretty spirited and Meagan was able to calm her down, get a harness on her. , and take her for a walk. Also, great communication!”

“Susan is such an amazing pup sitter! I was able to be away from my pups for a full week and knew they were in good hands so I never had to worry. She is communicative and sends regular updates and pics, and is very interactive with my cuddly fur children :). The pups are so comfortable and happy with her!”

“Our dog Harley is leash reactive, so we always think about that before getting a dog sitter for her. We’ve booked Chardonay multiple times, and we feel so comfortable leaving our dog Harley with her!”

“Lynden was wonderful and my pets were very happy when I got home. I especially appreciated that she took Kirby for a run… Kirby loves to run, and I am sure Lynden was faster than me. Definitely will have her back!”

“Ashlyn was great! She was super communicative and punctual. I had a VERY last min overnight sitting request and she was as on it no problem. She left my home clean and tidy and took excellent care of my old giant breed pup. I would totally recommend her. Thanks Ashlyn!”

Southwest Hills pet parents share their Rover experiences
Zoe was wonderful with the dogs ! She was organized, friendly with them (they thought their aunt was visiting)! And she was extra smart in the sudden heat and left ice cubes in their water bowls when she got in from their early morning or evening walks. Her organization, cleanliness, Dog sense, and thoughtful aware help were so appreciated. Highly recommended will definitely use her again if she is available. Great with our two middle anged annd older dogs.

Yana is such a great sitter! Came through last minute (thanks again!) and was incredibly professional, communicative & thoughtful. Our puppy warmed up to her right away, which is always a good first sign. Super excited to have her help again, I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

TL;DR: Capable, punctual, reliable, communicative. Noah made me feel very at ease leaving my babies. My previous sitter retired and I had to do the challenging task of finding someone new. I have a small terrier who is easy. But, I have a 92lb mastiff puppy who’s afraid of everything and very strong. He made great efforts to get in her good graces. I was initially concerned how she’d react to a male but he was by far the quickest to earn her trust of all the interviewees. He stayed at my place for 4 days and 3 nights and when I returned, my babies seemed healthy and happy and no worse for the wear. Aside from taking great care of the pups, Noah was communicative, flexible, and pleasant to work with. He left our house it perfect condition. I highly recommend him with the exception that I don’t want to have to compete for his time!

We had several schedule changes leading up to our dates, and she was incredibly accommodating and flexible throughout. Communication was prompt, clear, and professional every step of the way. We really appreciated how easy she made everything and would happily book again! Pretzel will be thrilled to go for a run with Catherine.

Madeline could not have been more excellent! I felt so comfortable leaving my cat Sunday and apartment in her hands while I was out of state for a week. She made sure to send me pictures and updates daily and left the apartment clean upon my return. She was professional, kind, and loving to my cat! I will definitely book her again in the future!

Madison stayed at my home with my cat for a couple of days and was a wonderful sitter; she asks all the right questions and really goes the extra mile to understand your pet’s unique needs and preferences. I came back from my trip to a happy and relaxed kitty and a clean house, and am looking forward to booking her again!

This was my third time booking with Jordan C, and once again, he exceeded expectations. He is consistently professional, reliable, and incredibly attentive. Jordan C took amazing care of Kitty Kitty and kept me at ease by sending multiple updates with photos of their walks and downtime together at home. It’s clear that he genuinely cares about the pets he looks after, and that level of attention makes a huge difference. On top of that, he left my place just as clean and organized as I left it, which I really appreciate. I’m so grateful to have found Jordan C on Rover. If you’re reading this review and considering a sitter, look no further—Jordan C is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend!
