About: I had an opportunity to get to know and build relationships with several of the doggy regulars (and their parents) who frequented the coffee shop I worked at for several years! I feel lucky to be the one a handful of them trusted enough with their animals while they were away. I understand that your pets are so much more than just your pets, they are your family! I am deeply passionate about caring for all animals and feel so lucky that I get to build lasting connections with people through caring for their fur babies! I will always do my absolute best to match the regular routines you have created together. & I promise to give the same level of care that your furry family member receives from you when you can’t be there! My goal is always to help you feel at ease while you’re away knowing they’re in good hands + being well taken care of 💖 I’m relocating from Utah to Oregon and will be available to meet you and your pets at the end of May. About: At home, I have two dogs. A shih-tzu, toy-poodle mix, named Auggie, as well as a Bernese Mountain dog, Zoey. These two could not be more different from each other, and yet we make it work! With Auggie and Zoey, I've been able to experience caring for dogs big and small, learning about their differences, their needs, and what keeps them happy. I've also been able to teach them several tricks (always a fun pastime), including using a bell to let me know they want to go outside. My family got them both as puppies, so I also have experience learning to potty train, crate train, and walk on a leash. Teaching a puppy can be difficult, but so much fun. I'd love to take care of your dog(s), and you might come home to them knowing something new! I'm currently home from college for the summer, taking extra classes online, so I will have plenty of time to devote to your furry loved ones! I'm available during the week and weekends, for overnight house-sitting or daily drop-ins. Your pets will not be staying at mine; however, while in your home, I will follow all instructions, take care of the space, and leave it clean. I will send photos daily, if not several times throughout the day, and let you know of any issues or questions the minute they arise. Your pets will have so much attention and care given to them, as well as your home, as I am a guest in the space.
“A pet sitting angel! I was freaking out because of a last minute cancellation from another sitter, but Alex came to my rescue and took over the booking. Turns out that the other sitter cancelling was the best thing that could have happened because Alex is everything I could ever want from a sitter. They were incredibly responsive to my messages, they gave frequent updates throughout the day complete with photos, they administered medication to both my cats, they went above and beyond to even clean up the place while I was away…but most importantly, my boys seemed to absolutely adore them! Madeline could not have been more excellent! I felt so comfortable leaving my cat Sunday and apartment in her hands while I was out of state for a week. She made sure to send me pictures and updates daily and left the apartment clean upon my return. She was professional, kind, and loving to my cat! I will definitely book her again in the future!
Emily has been nothing short of amazing. I have a senior dog who takes scheduled meds, not my apartment isn't particularly low maintenance, and she's been wonderful. My dog loves her, and she sends daily updates. She was thorough in making sure she had everything she needed to care for my baby and my plants and I haven't had to stress a bit while I've been away. Would recommend her a million times over again.
Wonderful amazing human and pet caretaker I am so impressed with how much detail Elizabeth takes care of everything! She made Clauneck feel so welcomed and happy and he gets bad anxiety and she didn’t leave until I got home because he was anxious and she made him so happy the whole time! She made the house cleaner and the cat tree even nicer!!! She added nice touches to make my apartment even better for him a little scratching board too! 10/10 she is worth it and more I’m so happy Eli thank you for EVERYTHING I’m looking forward to future sits knowing I can work and not worry so much about how my cat is feeling while I’m working!
Noah was great with my dog. He showed an understanding of dog reactivity and the methods I use to manage that on walks, and asked great questions during the meet and greet. Being new to Rover, Noah also provided reviews from another platform showing his positive previous experience before I booked with him. He provided daily updates and photos, picked up the mail when I was gone, and left everything in order in the house when my trip was over. I would book with him again.
Erika took great care of my cat while I was away. As always, she spent plenty of quality time with my cat, Mitten, and it was clear how much she enjoys being around her—and my cat LOVES her too! I could tell from all the photos she sent me. One thing I especially appreciate is the detailed daily updates she provides, along with lots of photos. They give me so much peace of mind and allow me to see how Mitten is doing each day. Since I'm away, that's really the only way for me to know how my cat is doing, so I truly appreciate the consistent updates and communication. If I could give Michelle ten stars I would! She helped us out when we were in a bind and was very flexible. She was great with our dog and two cats and provided updates regularly. I could tell our dog was genuinely happy to have her around. And she left our house spotless. Highly recommend!
When you get a pet sitter as good as Jacundo, it makes you want be careful to not let the best kept secret in town get out, so you can can keep him all to yourself. For Jacundo's sake, I won't be shellfish. Jacundo is the most communicative pet sitter we've ever had. Our sweet pups almost love him as much as he loves them... Which is crazy, because anyone who meets them are head over heals for them. We also came back to a cleaner house than we left, which is kind of crazy, because we had just had it cleaned. He works from home so is always giving the pups the attention they deserve and he took them for walks multiple times a day. My one qualm is how jealous I get when I receive all the pictures of them snuggling up to him.
Emily was fantastic! She came to meet our puppy, connected with our puppy quickly, and asked great questions about her care. Emily is personable, clearly loves animals, and had great communication both in setting up the booking and while we were away. She sent cute pictures to let us know how each day went and Emily was flexible when the dates changed during our trip. Thank you Emily!
