About: I've spent all of my life growing up with animas like dogs and cats. They have always brought me a ton of joy, so I am really excited to be given the opportunity to take care of them for people and provide them with a loving and safe environment. While I do not have major practical experience working with animals in an environment like a shelter or clinic, I have run a neighborhood dog walking business, and have always been trusted to watch animals for friends and families. If you are looking for animals to be trained, then I wouldn't be a great option. But if you are just looking for someone to take care of your animal for a few days and to show them a lot of love and attention and to keep them safe, then I truly think I would be a great option. I currently work part time, so I can always maneuver my schedule to fit whatever needs people have for their animals so that way I am always there to be with them. I do live in an apartment, but it haas access to outside areas with parks and walking paths. I like to spend a lot of time outside, whether that's going on walks or just relaxing, so the animals with me will honesty spend a lot of time outside of the house getting to have fun. Being cooped up inside I personally don't believe in for animals, so I think they will have a great time accompanying me outdoors

About: I've had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a big part of who I am. I'm comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, and I enjoy getting to know what makes each one unique. I also have experience caring for senior dogs and dogs with behavioral challenges, thanks to my own now-reformed former troublemaker, Lycan, my 11-year-old Boxer. Working with him taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding, and those are qualities I bring to every dog I care for. Dogs love punctuality. My dog needs three walks a day, and he is my alarm, waking me up for his walk before work with a not-so-gentle cry. My schedule often shifts to adapt to his needs, either by canceling a hike because he's not feeling it or postponing a walk because it's raining. I'm dedicated to any pets in my care. I live in an appartement. With my wife and my dog. We have a pretty spacious patio but a not so spacious appartement. So my dog gets his excercice in the nearby park and on bis weekly hikes. Our living space is safe and organized to facilitate the care for any visiting pet

Kerian was fantastic! She took great care of my big Irish Wolfhound baby and taught him so many things! She was very patient and sent me lots of photos, videos and a great summary of things I could reinforce with him at home. It is always hard to leave a pup with someone and I’m so happy I chose her. She is very skilled, flexible, gentle and caring! I was hoping for him to be well cared for and I got this and so much more!
Taylor is a great sitter! We needed our pups to be watched overnight and received sweet updates on how our girls were settling in, particularly our Velcro dog who doesn’t like it when we’re out of her sight. She even gave us a spare snuffle puzzle mat she had for Fable since she loves them, and without something to slow her down she eats too quickly. I was also relieved Taylor wasn’t fazed with Fable’s pulling or husky-whining at other dogs. Thank you for taking such good care of our girls!
Brittany is wonderful! I had to do a last-minute booking, and thankfully she was available. It was just one night, but I hadn’t had to leave my little girl in a long time. Gigi is a little love bug Chihuahua, and just wants love and cuddles. I think she got just that! I received lots of pictures and updates, and I could tell Gigi was well taken care of. Gigi now has a new friend, and I have somebody I can call who I trust with Gigi’s care. Thank you!!
We had Evita watch our Frenchie, Phoebe, for a full week, and she did an amazing job. Phoebe needed a few days to adjust and even had a more than a few accidents, but Evita handled it with total patience and grace. She sent frequent photo updates and was in touch constantly, so we never had to worry. Highly recommend Evita to anyone looking for a reliable, caring dog sitter!
From our first meet and greet through his first stay with Dylan, our rambunctious adolescent boy Lowell was in excellent hands. Dylan kept Lowell busy and happy and kept us informed with frequent photos and videos. He even spent some time working through some training exercises! Since this was Lowell's first time with an unknown sitter, I was anxious. Dylan's calm and confident nature put me completely at ease. I feel confident that we'll reach out to Dylan whenever we need a sitter again.
Rebecca is hands down the best dog sitter I've had on Rover. From the first time I reached out, she was responsive, communicative, and kind, which was great because my wife and I were going out of the country for 12 days, and we were nervous about leaving our stubborn 5 yr old French Bull Dog. In general, Benny is great, but in the past he's got anxiety when we've left, and he's acted out and done things out of character (peeing in the house, etc.). But from the moment, I dropped Benny off to stay with Rebecca, I knew he was in good hands. She is warm and kind, and has an effortless way with dogs that allowed us to dive into our trip to Greece and not look back. We got consistent updates that put us at ease and enabled us to fully enjoy our time away. I could tell in every picture we received, that Benny felt happy and safe, and he wasted no time at all making himself at home, and doing his normal French Bulldog things. Towards the end of our trip, it became clear that Benny was going to run out of food (I'm not good at math and didn't send him with enough), and Rebecca went above and beyond to make arrangements with my mother who was staying at our place watching our three boys. When I went to pick him up after nearly two weeks, it was clear that he didn't want to leave, and I think that truly says it all. I highly recommend Rebecca and will have Benny stay with her whenever she will take him.
Megan and Ryan were incredibly kind, responsive, and caring with our Rosie. They kept us updated with regular messages and pictures and were genuinely concerned about her well-being, especially as her health has been declining. They provided excellent care and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We are so grateful for their compassion and attention to Rosie. I highly recommend them if you want someone you can truly trust with your pet!
