Now booking for the holiday season! Limited spaces available! 🦃🎄🎇 My first job over 15 years ago was a part time dog bather for my mother who is a seasoned dog specialist. I am a recent OSU grad with a degree in Psychology and a background in Gerontology that includes several years of clinical healthcare experience. In summer of 2022, I made the switch from patient care to pet care, bringing with me six and a half years of experience as a hemodialysis technician which taught me calm problem solving skills, strict attention to detail and cleanliness, and most importantly a strong sense of compassion that I bring to every dog I care for. All dogs under my care get personalized attention, stimulation and love catered to their individual needs. I have often been labeled a dog wizard, guru, whisperer, etc. by colleagues and clients. What separates me from the rest is my vigilance and understanding of your dog's behavior and mannerisms which allows me to go the extra mile. As my boys Moose and Neo get older, my environment is becoming most suitable for dogs with lower to moderate energy and dogs who have good self regulating skills and awareness of social cues.

Damon has now cared for our dogs 3 times, including two boarding stays, and we honestly couldn’t be happier to have found him! He was our first experience using Rover for boarding, and before our first 8-day trip, he recommended a daycare session so he could get to know our dogs and make sure everyone would be comfortable with a longer stay. We really appreciated Damon taking the time to make sure it would be a good fit for everyone, especially since one of our dogs has higher needs. When we pulled up to Damon’s house for their most recent stay, our dogs ran out of the car to get inside! It’s so obvious how much they love being there, and they clearly adore Damon, his wife, and their dogs. During their stays, Damon keeps us informed with great pictures and videos, and we love seeing the updates of Baxter getting his cuddles with Damon, Ollie playing with his new friends, and everyone snuggling on the couches. They get plenty of walks, outdoor play, attention, and lots of spoiling. We completely trust Damon with our dogs and genuinely love having him as their second home! We feel incredibly lucky to have found Damon and his family. Knowing our dogs are somewhere safe, happy, loved, and genuinely excited to be makes leaving them so much easier. We couldn’t recommend him more!
Damon is the best and I am super grateful for all of his thoughtful care of our dog while we had to leave her for an extended stay. I was a bit nervous to leave her for so long because we had just really gotten her comfortable from the shelter but there was zero need to worry because Damon is fantastic. He has a true connection with dogs and you can tell by all the smiling doggo pics that they are all very much at ease and having a great time with him! Thanks Damon!
Damon did a wonderful job looking after Rocky! He kept us constantly updated with photos and messages about their activities. Since our puppy had a foot injury, Damon went above and beyond to provide extra attention, which gave us complete peace of mind. We definitely look forward to having Damon as our dog sitter again!
This was our second week-long booking with Damon and I could not recommend him more. We left town knowing our pup was in great care, Damon sent us photos and videos every day to keep us updated on how she was doing. We'll continue to have our pup stay with him for future trips as well. Thank you, Damon!
Damon was awesome! He is friendly, sends you videos and photos of the dogs daily! You can tell he loves what he does. He took great care of our two labs, one is high energy the other not as much and they both got what they needed. We would definitely book Damon in the future!
Damon is a wonderful sitter and handled my two dogs with such great care! They had a great time and came thoroughly exhausted and happy. We got videos and photos throughout the day which was awesome. Your dog will be super cared for and in great hands with Damon! I highly recommend him.

Dog care is now my full time gig, making your pup my priority at all times. While pursuing my degree through the university's e-campus, I was able to create, develop and maintain lifelong bonds with many clients who I still care for today.

Safety, trust & environment
Every dog in my care enjoys a safe, clean and welcoming environment. I have a large, fully fenced backyard and nearby walking trails and parks, giving dogs plenty of room and opportunity to explore, play and exercise safely. Extra adventures are an integral part of my care at no extra charge whether that be an excursion to a park, a round of disc golf, a hike or a coast day. I keep pet owners fully informed and take pride in sending high quality photo and video updates so you can see that your dog is receiving an adequate balance of socialization and rest. Meal times are monitored and done separately to prevent any food aggression or thievery. Dog poop is picked up periodically throughout the day to prevent transmission of disease. Safety checks around the yard are completed daily to prevent any curious noses from getting into things that might harm them. No puppies or dogs under 1 year old. No extra large dogs over 100 lbs. No dogs with history of aggression or destructive tendencies.

A typical day
Your dog deserves a vacation, too! A typical day includes structured and monitored play time, walks, and downtime tailored to each dog's personality, needs and energy levels. Dogs get plenty of affection, attention, mental stimulation, regimented socialization and love. Everyday is designed to keep your dog happy, healthy and excited to come back! I do not kennel dogs unless requested and provided by the pet owner.

- It helps to know your dog's personality, energy levels, likes and dislikes, daily routine and any special health accommodations or behavioral needs. It's also necessary to share any quirks, allergies, house rules, triggers, habits, etc. Proof of rabies and bordetella vaccinations and flea and tick prevention may be requested prior to an initial booking. Meet & Greets are necessary for a successful relationship between your pet and your sitter. Aside from special circumstances, It is very unlikely I will approve a request before a formal meet & greet. Please address me (Hello Damon, Hi Damon, etc.) in your message for daycare or boarding requests and provide a brief summary of your dog's routine so I know the request was intended for me. If I do not receive this greeting, your request will likely be denied and archived. Thank you in advance!
