My first job over 15 years ago was a part time dog bather for my mother who is a seasoned dog specialist. I am a recent OSU grad with a degree in Psychology and a background in Gerontology and extensive healthcare experience. In summer of 2022, I made the switch from patient care to pet care, bringing with me over six years of experience as a clinical hemodialysis technician which gave me calm problem solving skills, strict attention to detail and a sense of compassion that I bring to every dog I care for. I now run a home-based dog daycare and boarding experience where all dogs get personalized attention, stimulation and love catered to their individual needs. I have often been labeled a "dog whisperer" by colleagues and clients. What separates me from the rest is my vigilance and understanding of your dog's behavior and mannerisms which allows me to go the extra mile whether it is helping shy pups come out of their shells, creating enrichment for higher energy dogs, or adjusting routines for senior dogs. -American Red Cross Dog CPR and First Aid Certified.

Damon is a wonderful sitter and handled my two dogs with such great care! They had a great time and came thoroughly exhausted and happy. We got videos and photos throughout the day which was awesome. Your dog will be super cared for and in great hands with Damon! I highly recommend him.
Damon was awesome! My dog is very large with lots of energy, and I got lots of pictures and videos of him playing with other dogs and having a great time. All the updates were awesome and totally kept me from worrying at all how my pup was doing. He seems like he was very well taken care of and I’ll definitely book Damon again in the future!
I am a fearful pet parent for my little reactive street dog and Damon put us at ease with the time he took for a meet and greet, then booking a day boarding, then an overnight with him before we go away for a week leaving our little guy in his care. I was very hesitant because he has a larger group of dogs, but he is so organized in how he introduces and works with them that our dog came back tired but vey happy. He is super competent, kind and unbelievably NEAT and clean. I couldn't believe he took time to send videos and pictures. this is obviously his superpower. I feel confident in his judgment and his ability to handle anything that comes along calmly.

Damon has been providing weekday daycare for my Golden Retriever, Bekki, for over a year. Damon understands dog behavior and has been incredibly patient and helpful with Bekki's anxiety. She loves her routine with him and she is always calm and happy and tired when I pick her up at the end of the day. Damon sends lots of quality photos and videos and responds quickly and communicates clearly. Damon is reliable and easy to work with. I trust Damon completely and I absolutely recommend his services.
I am so grateful to have found Damon to care for my girl Fiona. She is almost 14, blind, and diabetic, so I was nervous when my schedule changed and I was needing to find a daycare solution for her. I feel so comfortable dropping her off with him. I know that she will be well taken care of and he will quickly communicate any concerns.

Schedule
Dog care is now my full time gig, making your pup my priority at all times. While pursuing my bachelor's degree through the university's e-campus, I was able to create, develop and maintain lifelong bonds with many clients who I still care for today.

Safety, trust & environment
Every dog in my care enjoys a safe, clean and welcoming environment. I have a large, fully fenced backyard and nearby walking trails and parks, giving dogs plenty of room and opportunity to explore, play and exercise safely. Extra adventures are an integral part of my care at no extra charge whether that be an excursion to a park, a round of disc golf, a hike or a coast day. I keep pet owners fully informed and take pride in sending high quality photo and video updates so you can see that your dog is receiving an adequate balance of socialization and rest. My photos and videos are the best of the best! Action shots, portraits, group photos... the proof is in the pictures in my gallery. Meal times are monitored and done separately to prevent any food agression. Dog poop is picked up periodically throughout the day to prevent transmission of disease. Safety checks around the yard are completed daily to prevent any curious noses from getting into things that might harm them.

A typical day
Your dog deserves a vacation, too! A typical day includes structured and monitored play time, walks, and downtime tailored to each dog's personality, needs and energy levels. Dogs get lots of attention, mental stimulation, regimented socialization and love. Everyday is designed to keep your dog happy, healthy and excited to come back! I do not kennel dogs unless requested and provided by the pet owner.
