With experience caring for a wide variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and even a duck we once saved, I am well-equipped to handle your pet’s needs. I also have experience with senior pets, having helped my partner care for his two senior huskies, so I understand the special care and attention older pets require. At home, I have my corgi, Kento, and my cat, Mila! My two spoiled babies who keep life fun and full of love. Because I work from home full-time, your pet will always have company and care throughout the day. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or a nice walk, I’ll make sure they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved pets!

Jones had a wonderful stay with Vanessa! Her sweet dog Kento was a bonus for Jonesy. Kento is relaxed and patient amd a great companion. Vanessa sent several pictures each day of Jones's stay - so comforting and fun for this pet momma. We'll definitely be back for more fun and care with Vanessa!
Vanessa welcomed Rainbow into her home and made her part of the family while we were out of town for two weeks over the holidays. She kindly oriented us to her neighborhood and home before our trip to make sure it was a good fit. This reduced anxiety for both me and Rainbow when official drop off arrived. Vanessa was in touch with text, pics and videos every day to keep us connected. She and hee husband are both lovely, and we would definitely place our beloved dog in their care again in the future!

Vanessa took great care of my cat! She is communicative and was very respectful of my shy cat's boundaries, sending pics from afar when Lola didn't want to come out and say hi. I highly recommend her services!

Schedule
I work from home full-time from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. so I’m available for drop-ins or walks anytime after 3 p.m on weekdays. During most weekends, I’m generally available throughout the day; however, availability may vary on a case-by-case basis. I also do not own a car so I rely heavily on public transit or walking.

I make sure your pet feels safe and comfy, whether they're at my place or yours. My home is pet-proofed to keep them safe, and I’ll follow any special instructions you give for their care. I keep you in the loop with regular updates, including photos and videos, so you can see how your furry friend is doing. I focus on creating a cozy, enjoyable environment for your pet, sticking to their routines and giving them plenty of attention and love.

A typical day
A typical day with your fur baby is filled with love, fun, and lots of attention! Depending on their energy level and personality, we’ll enjoy activities that keep them happy and engaged. For dogs, that could mean going on walks or visiting parks to explore new scents and sights, playing with their favorite toys, or enjoying some cuddle time with belly rubs. For cats, I’ll make sure they get plenty of playtime with their favorite toys and, of course, lots of pets! Throughout the day, I’ll ensure they have regular breaks, hydration, and treats to stay comfortable and happy. And, of course, there will be plenty of affection to make sure your fur baby feels loved and well cared for.
