Hi, nice to meet you! As a fellow pet parent to a 7 year old German Shepherd mix and an 11 year old cat, I know how much peace of mind it brings to find someone you can truly trust. With over 10 years of pet-sitting experience, my goal is to become your pet’s (second) best friend and make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away! I care for pets of every shape, size, and life stage! Whether you have an energetic puppy or kitten, a sweet senior who needs gentle care, or a three-legged companion with unique needs, I’m happy to adapt to their individual needs. I also have a soft spot for pets who are anxious, timid, or reactive and need a little extra patience. I’m comfortable following detailed routines, administering medications, and giving every pet the time, space, and attention they deserve. My dog occasionally joins me on sits when everyone is comfortable around other dogs, but she absolutely doesn’t have to come along! I always have care arranged for her at home, so I can accommodate whatever setup works best for your pets. My cats acted like I’ve been gone for an afternoon, rather than two weeks. Alexia was kind, communicative, went above and beyond, and I will absolutely be asking her to care for my sweet kitties again and again!
Alexia was great at watching after our dog, she communicated very quickly and was very reliable, and our dog loved her! Highly recommend.

Alexia was very responsive during the coordination & scheduling phase, excellent with communicating updates and asking questions as needed while watching our puppy, and handled our new, energetic puppy very well.
Alexia was very flexible and easy to work with throughout the weekend. The meet and greet with Coy and her dog went great and gave me the opportunity to get to know Alexia and share more about Coy and his routines. The pictures of the hike she took Coy on were greatly appreciated, as were the text updates. My wife and I will definitely keep Alexia in mind the next time we are in Eugene.
Alexia did an amazing job watching both of my dogs. The fact that one of my pups was a young puppy made me appreciate her service even more. She kept sending me updates with photos. I would HIGHLY recommend her to care for your pets. She was extremely professional and super caring. Awesome sitter!

Schedule
I’m currently taking a step back from full-time teaching and focusing on substitute teaching, tutoring and petsitting. This gives me a more flexible schedule, allowing me to plan ahead and make sure your pets get all the attention, care, and consistency they need!

Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each pet and follow your instructions carefully, from feeding schedules and medications to walks, playtime, and their usual routines. I’m especially comfortable caring for anxious, timid, or reactive pets and understand the importance of patience, reassurance, and giving them space when they need it. Whether I’m caring for your pets in your home or mine, I want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, so you can relax knowing your furry family members are in good hands!

A typical day
I love getting to know each pet’s personality and finding what makes them happiest! For dogs, I’m happy to go on walks, hikes, trips to the dog park, or even to the beach or their favorite spots for longer stays. For cats and other pets, I’m just as happy to keep them company at home with playtime, cuddles, enrichment, or whatever they enjoy most. I’m also happy to do drop-in visits to make sure pets feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
