About: We are a highly experienced dog family who has raised and cared for adopted street dogs for the last 15 years. We currently have two old friendly dogs in the house and they both get along great with other dogs and help to create a calm and obedient environment. One of us works from home and the other works part time so there is always someone around to care for your dog! We wake up early (5:30-6:30am), feed the dogs and let them out to the fenced yard. The rest of the day is pretty easy going - a couple nice walks and plenty of time outside and relaxing inside. We have an old dog with lots of medical needs, and we have also had puppies. So we are comfortable with any kind of dog care. We have a kindergarten daughter who loves dogs and knows how to interact with them properly as well.

About: Having grown up on a farm I have been around animals my entire life. My favorite have always been dogs and cats. I have taken animal care and vet sciences in 4H and volunteered in an animal shelter. I can't imagine life without animals, they add so much joy to life. I currently work part time as a caregiver for seniors. Most of my days are 4 to 6 hours long with weekends off. I have a flexible schedule . Since my schedule is flexible I can adjust to you pets needs well so they are being fed and walked at their regular times to help reduce stress.

About: I grew up in rural midwest with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs since I was 9. I was a dedicated and loving dog mama to my beloved bernese mountain dog, Riker, for 9.5 years and I miss him very much. I enjoyed taking my boy to thousand acres, Mt. Tabor, and several other dog parks and we've gone on many hikes on the coast, in the gorge, and in Mt. Hood forest. I have special connections with my friends' animals and I've enjoyed taking their dogs for walks since my boy passed last March. I'm a fourth-year doctoral graduate student at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) meaning my schedule can be pretty flexible. I have two full days of clinic per week and fill the rest of the week with writing and research. When I'm not in clinic I can work with my schedule to take your fur baby on walks, check in on them to let them out, or schedule an adventure! I can also come house sit or invite your pet over for the day or extended stay. I have a fenced in backyard with ample space for throwing the ball or lounging in the sun on a picnic blanket. We also live very close to a park for on leash walks or park hangs. Our fur baby passed in March 2026 but our one-level house is still set up to be accessible with rugs on the wood flooring for traction, plenty of blankets and comfy spots to sleep, and easy access to the back yard (just two steps). We allow animals on furniture but respect your rules if that's a boundary of yours!

I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

Our dog was super happy to spend over a week with them which isn't super common as she is typically a bit nervous about new home environments. Not in this case, she made herself right at home thanks to their welcoming presence and their own pup was the perfect playmate. We will definitely be reaching out to them for future dogsitting needs.”
“Beatrix seemed to have had a wonderful time with Lisa! Lisa was very communicative and even helped out providing her own when I forgot to bring the batch I had premade for B's special food addition, saving me time of having to run home when I had to catch a flight. She provided pictures every day and made sure Beatrix was settled when dropping her off at my home and even sent a video. She checked in with me when Beatrix's arthritis was acting up before giving the "as needed" meds. I will definitely use Lisa again!”
