About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

I’ve been pet sitting since middle school and have cared for cats and dogs with different personalities and needs. I’m calm, patient, and detail-oriented, and I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule. I’m completely free on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and most weekends, with Thursday availability after 5 PM. This allows me to be flexible with walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I enjoy spending plenty of time with the pets I care for rather than simply stopping by, and I’m happy to work around their routines, feeding schedules, walks, and individual needs. My availability also makes it easy for me to provide consistent care and regular updates while their owners are away. I treat every pet and home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions and their pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, medications if needed, and any specific house rules. I’m very attentive to safety and details, and I make sure pets are comfortable, supervised, and never left in an unsafe situation. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they always know how their pets are doing. My goal is for both the pets and their owners to feel safe, comfortable, and completely at ease while they’re away.

About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and absolutely love spending time with them! I grew up with several dogs, including a Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, and Husky, so I’m very comfortable caring for and being around larger, energetic breeds. Growing up with dogs taught me how important patience, attention, exercise, and lots of love are to keeping them happy and comfortable. I currently have two cats of my own, so caring for animals is still a big part of my everyday life. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s individual personality and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while their family is away. I’d treat your pets with the same care and attention I give my own! I currently have a very flexible schedule, which gives me plenty of time to dedicate to pet care throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, and longer stays as needed. Having two pets of my own also means caring for animals is already a natural part of my daily routine! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care, so I always treat both with respect. I’ll closely follow any instructions you provide, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, routines, and household rules. A regularly take care of pets for my friend and neighbors. I have a flexible schedule, so I can be very attentive to your animal. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I am available during the day, evenings, and weekends as well. I have ample time to play with and take care of your animal. I have a large fenced backyard. I have a five year-old English yellow lab and a two year-old orange tabby rescue cat. I am able to separate my pets from yours or they are more than welcome to play together. I am able to crate your pet, if needed.

I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial.
