About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: Naturally gifted at taking care of others, let it be your pup! ♡ I'm very patient, kind, and responsible. That's the bare minimum! Never sell yourself or your dog short. I've grown up with dogs, my family has never NOT had a dog. Dogs will tell you in their own way what they need, and I listen! Extremely responsible, you can depend on me to be on time with your doggy schedule and needs. I'm comfortable with walks, feeding, check-ins! Communicative, just lemme know! I come with a flexible schedule as Im working part-time right now :) Most weekdays I am free for your needs! Weekends mostly late afternoons or nights. Please message me beforehand. I always have my phone charged and on my person, if you wanted updates on your pets or have questions regarding their care. If you have special instructions for how you like your animal to be treated, I'll always adhere to your preferences. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never let myself go without having a dog. For over 25 years I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments - puppies through seniors, anxious rescues, and high-energy dogs. Your animal is part of my family while they’re here, not just a guest and I genuinely enjoy having more dogs around, as does my dog! I’m in SW Portland with my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Layla, and I provide you with updates so you can actually relax while you’re away. I work mostly from home, which means plenty of outdoor breaks and consistent supervision throughout the day. My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Layla, is two years old, easygoing, and great with all sizes — she just loves having a friend around. My kids (10 and 14) are here half the time and are natural animal lovers, so your pet will have no shortage of company and attention. About: Hello! I'm just a natural born animal lover and have been surrounded by them all my life. I have over 15years experience working with animals in veterinary care and have a B.S in Animal Health Sciences. I have had experience with just about every breed and temperament of dog there is. While my passion is for dogs that does not mean I don't also love cats and have never been without one for a pet. My experience also includes caring for reptiles, rodents, pigs and even primates! My most fulfilling work was my time working as an animal health technician in an animal shelter. It brought me pure heartbreak and pure joy. It was so sad to see what conditions brought the animals to the shelter but was also rewarding knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. During my time working in shelters, I gained experience interacting with both shy dogs and aggressive dogs and am comfortable with both. While I've always had pets, I stepped away from working with animals to work in health care some years ago. I really miss the interaction with animals and caring for them. It is my one true passion. I feel I have an instinct into how an animal is feeling and am able to meet that need. I will always make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I'm currently working part-time in health care so have plenty of time open to care for your pet. I mostly have afternoons, evenings and weekends available. While in your home I will take all measures to ensure that your pet is safe and secure. We will leave no doors open and will always have a dog on a leash before walking out the door.

About: Over 20 years of hands on pet care under my belt. I've been the go to walker and sitter for friends, family, and neighbors across Portland. From energetic malamutes who love winter hikes in Forest Park, to chill cats who want a lap and a scratch. I've handled them all. I know every pup's quirks, keep treats handy, and always come home with wagging tails and happy updates. Reliability is my thing: on time walks, clean pickups, and no drama. About: I've taken care of dogs all my life since childhood. I have provided them with love and care medical care and one on one time during walks, traveling to different dog parks, and beach trips! Our daily current schedule is as follows. 5am wake up 530 potty time 9am breakfast and walk 2pm long walk 5-6pm Dinner 8pm+ Quiet time with our blankets and dog TV time I have a secured apartment and we always make sure the dogs are leashes first before opening the door to go outside. I am conveniently located next door to a local bike path where we walk and run.

I make sure all pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved, paying attention to their routines and personalities so every visit is tailored to them. I provide daily cat care and dog visits on a semi-flexible schedule. Morning visits: M,W,TH,F 8:30/9am-9:30am and 9am-9:30am on Saturdays Mid-day visits: Wednesday 10:00–1:30pm Evenings: M,Th,S 6pm - any Unavailable: Tuesdays (Sabbath) & Sundays I do not provide overnight care at this time- sorry! Note: I work full-time, so a little flexibility with visit times is appreciated. I provide pet care only in clients’ homes for two reasons: I want pets to be in the comfort of their familiar environment and I have two cats of my own that are territorial. Your pets’ safety, trust, and well-being are my top priorities, and I want to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and cared for while following their usual routines.

I have a good-sized front yard for fresh air and playtime, and I live near several parks that are perfect for walks and outdoor exercise. I make sure pets stay on their regular feeding, bathroom, and play schedules so they feel comfortable and at home. If I’m caring for pets in the client’s home, I always follow instructions carefully and keep things clean, consistent, and calm. I treat each home with respect and each pet like they’re my own, paying attention to details like favorite toys, walking routes, or any special needs they might have.
