Availability
Rover is my only job so I can take good care of your animals. I do have lots of dog walks during the day so I would need to be able to leave your house sometimes up to 5 hours a day. Other than the walks and some appointments I spend all of my free time at your home with your animals.

I am familiar with kennels and making sure everything is safe, I take into consideration what you want your pets to eat and what they can’t. I like everything to be clean so they aren’t getting into anything they shouldn’t. I respect if you prefer your dog not to say hello to other dogs on walks just in case the other dog isn’t vaccinated or if they don’t get along with certain dogs. I also refrain from using communal water bowls. I always clean up after dogs. I have pet care insurance as well.

If i'm walking your dog I would love to know if they are reactive towards other dogs and some people so I know how to react in those situations. I love all dogs so I am willing to work with any breed. I also like to know about allergies and meds as well as your daily routine with your pet.
A typical day
I enjoy walking dogs and being outside. I will play with your pet for long periods of time and give them all the cuddles and pets they want. Your pet is my number one priority.

Pet care experience
Rover is my full time job so taking care of your pet is my highest priority. I recently worked as a Dog Handler and Lead Assist for 2 years where I monitored dogs, cleaned up after them as well as feeding and administering medications. I have worked at 3 different doggy day cares and I have a lot of experience handling dogs. I grew up with a dogs and cats and have experience with puppies/kittens as well as senior cats and dogs. I spend most of my time outside enjoying what nature had to offer as well as reading books and spending time with family. I have a lot of experience with cats and have helped foster kittens for the humane society for years. I also used to have a pet rabbit named Edgar and I treated him like a prince!. I treat every animal as if they are my own because each animal is special. Animals are my passion and I love them with all my heart. I have 5 cats at home as well as 2 beautiful parakeets. I live with my parents so when I’m at your home watching your dog or cat, my parents are taking care of the cats and birds.

Erika took great care of my cat while I was away. As always, she spent plenty of quality time with my cat, Mitten, and it was clear how much she enjoys being around her—and my cat LOVES her too! I could tell from all the photos she sent me. One thing I especially appreciate is the detailed daily updates she provides, along with lots of photos. They give me so much peace of mind and allow me to see how Mitten is doing each day. Since I'm away, that's really the only way for me to know how my cat is doing, so I truly appreciate the consistent updates and communication. This was the second time Erika cared for my cat, Roxy, and she did a wonderful job. As always, she was attentive, reliable, and thoughtful in her care. She followed instructions to a tee and spent quality time playing with Roxy and working on her puzzles. I especially appreciated her detailed updates and the many fun photos she shared, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that she truly understands Roxy’s personality and routines. I returned to a relaxed, happy cat and a home that was clean and well cared for. She also took extra steps preparing my home for my return, which was a thoughtful touch. I would happily trust her to care for Roxy again and confidently recommend her to others.
