I now work in Portland and have my own dog, a large bully mix who loves all dogs. He is great with everyone and loves to have a friend stay with us.

Information Kayley A. would like to know about your pet
I appreciate any background that you are able to give me about your pet such as what they are fearful of/what may cause anxiety. For example, are they scared of thunderstorms, do they have a dog in the neighborhood they don’t get along with, will they chew up something if left alone, etc.! More communication is always better! I do ask that boarding clients be crate trained and have the ability to stay in the crate when I’m not home. I never leave two dogs alone unsupervised and this allows me to step out when needed.
A typical day
A typical day definitely depends on your pups needs! Every dog is different and depending on what works best for them, I can work around. My number one priority is their comfort and safety!

Perfect stay while you’re away!!
Pet care experience
I moved to Oregon 8 years ago and moved to Portland about 4 years ago. I originally came to Oregon to go to school and and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. Before living in Oregon, I lived in California and was a pet sitter and active in the local rescue community. I volunteered with Priceless Pet Rescue in Chino Hills, CA and gained a lot invaluable of experience. I fostered for them and have handled many sizes of dog, with many different behavior/medical issues. I have experience with: human reactive dogs, dog reactive dogs, parapalegic dogs, diabetic pets, senior dogs, young dogs, dogs that need leash training, etc. You name it and I’ve probably done it! We got lots of different dogs in and both my fostering and volunteering has exposed me to this and given me tons of valuable information and experience in regards to handling dogs. I also worked in a vet clinic for a brief period of time!! If you have a dog who most people wouldn’t handle, reach out! I’ll come meet your fur baby and we can see if I’d be the perfect match to hang out with them!
Reviews

This was our first time having Kayley care for Baja and she was amazing! Kayley’s communications and updates were excellent and she went above and beyond on some visits to help with other things. We’ll definitely request her again the next time we need help with dog walking.

My dogs had a great time with Kayley! I received updates and photos throughout their stay. They came back nice and tired!

Kayley is an excellent dog sitter! My puppy is extremely wary of new people and she took to her Kayley within first 5min. She sent daily texts and a few videos to let me know my fur babies were doing well. I will book with her again.

Kayley is easy to work with and took good care of Duke! Thanks Kayley!!
