About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life! I have the most experience with bunnies, dogs, and cats but can make a connection with any pet. I care about keeping your best friend comfortable and at ease while you’re gone! I am most available on weekends and weekday early mornings before 10 am & evenings after 5pm but can offer additional availability Monday & Friday. I provide a calm and welcoming presence for animals of all types. I will make sure to build a relationship with your pet and be respectful of their space as a sitter. About: Am I a dog person or cat person? Can't choose, I've grown up around both! In fact, throw in bunnies and reptiles too: you name it, I've trained it. I bring a gentle energy to each and every pet, because just like people, they all have different and unique personalities. I'm currently a college student trying to fill time during the summer. My schedule is beyond free, so PLEASE I would be more than happy to take care of your pet. Routines are essential for pets, and I recognize that! I'm experienced in following all different types of quirky directions, so let me know exactly how your pets like it.

About: Over 20 years of hands on pet care under my belt. I've been the go to walker and sitter for friends, family, and neighbors across Portland. From energetic malamutes who love winter hikes in Forest Park, to chill cats who want a lap and a scratch. I've handled them all. I know every pup's quirks, keep treats handy, and always come home with wagging tails and happy updates. Reliability is my thing: on time walks, clean pickups, and no drama. I love animals and treat all pets as if they were own. I can tailor to the owner and their pet to make sure everyone is comfortable.
