About: I have several years of valuable experience with dogs and cats of all kinds! I grew up with a house full of pets, and currently have two pit-mix babies of my own. I also served as a pet resort manager for 5 years and am very knowledgeable on animal behavior, safety, exercise and nutritional needs, etc. I am comfy caring for a wide range of size and temperament, from the yappy yorkie to the boisterous Belgian Malinois! About: I have grown up and taken care of all types of dogs from puppies to seniors. My family raised Akitas growing up, so have lots of experience with large dogs! I am currently a nursing student at OHSU! I have 1 dog but would love to spend some time with some more furry friends to keep busy on my days off! I live on the south waterfront with easy access to walk to the trail along the river or go play in the parks nearby! I also have cameras set up in my apartment to keep an eye while I am not at home for short periods of time.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I've lived with dogs ever since a young age and find them to love me as much as I love them. I currently own a 2 year old Australian Shepherd. And with these types of dogs they love exercise and mental stimulation! Luckily for both of us, I do too! I used to own a Maltipoo and a German Shepherd mix that provided me with so much joy! Family members would ask me to dogsit, house sit, and I would often times volunteer to do so so that they can take a break and enjoy. I love taking my little friends to the park, nice strolls around the lake, or even hiking. Whatever the need, I'm your guy! My schedule is flexible since I am a student! Everyday I am already walking/running outside and thought it would be nice to share that experience with a friend as it provides both of us with therapy and sun! I am respectful, friendly, reliable, and communicate well with others. Dog parents and dogs will see how I interact with their family member and see that I am a great support for any services.
