About: Over 20 years of hands on pet care under my belt. I've been the go to walker and sitter for friends, family, and neighbors across Portland. From energetic malamutes who love winter hikes in Forest Park, to chill cats who want a lap and a scratch. I've handled them all. I know every pup's quirks, keep treats handy, and always come home with wagging tails and happy updates. Reliability is my thing: on time walks, clean pickups, and no drama. Let's get your furry crew out exploring. I am currently doing this part time and enjoy taking care of animals. I am fairly flexible on when I can be available for pet care. I love animals and treat all pets as if they were own. I can tailor to the owner and their pet to make sure everyone is comfortable.

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: I have several years of valuable experience with dogs and cats of all kinds! I grew up with a house full of pets, and currently have two pit-mix babies of my own. I also served as a pet resort manager for 5 years and am very knowledgeable on animal behavior, safety, exercise and nutritional needs, etc. I am comfy caring for a wide range of size and temperament, from the yappy yorkie to the boisterous Belgian Malinois! I have a patient and warm personality, and will make your pet feel comfortable and loved as if they were my own family! I am a graduate student who works part-time. I am also good with anxious or dog-aggressive pups, and can adapt to whatever activity they will enjoy to fit their needs. About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never let myself go without having a dog. For over 25 years I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments - puppies through seniors, anxious rescues, and high-energy dogs. Your animal is part of my family while they’re here, not just a guest and I genuinely enjoy having more dogs around, as does my dog! I’m in SW Portland with my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Layla, and I provide you with updates so you can actually relax while you’re away. I work mostly from home, which means plenty of outdoor breaks and consistent supervision throughout the day. My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Layla, is two years old, easygoing, and great with all sizes — she just loves having a friend around. My kids (10 and 14) are here half the time and are natural animal lovers, so your pet will have no shortage of company and attention. Every pet deserves to feel safe and at home while their family is away, and that’s what I’m here to provide. I’d love to care for yours.

About: I have owned and cared for many animals over the years. I have extensive experience and I am dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, loved and happy under my care. I am free all day, everyday. I am a university student home from studying animal sciences and would love to get some quality visits in! I don’t offer care at my own home but I am happy to stay or do drop ins at your house. I will ensure your fur baby gets quality cuddles and play time, properly fed, taken on walks as needed and endless love!

About: I have a 4 year old excitable spaniel of my own who certainly keeps my life exciting! I have always lived with dogs and can’t imagine it any other way. But I also love cats! Nearly all my friends have cats and I have lots of experience pet-sitting for many of them. I love spending time around animals and would love to take care of yours! I have a full-time 8-5 job, but do have flexibility within my week. I wfh at least one day a week - sometimes more. Evenings and weekends are usually super open for me! But feel free to reach out about availability as my schedule fluctuates often. I have a small fenced yard with space for your pup to potty and run. I also have a friendly dog of my own to keep yours company. I have a crate that can be used if your pup likes a place to settle. My furniture is my dogs furniture and it would be the same for your furry friend too! I also have an animal loving roommate - so double the love.

About: I've had dogs since I was a baby, and have taken care of dogs since I was 9, I have walked neighbors dogs, as well as family and friends dogs. I have taken care of dogs from chihuahua to great dane and have trained all three of my dogs for walking, tricks, and potty training! I also know how to do Cpr on a dog. I am home for the summer as a college student and am very flexible with lots of open dates. I am willing to work out the perfect schedule for you and your dog. I am ok to wake up early in the morning and be there to help your dog in the evenings as well. I will feed, groom, and play with my pets and others that I am caring for. I always make sure to take weather for walking, their behavior, and the clients needs into consideration to make sure my animal is very well taken care of and happy. I am all about safety and responsibility.

About: I have grown up and taken care of all types of dogs from puppies to seniors. My family raised Akitas growing up, so have lots of experience with large dogs! I am currently a nursing student at OHSU! I have 1 dog but would love to spend some time with some more furry friends to keep busy on my days off! I live on the south waterfront with easy access to walk to the trail along the river or go play in the parks nearby! I also have cameras set up in my apartment to keep an eye while I am not at home for short periods of time.

About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.
