I’ve been using Rover for about 5 years now, and have a lot of repeat clients I have built a trusting and great relationship with. I’ve looked after all kinds of pets ranging from dogs, cats, and lizards. Personally, I’ve had pets ranging from dogs, cats, guinea pigs and frogs since I was 4. I also have babysitting experience and do have experience working with horses as a stable hand. I can provide excellent service and care for up to 1-4 pets at a time. I am more than willing to do overnights and house sitting for however long you need. My duties can be whatever you need, just let me know. If your pet has any medical issues, please let me know beforehand. I have trained the dogs I’ve lived with lightly, and can help with enforcing positive behaviors, and trying to work with them on their bad habits (I’m not a professional, but I can certainly help and provide some useful tips and tricks here and there)!

Ensuring every pet gets the best care they deserve and feels comfortable and at ease is always my number one priority! Meet and greets before the stay are very important for establishing trust and a sense of safety for any pet, so please know this is a mandatory requirement for any potential stays with new pets! I have experience with caring for anxious pets, especially those with separation anxiety, and know how hard it can be on them when their family is away. Patience is key in these situations as it may take some time for the pet to warm up to others and feel comfortable without their safety net there, but I am dedicated to ensuring your pet(s) are well cared for and loved every step of the way!

Emma is amazing- one of my puppies was under the weather and she was so sweet and caring and most of all, very understanding!
I was visiting Portland, staying in an AirBnb and wanted to take a long day trip. She was very responsive to the initial request and communicative before, during and after her visit with my dog. I would definitely recommend Emma for your dog sitting needs.
I reached out to Emma to help me out with my two labs after I had knee surgery. Not onlwas she understanding and worked with me when it got postponed and I had to cancel and reschedule everything. She also brought to my attention that I was being double booked which equals to begin double charged. I was completely unaware of this and could not fine on Rover where it was. Long story short she took care of it and I was refunded by rover. Now to the pup's. She's been walking them for awhile now. They love her. When they return from their walk they are happy and thirsty. We appreciate Emma so much!
emma is an angel who puts anxious pups and their even more anxious owners at ease 😭 had a last minute change before I had to leave town for 3 days that required much more extensive care for my pup than initially anticipated and she was so understanding, willing to adjust, and communicative. i rlly cant thank her enough. also im pretty sure my pup was upset i got back and emma had to leave 😂 as an incredibly anxiously attached pup mama, i 100% recommend her to anyone!!

Schedule
As a pet owner myself, I am definitely always prepared for the best or worst case scenarios. Pet care has almost always been a part of my daily routine, whether it be feeding times, walks, play time or cuddling up on the couch after releasing some energy!

- I ask that you please leave a written note or document of each pet’s care instructions/information and emergency contacts so that I am always well prepared and ready for any potential situation. If your pet(s) have a specific medication(s) they take, please let me know ahead of time and leave instructions on how to administer their medication(s). If they are handicapped and/or have special needs, please provide additional care instructions so I can ensure your pet is as comfortable as can be. The more you tell me, the more I can help!
