Information Cynthia L. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if you have any special instructions about meeting your pet for the first time, and your goals/expectations for the initial meet and greet.

A typical day

I love learning about a pet's favorite toys and games, or activities they find comforting. A typical day with a dog would include a morning walk, breakfast, and playtime, brushing or scritches as needed. During the day there are potty breaks as well as another walk if desired, as well as playtime/engagement. Evenings include dinner, a final walk, and winding down. With a cat, I would let their personality lead me, whether it's playing throughout the day with a favorite toy, snuggling nearby or on my lap, or quiet time, along with making sure their food is exactly how they expect it.

Pet care experience

I am an experienced, reliable pet sitter with a special place in my heart for senior pets and those with unique needs. As a longtime dog owner of two rescue mixes, each with their own personalities and challenges, I am comfortable handling a wide range of behaviors. I have provided care for dogs and cats for friends, family, and repeat clients, including feeding, walking, administering medications, and reinforcing basic training. I take pride in creating a calm, consistent environment so pets feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I am attentive to detail and communication, and I treat every home and animal with the same respect I would expect for my own. I’ve been lucky to build lasting connections with both pets and their people, and I look forward to doing the same for you.

Cynthia was awesome. She listened to all the quirks that my senior dog has and went above and beyond in caring for her. She sent pictures and a brief summary of how everything went with each visit. I'm so glad that I picked Cynthia for this job and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter/walker.

Cynthia was great with my new little creature! She came very prepared with questions and notebook in hand. She was great with my puppy and seemed quite knowledgeable about behavior and training experience. We look forward to building more experiences together.
