About: I have taken care of cats and dogs from ages 4 months to 12 years! I like to learn each animals needs and modify my care for them! I work three days a week and keep an open schedule to care for others’ animals the other four days in the week! I have a flexible schedule and can even help on the days I am scheduled at my main job! I always ask for your preferences for your animals! Whether this includes walk length, treats and food, and even mannerisms, I always want to make sure YOU and your animals are comfortable!

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.

About: Am I a dog person or cat person? Can't choose, I've grown up around both! In fact, throw in bunnies and reptiles too: you name it, I've trained it. I bring a gentle energy to each and every pet, because just like people, they all have different and unique personalities. I'm currently a college student trying to fill time during the summer. I’m a wedding and family photographer, and I share my home with a sweet corgi named Frankie and a cat named Becky. My goal is to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I work from home, so your dog will enjoy plenty of neighborhood walks, lots of cuddle time during the day, and fun play sessions in the backyard! Spacious/ quiet home, no kids, fenced yard. About: What sets me apart is the care and attention I bring to every visit. I’m naturally detail-oriented and believe the little things make a big difference. I double- and triple-check food, water, gates, doors, and instructions so both you and your pet can feel safe and cared for. During a recent week-long pet care visit, I cared for an anxious, high-needs dog who was hesitant to walk with anyone outside her family. By moving at her pace and earning her trust, she happily joined me for several walks and settled in comfortably throughout the week. Experiences like that have deepened my appreciation for dogs and reinforced my belief that patience, consistency, and kindness help every pet feel secure. Whether your companion is energetic, shy, independent, or somewhere in between, I’ll meet them where they are and care for them with the same thoughtfulness I give my own pets. My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to provide dependable drop-in visits for both cats and dogs. I have plenty of time for walks, play, enrichment, or simply being a calm, safe, and loving presence in your pet’s home and yard. I’m generally available Monday through Friday between 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m., with occasional weekend availability as well. I believe trust is earned through consistency, communication, and attention to detail. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level so they can feel as relaxed and secure as possible while you’re away. I’m careful to follow your instructions closely and always double- and triple-check the little things before leaving—doors and gates are secure, water bowls are full, food has been given, litter boxes or potty breaks are complete, and your pet is safe and comfortable. I also treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own, leaving it clean, secure, and just as you left it. My goal is for you to return home to a happy pet and complete peace of mind.

About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never let myself go without having a dog. For over 25 years I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments - puppies through seniors, anxious rescues, and high-energy dogs. Your animal is part of my family while they’re here, not just a guest and I genuinely enjoy having more dogs around, as does my dog! I’m in SW Portland with my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Layla, and I provide you with updates so you can actually relax while you’re away. I work mostly from home, which means plenty of outdoor breaks and consistent supervision throughout the day. My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Layla, is two years old, easygoing, and great with all sizes — she just loves having a friend around. My kids (11 and 14) are here half the time and are natural animal lovers, so your pet will have no shortage of company and attention. Every pet deserves to feel safe and at home while their family is away, and that’s what I’m here to provide. I’d love to care for yours.

About: I have helped train and take care of many dogs old dogs that have been on hospice and dogs that are a couple months old. I help with Guide Dogs for the Blind and help train guide dog puppies before they are one. We have a Guide Dog puppy in our care right now so I wake up feed him, potty him and leave for school. Come home potty him sometimes take time to train and walk him and play. I snuggle with my cat and he falls asleep right away in my lap after doing his biscuits. When ever our dogs are in the yard I even though we have a fence make sure they are safe and have gone to the bathroom. Talking and playing with the dogs to make sure they know I am a safe person. Same with cats they can be timid so not rushing to pet or be to close to their safe space. Let them tell me what they need/want.

About: I've owned and worked with animals my entire life! Anything from Mice and bugs to horses and dogs. I've worked at barns and as a dog trainer, even as far as being a grooming assistant at dog shows. I have experience caring for sick, chronically ill and senior animals as well, and am used to routine ear cleanings and pill-givings. I'm currently in school full-time and my classes vary Monday through Thursday. But don't fret! I still have plenty of time to care for your fur babies before and after classes. While I do not currently offer in-home boarding, I am fully capable of providing fun and consistent care for your furry friend in your humble abode. I've done many house visits over the years, ranging from hamsters to ponies!
