“Our pup was nervous given she hasn’t stayed anywhere without us for a few years, but Laura sent us photos of her sleeping, and it was clear that Laura was very attentive and loving, so we knew she was safe and sound. Hoping a few more visits at Laura’s will help our little Chihuahua settle in a little easier.”
“Myriah was absolutely wonderful with our dog Rice! One of the best sitters ever. She provided daily pictures, updates and videos. She always made us feel reassured while gone. I can’t recommend her enough! She also has a cute dog named Harper and worked endlessly to make Rice comfortable in that new environment :)”

“Appreciated the superb communication, especially getting pictures of my happy pup, but all along every step of the way. This was the first time I left my dog overnight, and Kristopher made it a comfortable experience for me.”

“This was the first time we had left Jazzie and Sadie with Sandy but I am happy to say, they came home both tired and happy!! We are planning to leave them there for a much longer stay and feel confident that the girls will be well taken care of. Thank you Sandy!”

“They are the nicest people and treated Tom as if he was their own. They kept sending pics of Tom having the best time, which allowed me to enjoy my vacation.”

“What an amazing individual and her little doggie, Zoe. Marybeth is super casual, interested, caring, and flexible. She understands pets and their importance. I loved her tree-lined neighborhood and the HUGE fenced backyard available for my little pupper to play. I've decided Marybeth's the one to trust with my little pup, Mia.”

“Jamie was all-around great! Kind and friendly to us, and perfectly kind, calm, and thorough with our doggo. If you have an anxious, or elderly, or high-needs pet, Jamie is the perfect sitter. Next time Stewart needs a relaxing weekend, we know where to go!”

“Hina had a blast staying at Manisha's! She was showered with love and attention from the whole family. She came back home a very happy and tired pup. Manisha was great to work with. Very prompt communicator and sent a ton of pictures and short videos. Her daughters even made a little card to go home with Hina. We're excited to have Hina stay with them again.”

“Dottie's a pro. Her thoughtfully planned indoor and outdoor spaces are very pet friendly, and provide dogs with a comfy variety of safe spaces. Petey (my dog) and I stopped by for an initial visit - to ensure compatibility and fit. Drop-off and pick-up were seamless. I felt very confident in the quality and level of care Petey received during my absence. I highly recommend Dottie's services.”

“Andi was a wonderful pet sitter for our senior kitty, Itsy while we were away for a week during the holidays. Itsy is a very affectionate kitty who gets a bit lonely when she's home alone and we appreciated all the love and attention Andi gave in our absence. Andi was a great communicator and was even considerate about bringing in the mail and the couple packages that showed up. Thankful for Andi's help this Christmas and will definitely be reaching out again next time we're planning a trip!”

About: I’ve loved cats my entire life and grew up with them throughout my childhood. Since then, I’ve frequently cat-sat for friends, neighbors, and family, and I truly enjoy getting to know each cat’s unique personality. I’m happy to feed, refresh water, scoop litter, give treats, and provide lots of affection (or space if they prefer). I’ll also send photo updates so you can relax knowing your cat is safe and cared for.

“I am so grateful to have found Damon to care for my girl Fiona. She is almost 14, blind, and diabetic, so I was nervous when my schedule changed and I was needing to find a daycare solution for her. I feel so comfortable dropping her off with him. I know that she will be well taken care of and he will quickly communicate any concerns.”

“Our dogs always come home happy and calm from their play day at Angelica and Tyler's. They can't wait to get to their house so all our doggy dates are a win for everyone :-)”

“Took my 3 year old female GSD to Allen’s for daycare and had a good first time experience. Got to meet the other dogs and see her interact with them. Lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which really helps you feel at ease for a first time drop off. Good to know the dogs are running around getting their exercise. We plan to continue using Allen’s services.”

“Tommy was a great sitter for our puppy pitbull, Mamba! He made sure the environment was right for a puppy, and took extra measures to ensure she had a great first day care experience. He lives and breathes the dog caretaker life, so if you want someone who will pay attention to your dog’s needs and truly care for them, Tommy is your guy!”

“Evita was incredible! She watched Miso while I had a 12hr shift at work, and was extremely accommodating with drop off and pick up time. She sent lots of updates and was very understanding when my nervous dog wouldn’t stop barking in the morning. 10/10 would recommend!!”

“Lilly was wonderful. Plenty of tail wagging going on and I know Kiko had plenty of fun on walks and runs, as his puppy energy was spent....in a good way in the evenings. I wouldn't hesitate to take Kiko back. Thank you Lilly!”

“I needed day care services for the last 3 weeks. Susan & Ian were amazing! I requested dog pickup and drop off. I work 12 hrs a day and when I got home I came home to a tired and happy dog. It was like Christmas. I got pictures and video updates thought the day and report card at end of day. Kuka, my dog, loves their Rudy. They became buddies. I cant recommend them high enough!! Kuka went to doggie day care in the past and it always stressed her out. We tired 4 different places. She is super duper happy with Susan and family.”

“Michael and Cheryl were fantastic with Bean! We did a meet and greet before hand and they helped settle my nerves about leaving him (I think I’m the one with separation anxiety ha!). I would definitely recommend them and Bean will see them in the future as well!”

About: If you're a dog lover, you should have dogs, right? I've had dogs all my life and we currently have two small well-behaved dogs, Daisy and Buddy, both under 20 lbs. My 23-year-old son Sam is a co-sitter (I'm primary) and your doggie will receive all the love it can handle! Sam used to volunteer as a dog walker at the Maui Humane Society when we lived on Maui and we spent Saturdays at the pet-a-puppy adoption gathering at the Maui Mall. Animals seem to know we're safe and loving and tend to come to us when they need help. We've rescued a duckling, a Mynah bird, a baby squirrel, a lost kitten, and two adult dogs, caring for them in our homes until appropriately placed or returned to their owners. We also took part in a humpback whale rescue when visiting Maui Feb 2023. I work from home as an instructional designer; my son is an student in animation and is also at home and absolutely adores every animal he ever met. Two responsible adults are here at all times, so this makes it easy to give your fur baby the attention it deserves. Our dogs are indoor dogs and have free roam of our house. We have a large, fenced, dog-friendly backyard for exercise. Our two small friendly dogs can show your dog the ropes. We recommend a visit prior to placement so they can all get acquainted.
“Sequoia took great care of my 1 year old Great Pyrenees puppy, providing good communication. My pup came home happy and tired from playing with her canine pals. Will book again!”

“Naomi has been really great with Blue and ensured daily communication to send us news. We felt really good to know Blue was in good hands ! Thanks a lot for taking are of our dog!”

“Lucinda made multiple extra visits to my house (outside of scheduled walks) to try & get my very fearful dog to get to know her. She is very patient & understanding, I just wish my dog would be more cooperative! I appreciate how she went above & beyond to try & accommodate my scaredy cat dog. <3”

“Emma was fantastic with my dog! He took to her so quickly and he’s usually more shy/timid around strangers. She followed all instructions to a T and took a bunch of photos which I appreciate. I would absolutely recommend Emma to watch your fur babies!”

About: Having grown up on a 20 acre farm for most of my life, I have cared for all shapes and sizes of animals - from horses to snakes, and everything in between! When I moved into an apartment for college, I missed the "dog energy" in our household and set to volunteering hundreds of hours at the Humane Society, which also included basic training skills and walking the most aggressive 100+lb leash pullers. This later evolved into working at a veterinary clinic where I was trained to monitor recovering animals and administer medications safely and with as little stress as possible through Fear Free certification. Animal body language is my second language! I love the outdoors as much as the indoors, and am more than happy to accommodate medical needs. ♡ If you would like extras taken care of during your pets stay or our visit, such as bathing, grooming, nail trims, or a run, just let me know! My dog, Leo, and I are constantly going on hikes and we are more than happy to tucker your pups out with a day trip, just reach out for rates. I currently work as a Braille Librarian for the state and used to teach Low Vision/Blind learners, and I am also fluent in American Sign Language (ASL), so I have a soft spot for dogs that may be Deaf, Blind, or DeafBlind. To top it all off, I am working on weaseling my way into Guide Dog puppy raising, and all the training tips that come along with that. ( : I commute to Salem Wednesday and Friday, which means my schedule during those days is usually pretty limited to anything after 430pm. Otherwise, my weekends are typically completely free and ready to be filled with whatever your fur babies need! Using the Fear Free method, I work with a pet's body language to determine what will work best in the current situation, and when methods may be effective versus stressful. I am ready to go at your pet's pace with whatever they may need, and clearly communicate the process along the way.
About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I’ve never let myself go without having a dog. For over 25 years I’ve cared for pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments - puppies through seniors, anxious rescues, and high-energy dogs. Your animal is part of my family while they’re here, not just a guest and I genuinely enjoy having more dogs around, as does my dog! I’m in SW Portland with my Greater Swiss Mountain Dog Layla, and I provide you with updates so you can actually relax while you’re away. I work mostly from home, which means plenty of outdoor breaks and consistent supervision throughout the day. My Greater Swiss Mountain Dog, Layla, is two years old, easygoing, and great with all sizes — she just loves having a friend around. My kids (10 and 14) are here half the time and are natural animal lovers, so your pet will have no shortage of company and attention. Every pet deserves to feel safe and at home while their family is away, and that’s what I’m here to provide. I’d love to care for yours.
About: Hello! I'm just a natural born animal lover and have been surrounded by them all my life. I have over 15years experience working with animals in veterinary care and have a B.S in Animal Health Sciences. I have had experience with just about every breed and temperament of dog there is. While my passion is for dogs that does not mean I don't also love cats and have never been without one for a pet. My experience also includes caring for reptiles, rodents, pigs and even primates! My most fulfilling work was my time working as an animal health technician in an animal shelter. It brought me pure heartbreak and pure joy. It was so sad to see what conditions brought the animals to the shelter but was also rewarding knowing that I was making a difference in their lives. During my time working in shelters, I gained experience interacting with both shy dogs and aggressive dogs and am comfortable with both. While I've always had pets, I stepped away from working with animals to work in health care some years ago. I really miss the interaction with animals and caring for them. It is my one true passion. I feel I have an instinct into how an animal is feeling and am able to meet that need. I will always make sure your pet feels comfortable and secure. I'm currently working part-time in health care so have plenty of time open to care for your pet. I mostly have afternoons, evenings and weekends available. While in your home I will take all measures to ensure that your pet is safe and secure. We will leave no doors open and will always have a dog on a leash before walking out the door.

About: I have 2 years of experience taking care of dogs! I am very patient with every pet who are still learning, and I am strictly committed to following every owner's specific feeding and medication routines. Im currently working as a cashier at Fred Meyer so communication it’s vital! I can work mostly on weekdays if you need but we can talk about weekends! I love to walk so we could be hours on it! Also I love to play and do different activities <3 I don’t have a mansion but my home is full of love!
About: Over 20 years of hands on pet care under my belt. I've been the go to walker and sitter for friends, family, and neighbors across Portland. From energetic malamutes who love winter hikes in Forest Park, to chill cats who want a lap and a scratch. I've handled them all. I know every pup's quirks, keep treats handy, and always come home with wagging tails and happy updates. Reliability is my thing: on time walks, clean pickups, and no drama. Let's get your furry crew out exploring. I am currently doing this part time and enjoy taking care of animals. I am fairly flexible on when I can be available for pet care. I love animals and treat all pets as if they were own. I can tailor to the owner and their pet to make sure everyone is comfortable.
About: I've always loved dogs of all sizes and I've been lucky enough to grow up around them. For fifteen years, I have walked, cared for, fed, trained and loved on as many dogs as I could. Whether they're cuddly or prefer their own space, want to play fetch for hours, or simply want a sniff filled walk in the park, I've enjoyed every moment of fur filled love and play. I have experience with dogs of all sizes from Saint Bernards and German Shepherds all the way to Pomeranians, Jack Russel Terriers, and all sizes in between. I have lots of experience with walking large and small dogs, whether they be amazing on a leash or like to pull you around at full strength and speed. I also have lots of experience reading canine body language, working with territorial or dog selective pups, even with anxious or high energy pups. I have a very flexible schedule and often I am available on short notice for walks, drop-ins, or short (1-2 nights) overnight stays. Whether your pup just needs a walk while you're at work or they need a friend for a few hours to play and feed them, I will always do my best to be available. I currently only do pet sitting in your pup's home environment, however I find this helps make all dogs much more comfortable when their favorite humans aren't around. I do have a large and very friendly dog of my own, Harley, who would happily join for a playdate if your pup would like a new friend. I will always do my best to take care of your pup just like you do and make them feel safe, loved, and happy.

About: I was born into a family of German Shepherd lovers, and grew up primarily taking care of our German Shepherds until about 10 years old when we also adopted cats and labradors. Once I graduated college, I adopted an 8 week old Alaskan malamute, who I cared for his entire 11 years of life until he passed just recently this past January. I am not ready to adopt again, but am missing the presence of dogs in my life and looking to fill that space by helping friends, family, neighbors and members of the community with their dog care needs. I am experienced with puppies, high maintenance animals, and especially with large breeds (my boy was 150lbs at a healthy weight and required at least 5 miles of exercise a day). I am kind, caring, uniquely experienced, energetic and reliable. I currently am only working/unavailable late Saturday and Sunday nights, and am extremely active during the week. I have plenty of free time in general. I am respectful to how you’d like your dog to be taken care of in your home and out and about, and also have my own set of everything (leashes, crate, toys, beds, etc) if need be.

About: What sets me apart is my lifelong, hands-on experience caring for animals combined with a strong scientific and responsible work background. I have cared for dogs, cats, and even a pet pig since childhood, and I currently have a cat. I’ve also regularly pet sat for neighbors and family friends since I was 12, including animals with different temperaments and needs. My biology and environmental science training, along with research experience maintaining live animal systems, has strengthened my attention to animal health, behavior, and safety. I’m also dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in caregiving roles, including childcare and supervision, which translates well to responsible pet care and reliability for owners. Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I am currently not working and I have a car, so I have full flexibility for visits, walks, or check-ins throughout the day. During the summer, I have no school commitments, which means I am essentially fully available and can adjust my schedule around pet needs, including mornings, evenings, and last-minute care if needed. I am reliable, organized, and used to balancing responsibility from my academic and research background, so I can consistently prioritize pet care without scheduling conflicts. In a client’s home, I prioritize safety, routine, and minimizing stress for the pet by following the owner’s instructions exactly as given. I make sure pets have fresh food and water, clean litter boxes or outdoor access, and receive attention and exercise based on their normal routine. I’m careful to secure doors, gates, and leashes to prevent escapes and always monitor behavior for any signs of stress or health concerns. With my biology and animal research background, I’m attentive to animal well-being and comfortable handling both cats and dogs responsibly and calmly.
About: Hi, I’m Karissa — a lifelong animal lover with a calm, reliable presence and a genuine passion for helping pets feel safe, understood, and cared for. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family member, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your pet needs structure, gentle reassurance, or just a fun companion for the day, I show up with patience, consistency, and a lot of heart. My goal is simple: to give your pet the same level of comfort and security they feel at home, and to give you total peace of mind while you’re away! I’m in school and have time throughout the week to help out. Most days are a thumbs up for me! Hey Thanks for stopping by! Animals are the principals of our world. They teach us to live our lives! There is no leash tugging from me, consistent phone use, leave poop on the ground going on here. My walks and check ins are safe, reliable and fun with all animals.
About: I have owned and cared for many animals over the years. I have extensive experience and I am dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, loved and happy under my care. I am free all day, everyday. I am a university student home from studying animal sciences and would love to get some quality visits in! I don’t offer care at my own home but I am happy to stay or do drop ins at your house. I will ensure your fur baby gets quality cuddles and play time, properly fed, taken on walks as needed and endless love!
About: I was crowned the neighbor dog sitter at a very early age. By eight years old I was knocking on doors asking if I could take my neighbors dogs on a walk. I have always loved taking care of animals, and have gained a lot of experience with different species over the years such as cats, dogs, and maybe more. I am currently a student working part time and attending classes online. I live a very active lifestyle so taking your furry friend on a walk or run is my favorite part of the day! I typically work 4 days a week, but I am able to let your fur baby out on my lunch as well as getting a long walk in before and after my shift. It is my first priority to make your pet as comfortable as possible while you are away. I will make sure to follow any sort of rules or special instructions you may provide.
“Andi has been amazing! Highly recommend. She is an excellent communicator, reliable, responsible, patient and loving with my little 5 month old shih tzu bulldog mix. I really appreciate Andi's willingness to talk this over, see how things fit and adjust from there. Thank you, Andi!!”

About: Growing up I always had animals, especially dogs and cats! I absolutely adored each and every one. I love animals of all sizes, and treat mine like my children. I will give your baby all the attention, snuggles, and love they want. I have many years of experience in caring for dogs and cats, and would love to spoil and care for yours just as I do mine! :) I work through out the week so during that time I have limited availability but I am flexible for drop-in’s most evenings and early mornings. I am completely available Friday through Sunday. I will keep a close eye on your baby and make sure to the best of my ability they’re safe at all times! If you have a certain schedule or routine for your babe I am happy to keep them on that as well. For boarding, I don’t have a yard at my apartment but have easy access to trails/parks for walks and frequent potty breaks!
About: I have a dog with seizures and I understand how much care is needed to care for him. I will treat your dog(s) with that same care and significance. I work early morning hours Thursday through Monday. I'm off work by 10:30am and can be available to walk, feed, administer medicatios and do drop in visits 7 days a week. I live in an apartment downtown that has a secured entry. I have a collapsible travel kennel that can hold a small to medium sized dog, I also have a wood kennel that can hold a pet up to 20lbs with plenty of room to spare. My 20lb Boston Terrier fits in it comfortably with enough room to stand up and turn around without any discomfort.

“Appreciated the superb communication, especially getting pictures of my happy pup, but all along every step of the way. This was the first time I left my dog overnight, and Kristopher made it a comfortable experience for me.”

“Cheryl and family were so kind and wonderful. Took amazing care of my Coco, promising updates and pictures. Made time to meet us beforehand since Coco has only been left with non family a few times and was nervous. Appreciate knowing she was in caring hands. Would highly recommend.”

“Paula was amazing with our dog, cooper. He was happy and well taken care of. He got tons of park and play time and we got fun updates from Paula and her dog, Shuby! We will definitely be staying with Paula again.”

“They are the nicest people and treated Tom as if he was their own. They kept sending pics of Tom having the best time, which allowed me to enjoy my vacation.”

“So happy to have come across Jennifer and Eric before boarding our pup. Seeing photos of him snuggling their kids and knowing he was being loved on all week gave us so much peace of mind while we were on vacation. Thank you guys so much!”

“Jungé had a great time with Jake and Zoey (his pup). Zoey is a very friendly pup and I'm sure Jungé had fun playing with her. Jungé also got a good amount of exercise and good care. I'll definitely use Jake again in the future.”

“We couldn't have asked for a better dog sitter for our elderly dog. They gave him all the love and attention a little old man could have asked for. We will definitely use them again.”

“Katie and her family took great care of our guy Riley while he was recovering from some injury. Communication was smooth and timely and we really appreciated daily photo of Riley.”

“Our dog has stayed with Abe twice now, and both experiences have been wonderful. She always comes home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Abe truly knows dogs — his meet and greet was the most thorough we’ve ever had, which immediately gave us confidence that she’d be in great hands. During her stays, he sends photo updates that show she’s comfortable and having a good time. We really appreciate the care and attention he puts into every detail. Highly recommend!”

“Kathy took such an amazing care of Nella. So grateful. She sent several updates/pics/vids everyday throughout Nella's stay, which really reassured me that Nella was in great hands. I was able to fully relax during our time away knowing our pup was getting all the care, attention, and exercise she needed/wanted. Really hoping Nella gets another opportunity to stay with Kathy. Thanks again so much!”

“Allison was really easy to work with. Her and her family took good care of my dog and responded timely with updates when I checked in. I would gladly work with her again in the future.”
