I love animals to my core.
I've housesat and cared for countless pets, particularly dogs, but also rabbits, cats, chickens, and ducks, over the years. I was also the guardian of and soul-bonded with a husky-shepherd mix (who left me about a year ago) for 14 years. He was high energy and ridiculously intelligent, so he always gave me a good run for my money. He also had typical health issues at the end of his life, so I have plenty of experience with energetic/working breed dogs, administering medication, and senior care. I also have some experience with leash training, but will follow your instructions should you have any. I was cornered and nearly killed by two pitbulls years back, so pitbulls and pitbull mixes (and any breeds known for being aggressive) are out for me. I'm also mildly allergic to cats, so prefer to avoid staying too long in homes that have indoor cats, though would be fine for a drop in. I'm an animal lover to my core, so if you're unsure if I'm up for a task, please feel free to reach out. I'm doing this mostly because I need more animals in my life, so look forward to hearing from you!

I'm happy to check in on your dog or other pets, including refilling water, putting out any food, including prepping food if needed. I am also available for walks, including up to an hour in length for younger, more energetic dogs. Let me know if you need anything specific and I'm happy to see what I can do.

Kristy was kind enough to watch our 2 girls on such short notice. She was super communicative from the start and asked great questions which showed that she cared. The great communication continued throughout the weekend and she was awesome for finding workarounds for walking the two dogs. Our place was left in great shape and she even stripped the sheets without us asking her to. I strongly recommend Kristy for dog sitting!
Kristy was wonderful! She was communicative and took great care of our two doggos, including gave one daily medication. She sent us daily updates and photos, and even tidied up before she left, making our return stress-free. I highly recommend!
Kristy was great! She was very responsive and sent us several updates with pictures and videos while we were away. Meaty got to go on little adventures with her every day and when the weekend was over she left our place looking nicer than when we left. Thanks Kristy!
Kristy was wonderful with our three energetic dogs, and three dogs are a lot! From our first Zoom, she was easy to get to know and immediately felt trustworthy. When Rover accidentally left our guinea pig off the booking, she rolled with it and cared for our little guinea without hesitation. She also noticed our plants needed water, even though I had completely forgotten to ask. They probably would have been dead when we returned! Kristy sent pictures throughout our trip, our dogs were clearly loved and happy, and our home was in better shape than when we left. She handled everything with flying colors, and we would absolutely trust her with our animals and home again.
Kristy did a wonderful job looking after our pets (a large dog and a rabbit) for three weeks while we were on holiday. She bonded immediately with both pets and it was very reassuring to know that they were being so well cared for. She even sent regular updates and pictures of their antics :) Our dog is a large Hunterway who is super clever and loud,, and she handled him with no problems. She also did a wonderful job taking care of our home. Nothing was broken or damaged and the house was even cleaner and tidier than when we left. I have known Kristy for six months and would highly recommend her as a house and pet sitter. She's trustworthy, friendly and has great communication skills! I wouldn't hesitate to have her look after our home and pets again.
Kristy watched our 2 dogs for several weeks while we were on vacation in Hawaii. We were on worried about leaving our fur babies for so long but Kristy provided us with lots of photos and updates, and took amazing care of them. She made sure they got lots of exersize and attention every day while we were gone. She also watched our home and kept it clean, tidy, organized, and safe.

Schedule
My schedule is wide open with the exception of some appointments scattered throughout the week, so it's likely I can fit you in, including most weekends, mornings, and mid-day.

- I do not have a car at this time, but have used uber pet successfully when needing to take pets to the vet for normal needs. It would be best to have an emergency contact nearby should there be something more significant and you have a larger breed. My preference is for well-behaved dogs that are leash trained, particularly if they're a larger breed. I'm happy to provide services to higher energy dogs or even reactive dogs in appropriate contexts and locations where I can ensure everyone stays safe (ie. in your backyard or around your neighborhood if your dog is reactive to other dogs). Please just be up front regarding your dog's needs and limitations so that we can call stay safe!
