“Tiana was absolutely amazing while I was gone in Vegas! She took great care of my cat and updated me constantly along with checking on him multiple times throughout the day. She even cleaned up which was really sweet of her. 10/10 would recommend her as a petsitter if you ever need one at all. Thank you Tiana!!”

“Brigit was amazing! So thorough and extremely kind and knowledgeable about animals in general. She left our home neat, and sent updates often. She is very dependable and I felt at ease leaving our new puppy with her. I would recommend her to anyone who wants a responsible and loving person to watch their fur baby!”
“Chardonay did a wonderful job caring for our anxious senior German shepherd. We were gone for 10 days, out of the country, and I felt so relieved having someone who clearly cares for dogs so deeply caring for our girl. She managed meds, special diet, and communicated with us the whole time. We will for sure using Chardonay again!”

“Jeff is great! Very easy going in all things, except when it comes to the well being of your pet. His attention to detail there is above and beyond! Took care of my pup like a member of the family, would trust him any day to provide the best for her. Will absolutely book again.”

“Tsitsiki is AMAZING! Tre was treated so well! & My home was the same as when I left, Very respectful! Tsitsiki made this experience stress free! I was able to be at ease while at work knowing my pup was being taken care of and loved on!”

“Alice was wonderful with my Westie, Izzy! She came into my home to care for her, which I was very grateful for. I have never left my dog for any length of time and she seemed like a very happy pup when I returned home from a 5-day trip. Would have liked more communication and pictures, but overall I am very happy. I will definitely use Alice again.”

About: As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog’s care. I bring a calm, dependable presence and treat every dog as an individual, meeting them where they are—energy level, personality, and needs included. I’m easy-going and patient, with a genuine love and appreciation for dogs of all kinds. Whether your dog enjoys longer walks, hikes, dog park time, or just a quick potty break and some companionship, I tailor each visit to what helps them feel comfortable and content. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs. I’ve put my own younger dog through multiple training classes and understand the importance of reinforcing routines, commands, and good habits. I’m also comfortable administering medication and slowing things down for senior pups who need extra care and attention. Both of my dogs are rescues, which has made me especially mindful of dogs who may be anxious, sensitive, or adjusting to new people. I prioritize patience, consistency, and reassurance—particularly for dogs who feel stressed when their humans are away. I work full-time from home during the week, which gives me a flexible and predictable schedule for walks, drop-ins, and check-ins throughout the day. I’m generally available mornings, mid-day, and early evenings, and I’m off on weekends—so your dog gets consistent care, not rushed gaps between obligations. I plan my day around the dogs I’m caring for, making sure walks and visits fit naturally into a calm, steady routine. I aim to mirror your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, walking habits, commands, and house rules—so they feel secure and settled. I’m attentive to cues like body language, energy levels, and stress signals, and I adjust care as needed. Safety always comes first: secure leashes and harness checks, awareness of surroundings on walks, and clear communication if anything feels off. I respect your home as I would my own and follow instructions carefully, knowing trust is earned through consistency and follow-through.

“I got really lucky when a last minute business trip came up and Heather responded quickly and had an opening. I wasn’t able to greet her and she was able to get herself into the house and care for Lily on time and I got regular reports daily. I really appreciated. Left the place, clean and organized, and Lily was excited to see me when I got home. Thanks Heather.”

“Age was great with Leia, even when my dog got sick, she knew how to handle it. It was the first time I had left my dog, so I was scared, but it went really well. I got photos and updates every day. Very professional. I wouldn't hesitate to book again!”

“Scott was communicative and provided great care for our pups! He came and met the dogs ahead of time, which was really nice. He was very easy going throughout the whole process. Thank you!”

“Kay is amazing! We were so grateful to find her to watch our dog on a two week vacation. We have a pretty reactive dog who takes a while to warm up to people but with Kay’s calm demeanor it didn’t take long for them to become fast friends. We recommend Kay to anyone who is in need of a sitter, trustworthy, reliable, has the experience & did I mention calm!? Our dog already misses her!! Thank you, thank you Kay!!”

“Mindy and Daniel were so wonderful and took great care of our pup. They sent regular updates, followed our care instructions and took care of our home. We will gladly work with them again!”

“Anthony is the perfect dog sitter Piper feels totally relaxed and is happy to spend time with him. I highly recommend him and will book him in the future.”

“Melinda watched my dogs for a 10 day trip after another sitter cancelled. Dogs were happy and calm when I returned home and house was well kept. Thanks so much Melinda!!”

“Rosanna was absolutely amazing to work with. I had a lot of anxiety leaving Bella alone but Rosanna provided updates every check in. She was an absolute joy to work with and I can’t recommend her enough!”

“Momo is amazing! She took such great care of Anouk and Klaus— treating them to long walks and lots of attention. Staying on a routine is the best things for my pups, and Momo honored that and more! She’s also a great communicator which gave us extra peace of mind while we were both traveling. I HIGHLY recommend Momo!”

“Kristen was a thorough and prompt communicator and awesome with our critters! Our anxious dog and cat warmed up to her quickly and she was able to navigate a troublesome toilet issue while we were gone. She is great and we appreciated her house sitting!”

“Lauren always does a great job with our cat. Our cat is comfortable around her and Lauren takes great care with her dietary and medical issues. We are always happy with her stays!”

Hazelwood pet parents share their Rover experiences
Melanie truly went above and beyond with a last-minute housesitting request, and then came through again with an extra drop-in visit when my flight home was delayed. Total lifesaver!! She took great care of my pets, including long walks with my dog and giving them lots of love and attention. I could tell they were happy and well cared for while I was away. Melanie is reliable, trustworthy, easy to communicate with, and her rates are extremely reasonable for the level of care she provides. I’m so grateful for all her help!

Heather took wonderful care of our senior citizen friends (dog and cat) and our home, while we were away. Both animals are very set in their routines and our dog, in particular, is needy from the standpoint of both oral and injectable medication. He also wears belly bands while we’re away. Both animals looked very happy and content when we got home. Our home was also well cared for. Heather is an excellent communicator and asks questions, if she has any. I would highly recommend Heather to anyone needing an experienced, trustworthy pet/home sitter.

Heather was amazing! Communication was timely and thorough. My two large dogs loved her and my cat is 19 years old and I think he did too. I don’t know if he knows what’s going on most of the time and typically just wanders the house looking for food, even after he just ate - I digress. She followed every request to the letter, was very kind and checked in regularly, even got some super cute photos. I’d giver her 6/5 stars if I could. I will be asking for her by name from now on. Highly recommend (except when we need her, then I don’t ;)~

Robin was fantastic! She stayed in our home for 3 nights watching our two pups. She was very communicative, clean, respectful, and trustworthy. She gave great updates each day and let us know that everything was going good which is always appreciated when we're missing our pups. She left our home spotless including going above and beyond to start laundry. Highly recommend!
