“This was our 2nd time having Heather sit with our dog. I think if you get repeat customers - it says it all! Heather was fantastic. Lots of communication and pictures. I could tell when I got home that my dog had been well taken care of!”

“Anthony went above and beyond. His communication was fantastic and very responsive. He showed immediate affection to our animals and they liked him. He provided plenty of pictures and updates. Additionally, he left us a very heartfelt gift and some treats. He is amazing and you'd be lucky to get him!”

“Momo is amazing! She took such great care of Anouk and Klaus— treating them to long walks and lots of attention. Staying on a routine is the best things for my pups, and Momo honored that and more! She’s also a great communicator which gave us extra peace of mind while we were both traveling. I HIGHLY recommend Momo!”

“Brittani is amazing — she will love your pups until you come back to love on them! She is a great communicator, caring and kind and she is easy-going. Our two dogs are not easy to take care of and Brittani did so with ease and so much patience. I’m grateful to have met her and will most definitely reach out in the future!”

“Melinda took excellent care of our pets and home. She was communicative, dependable, and very accommodating when our plans unexpectedly changed. She even gave our cat, Tiger, her inhaler without any issues—something we were a bit nervous about, but she handled it with ease. We felt completely confident leaving everything in her hands. We'd absolutely work with her again.”

“Jeff is great! Very easy going in all things, except when it comes to the well being of your pet. His attention to detail there is above and beyond! Took care of my pup like a member of the family, would trust him any day to provide the best for her. Will absolutely book again.”

“Claire took great care of our two new little kittens when we spent a weekend away. We really appreciated her help all weekend, and knew after meeting her that the kitties were going to be in good hands. We would love to have Claire and her kiddo help out again in the future when the need arises!”

“Brianna was great with my puppers. From the beginning it was clear she’s a genuine animal lover which put me at ease for our trip. She gave detailed updates and it helped me feel reassured that my girls were in great hands!”

“Brigit was awesome. She was super professional, very communicative, sent regular updates, and took great care of our beagle and our house. We would absolutely have her watch Max again. Thanks, Brigit!”

“Aislynn was so wonderful. This is our second setter through Rover and have had nothing but great experiences. It was great knowing Millie and Oliver was in safe hands during our day. I would for sure rebook with her again.”

“Angela went above and beyond to take phenomenal care of my very nervous senior dog. She also did an incredible job, keeping the house tidy and provided very cute photos and updates. I had many special instructions and she followed them perfectly.I am so grateful for her help and would definitely book with her again.”

“This is my first time using Rover and we were looking for an overnight sitter for mainly my little Genee girl who has never not had family around her. Anika filled that gap for us and did an amazing job. She put up with all my messages and provided pictures of Genee on walks and playing. She even included pics of the cat lounging around as usual. I was worried about leaving Genee for the first time but Anika made it much easier for me! I would highly recommend her and I will be calling upon her again when we need a sitter!”

“Kat took care of our pups through a suppressive heat wave and fireworks and handled both like a champ. Went above an beyond even made sure everybody was cool! She’s super communicative and always let us know how they were doing. We so appreciate her!”

“Scott provided excellent care for our two dogs, two chickens, and our home. He provided clear and timely communication. We felt like we left everything in goods hand when we were away. Thank you Scott!”

“Alice did an amazing job house sitting and carrying for our 4 pets and plants for 3 weeks. She followed all the instructions and left the house clean and tidy. Great communicator - she's a wonderful caretaker. Highly recommended!”

“Kristen was a thorough and prompt communicator and awesome with our critters! Our anxious dog and cat warmed up to her quickly and she was able to navigate a troublesome toilet issue while we were gone. She is great and we appreciated her house sitting!”

“Chardonay was fantastic and our dog Harley absolutely loved them! We already set up another sit, so we highly recommend working with her. Harley has some specifically reactivity needs, and we felt at ease with Chardonay watching her. She kept us updated and sent lots of dog pics throughout the sit too.”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I’ve had family dogs growing up and had a dog of my own in my early twenties, so caring for them has always been a part of my life. Around 2020, friends and coworkers started asking me to house sit while they traveled, and that’s when I realized how much I genuinely enjoy caring for other people’s homes and especially thier pets. Since then, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities... from tiny Chihuahuas and miniature Poodles to Huskies, Pit Bulls, and Dobermans. I’ve also spent some time with cats, hamsters, bunnies, and lizards. Unfortunately I have retired for caring for cats due to allergies. I know that every dog is different. Some want to play nonstop, some love long walks, and others just want someone cuddles. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. I’ve even helped reinforce basic training, taught a few fun tricks, and worked on some very simple behavioral habits when owners have appreciated. I believe consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement go a long way. When your dog is with me, they’ll be treated like my own. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your best friend is getting plenty of attention, exercise, affection, care until you’re back home. I’m currently a surgical technology student, and my classes are scheduled in the mornings, which means I’m available most afternoons and evenings for walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and quality time with your pets. Trusting someone with your animal is a huge deal. I am big on personal integrity and respect. I know every pet is different, so I like to stick as closely as possible to the routine they’re already used to. Whether that means long walks, playtime in the yard, keeping up with feeding schedules, or just hanging out on the couch together, I’m happy to do whatever helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. Safety is always my biggest priority. I’m especially careful on walks, pay attention to each dog’s personality and body language. This means, my phone is away… unless I sneak a really cute picture of your pup. I also know how important it is to trust the person staying in your home, so I’ll treat your space with respect and leave it just the way I found it. I’ll also send plenty of updates and photos because I know I’d want the same if someone was watching my dog. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away worry free.

About: I've been surrounded by animals from before I was born. I grew up on a farm on Kauai, Hawaii. I worked as a veterinary assistant for nearly 10 years, volunteered with Guide Dogs for the Blind as a foster home, and I am always helping my friends and family with pet sitting and minor grooming(nail trims and baths). I'm starting this as a part-time job because it fits my schedule. I'm usually available for dog walking Monday through Friday, between the hours of 7:30am and 3:30pm. I am currently petless. Our beloved kitty(15 years old) passed last year and our family is not ready for another pet at the moment. I am happy to come to your house to take your dog for a walk in a neighborhood they are comfortable with, I often walk at Powell Butte, around my own neighborhood, and Salish ponds in Gresham. I'm happy to discuss other walks with you and anything else you'd like to know.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Centennial
Eden was amazing, patient and kind. My new dog, Willow, needed someone calm and chill and she warmed up to Eden more so than to others. I really appreciate Eden’s understanding of dogs, her flexibility in me changing my dates and her taking care of my house, dogs and garden! Thank you, Eden!

We were so Grateful for Ailsynn. She was extremely careful with our two teacup yorkies while we were on vacation. Aislynn did a fabulous job watching our home and taking care of our sweet little pups and our two cats. We Will always be reaching out for her from now on ! She sent me updates every day and pictures of our sweethearts. Peace of mind is so important to having a nice relaxing vacation. Thankyou again for that making this time away an easy transition ! ❤️ Joe & Lesa

Karen was amazing with our three dogs and cat. She sent frequent updates and let us know how everything was going. Our pets were very comfortable with her and we were able to relax being away from them knowing they were in good hands. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Melinda did an excellent job house sitting for my fur baby! This was her first time house sitting with us and our dog was still somewhat getting to know her. Our dog has some challenges with anxiety at times, but based on reports and pictures, and even a funny video of my dog rolling around all over the living room floor, she seemed really comfortable with Melida regardless! Melinda was great about sending daily pics and updates and reaching out if she had any questions. Oh yeah, she even voluntarily on her own initiation watered some of our outdoor plants on a day that was going to be extra hot! I would definitely hire Melinda again in the future should the opportunity arise.

Heather was great! She spent a weekend with my cat and my adult daughter’s new puppy. She was SO good with the puppy, went above and beyond in doing training with him, and suggesting specific care items to us. Our cat immediately felt comfortable with her, and slept on her pillow both nights. It was a great experience!

Samantha was great! She watched our two cats and our dog (and they loved her immediately). We had some last minute additions to some pet medications right before our trip and Samantha was very good about noting down the requirements and successfully administering said meds to our old cat. We received daily updates and photos that provided some relief to us as this was our first time using rover. We highly recommend Samantha!

I can't say enough nice things about Katie! She was so kind to my pups, she left the house super clean even though I told her she didn't have to, and she left us flowers and treats!! She even found a spot where my naughty husky was digging under the fence and blocked the hole. Above and beyond. I really don't think my pups missed us. I think they want Katie back!!
