Anthony H.

“I needed someone to drop in and care for my dog while I visited family across the county. I found Anthony on Rover and reached out to him. Anthony was prompt and professional with all communication. He came to my home for a meet and greet & instructions prior to my trip. Dogs have amazing judgement and for my pup Sebastian, it was love at first sight! Anthony is a big guy but his personality is warm, friendly, & honest. I felt very safe letting him into my home to care for my dog. My trip was much less stressful knowing my dog was in good hands while I was away. I loved getting updates and pictures through the Rover app and when I needed to change something it was very easy & Anthony's schedule is flexible. When I returned it was around the same time Anthony would have dropped by and I swear there was a brief look of disappointment on my dogs face when he saw it was me not Anthony. That's how I know he had a good time! Definitely a 5 star experience all around. I will be calling on Anthony again the next time I am in need.”

Monica K.

“Monica was very responsive and communicative, and was able to accommodate our needed dates on short notice. She did a great job, was always on-time, kept us informed of how our dog was doing on her visits, and went over-and-above to make sure he was well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend Monica as a great option to care for your pets!”

Michelle G.

“Michelle is wonderful. She was attentive to my kitty while we were gone and also helped with a few light watering chores for my garden. I will definitely have her back.”

Kathy V.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was about 8 years old, but as I have gotten older I have behavior and training experience; as well as, working in the veterinary medicine field. I'm currently working part time at a animal clinic and would love to spend my free time with pets either with potty breaks or going for a short walk to release some energy. Your four legged companion would be able to roam freely around the home, unless better crated per owner discretion. I have a friendly dog that is crated usually if we have a visitor over that is not as socialized; however, would be a great companion on walks and playmate otherwise. There is a dog play area that is fully gated. As well as a couple walking paths to release energy.

I will absolutely be delighted to have Helen pet sit for us again. Plus I engaged her at the last minute so it was really great to have her. Thanks Helen!”

“Emily was fantastic with our kitties. I never worried about them while we were gone. We received pictures every day. Emily's love for animals and her talent with them really shines through. Thanks, Emily!”

Annalei L.

“Annalei was great with both of my dogs on multiple visits! She was very communicative and always sent me updates. Annalei was always open to adding additional visits when needed. Overall great experience!”

Frances R.

“Frances was AMAZING!!! It was very clear from our meet and greet that she cares not only for respecting your pets but also respecting your home. She was prepared and asked great questions that only a fellow cat parent would ask so we left for our trip knowing our boys were in great and competent care. Frances is very communicative, flexible, and caring. We even have a cat who is usually terrified of strangers but Frances won him over on day 1! It’s very clear she has a special way with kitties and we are so happy to have found her! We will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I'm an experienced foster dog parent, with two fur children of my own. Fostering dogs for over 10 years gives me a unique experience to connecting with dogs in that I am often helping a dog feel grounded, confident, and secure after coming from a scary and sometimes traumatic environments. I've fostered over 35 dogs, and in the past two years have focused specifically on puppies and shy/fearful dogs. I have experience with all kinds of breeds and sizes. I absolutely love chihuahuas and bully breeds! A friend to fearful & Shy dogs: I have a calm and sensitive energy about myself that fearful/shy dogs appreciate and have a lot of experience with reading their body language to meet them where they're at. I think it's the introvert in myself, but I match their energy and can connect with them. I often work with building trust and teaching them consent for pets, and love working with dogs that need help building trust. Puppies: I have raised dozens of puppies from as early as 6 weeks, and am a PRO at teaching house training to puppies. I'm very enthusiastic about it and know exactly when a pup needs to go potty! I teach all of my foster puppies basic commands, and crate training and am experienced in how to build confidence in them as they learn to socialize with the world and new environments. If you are looking for puppy training support I would love to help. Fear / Reactivity: I also am very familiar with leash reactive dogs and enjoy working with them. I am a positive dog handler and very familiar and comfortable with counter conditioning and desensitization through my foster work and navigating my own dog's needs. I currently work part-time from home from Monday to Thursday from 9-2pm with either Tuesday or Wednesday off depending on my job's needs. With my own dogs, throughout the day I put together some enrichment activities like a lickimat, snuffle mat, or we do short training sessions. They get as many potty breaks as they need. I am a dog parent advocate for treating dogs as individuals who deserve kindness, understanding, and opportunities to live full lives that go beyond just "getting their energy out". Caring for a dog to me is about giving them experience and love that makes them engage with their world with joy. I spend a lot of time cuddling with my own pups, and giving them attention. I like to make sure they are happy!

About: I have experience walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with family members' and friends' dogs between ages 1 and 5 years old. I also have a kitty that's 1 year old, and I am willing to and looking forward to expanding my experience! I'm currently working full time, however I am able to board pets Friday-Sunday, and I can pet sit/walk pets between 5PM-9:30PM Monday through Thursday nights. I have a fenced backyard, a friendly dog, and a friendly cat that can keep your pet(s) company. If your babies aren't comfortable with a big dog, I have plenty of space to keep my dog seperate.
