My dogs and I love Anastasia! One of my dogs has been going to Anastasia for months. My other dog is a nervous guy and likes his alone time, so we usually leave him at home. But we decided to take him on a trial run to spend a day with Anastasia, and he made a new best friend!

About: Your furry family member deserves a home-away-from-home where they'll receive endless attention, plenty of outdoor play, and expert care from a seasoned pet parent. With over 15 years of animal care experience, I understand that each dog has unique needs and personalities – from energetic puppies to gentle seniors. I'm particularly attuned to providing specialized care, medication management, and the extra patience and attention that senior pets require, as I cared for my own aging lady for many years. Working from home means your pup will have constant companionship throughout the day, with plenty of belly rubs, playtime, and potty breaks whenever needed. No more rushing home from work or feeling guilty about leaving them alone! My spacious, fully-fenced backyard is a dog's dream playground, perfect for supervised exercise that matches your pet's energy level and abilities – whether that's playful puppy zoomies or gentle senior strolls. Being present 90% of the day allows me to closely monitor your pet's well-being, maintain their routine, and ensure they're happy, comfortable, and getting all the care they need. I'm experienced in administering medications, following special diets, and accommodating mobility issues. Your dog's comfort and safety are my top priorities, and I'll adapt activities and care to their specific needs and limitations. Your peace of mind is my priority – regular updates, photos, and videos will keep you connected with your furry friend throughout their stay. Choose a sitter who treats every dog like family, understands the unique needs of both puppies and seniors, and has the experience, space, and time to make their stay truly special. My daily schedule is structured to provide consistent, attentive care for your pet throughout the day: Early Morning (6:00-8:00 AM): - Wake-up potty break and gentle morning exercise - Breakfast and medication administration if needed - Peaceful morning cuddles while I have coffee and check emails Mid-Morning to Afternoon (8:00 AM-2:00 PM): - I work from my home office, providing constant supervision - Regular potty breaks every 2-3 hours or as needed - Play sessions in the fenced yard between video calls - Quiet rest time with comfy beds near my desk - Lunch break includes another walk or yard time Afternoon to Evening (2:00-6:00 PM): - More active playtime and exercise sessions - Afternoon snacks or medications as scheduled - Social time with my senior dog for friendly pups - Extended outdoor time during nice weather Evening (6:00-10:00 PM): - Dinner time and evening medications - Relaxing evening walks - Cozy indoor time with lots of cuddles - Final potty break before bedtime routine Weekends are even more flexible, allowing for extended play sessions, extra attention, and customized activities based on your dog's energy level and preferences. My schedule can be adjusted to accommodate your pet's established routine, ensuring they maintain the consistency they're used to at home. My pet-proofed home is designed with your dog's safety and comfort as top priorities. The property features: - A fully fenced, secure 1/2 acre backyard with 6-foot privacy fencing and double-gated entry - Pet-friendly, open-concept interior with non-slip flooring (I have rugs I place around the home for aging pets that have a hard time getting around) - Separate spaces available for dogs who need quiet time or personal space - Temperature-controlled environment with plenty of cozy beds and resting spots - All cleaning supplies and medications secured in a high cabinet - Multiple water stations both indoors and in shaded outdoor areas Safety Protocols: - Detailed intake process to understand your dog's specific needs, behaviors, and triggers - Written documentation of all medications, feeding schedules, and emergency contacts - Regular property checks to ensure fencing and gates remain secure - Pet first-aid certified with an emergency kit always on hand - Strong relationship with local emergency vet (less than 10 minutes away) - Security cameras covering both indoor and outdoor areas - All visiting dogs must be fully vaccinated and on flea/tick prevention Trust & Communication: - Regular updates with photos/videos throughout the day - Detailed daily report of activities, meals, medications, and behavior - Immediate notification of any concerns or changes in behavior - Consistent availability via phone, text, or your preferred communication method - Meet-and-greet session required before first stay to ensure compatibility - Happy to follow your detailed care instructions and maintain your dog's routine - References available from long-term clients, including those with senior dogs Senior & Special Needs Care: - Experience administering various medications including pills, and topical treatments - Mobility assistance for dogs with arthritis or physical limitations - Close monitoring of food and water intake, bathroom habits, and energy levels - Gentle exercise adapted to your dog's abilities and energy level - Quiet, stress-free environment perfect for older or anxious dogs - Understanding of common senior dog conditions and their management

Finding the right fit for taking care of my two older chihuahuas was very stressful, until I came across Julie and Barry. Firstly, my huge requirement was that they had no dogs of their own and secondly, that they would only have one client at a time. That is not super easy to find. And not only do they fulfill both of those requirements, but it is two people instead of one, so it's an incredible amount of care and attention that is given to any animal that they might care for. One of my pups has some pretty major anxiety and Julie knew just what to do with her. She turns on her heating pad and cuddles up on the couch with her, and I can tell that they are very loved while there. And though I know my pups don't like being away from me, they very obviously feel safe and comfortable with both Julie and Barry. They also have a wonderful place for the dogs to be when outside. Our pups are going to board with them soon and we feel 100% comfortable with it, and excited that we have found Julie and Barry. Besides taking great care of the pups, they are lovely people and we have enjoyed getting to know them.

Took my 3 year old female GSD to Allen’s for daycare and had a good first time experience. Got to meet the other dogs and see her interact with them. Lots of photos and videos throughout the day, which really helps you feel at ease for a first time drop off. Good to know the dogs are running around getting their exercise. We plan to continue using Allen’s services.

Hanlan has a very peaceful home. She is able to concentrate on the needs of an elderly, blind chihuahua who was very confused by my having left him when he's not been without me for a few years. She took some great photos of him, and I felt very safe and comfortable leaving him in her home.

With the way that Erin cares for and loves our dogs, she is the only person that I trust to be with our doggos. She tells me about their day, sends pictures, and gives them so much love. I think we’ve had the privilege of Erin watching our doggos 3-4 times, and she even grieved with us when we lost our old man last year, and she accepted our goofy puppy who is still learning manners. Erin is the very best person to watch doggos!
