“Gus had a great time and came home happy and ready for snuggle time. He seemed very comfortable as soon as he arrived, and when I picked him up he seemed at ease with Alexandria. I will definitely bring him back.”

“Devin was wonderful and very trust worthy. Made us feel good to know we were leaving our pup in great hands! Her backyard is an ideal space for play time. Our pup seemed very comfortable! Would definitely recommend Devin!”

“Bridgitte is always great with our little rescue dog. We always get pictures of them out taking walks, and she takes our dog out to public places like restaurants which is good for her socialization. Bridgitte is super friendly and personable, and couldn't be easier to work with.”
“With roofers banging on the house, Juno and Polly needed a quiet and fun place to stay during the working hours. They could not have been better cared for. More workers coming over the next two weeks. We’ll reserve our spaces today. Thank you.”

“Julie and Barry took care of Iris for the day for me. She had a great day! When I came to pick her up, I think she was not even quite ready to come home. She was clearly very comfortable, happy and relaxed. Julie and Barry treated her like she was family. They give all their attention to one dog at a time, which I really appreciate. I recommend Julie and Barry very highly. I'm so grateful to have found them.”

“Margaret was an excellent sitter - extremely diligent and flexible. She sent me photos of Lana playing with the other pups and kept me informed the whole stay. Would definitely recommend Margaret!”
“Our puppy had the best day with Kristopher. He was sensitive to our puppy’s needs, and eased her into meeting his crew when she was nervous on arrival. She seems to have had the best day, and we are so appreciative of his expertise with puppies.”

“We are really pleased with our dog’s first stay with Peter and Missy! We appreciated being able to meet them and their sweet dog, Gunner, prior to booking with them. Peter and Missy seem very caring, conscientious and knowledgeable about dog care. After our dog’s visit, we were pleasantly surprised to receive information about our dog’s activities (e.g. map showing where he went on a walk, at what time and distance) and loved the photos! We appreciated them taking such great care of our dog!”

“Badru had a ton of fun romping around with their dog. I appreciated the videos and pictures along the way. Thanks for making it easy to be away from this big baby!!”

“Great first-time experience. So appreciate Anastasia's calm and warm manner with my pup. It was great to know that she was in good hands while I was at work, staying cool and getting some social playtime too! Thank you!”

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and cater to their every need. I’m well-versed in giving medication and providing extra accommodations as needed. Each dog is unique and has its own schedule. I want your dog(s) to feel as comfortable as possible in my home. I currently have a Chinese crested fur baby who gets along with all humans and other dogs. I work from home and have a fenced back yard. I’m available to let your fur baby out as frequently as every 2 hours and take on multiple walks throughout the day. I treat all dogs as if they are my own fur babies and make sure they are happy and comfortable in every way possible. I allow pets on my couch and bed but can tailor my rules to your preference.
About: Animals have always been part of my life — from horses to fish, and most importantly, dogs. For the past 2+ years I’ve been a foster with the Portland Dachshund Rescue, caring for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with medical needs. Through local dachshund meetups and rescue work, I’ve become known as a trusted safe space for small dogs in the Portland community. What sets me apart is the blend of heart and hands-on skills: • Experience with senior dogs, medical care, and even injections when needed. • Specialized understanding of dachshunds and other small breeds. • A home set up with secure fencing and stairs for tiny dogs’ safety. • The flexibility of working from home most days, with the option to bring pups to the office on others. I treat every guest like my own — with patience, love, and individualized care. Most days I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I go into the office, but I can often bring a guest dog with me if needed, so they won’t be left alone. Because I only host up to two small dogs at a time (20 lbs and under), I can keep routines flexible — from regular potty breaks and short walks to cuddle breaks on the couch. My schedule is designed to give your pup a safe, consistent rhythm while you’re away. Whether your pup is staying at my townhome or I’m caring for them in yours, safety is always the top priority. My home is rescue-approved with secure fencing, pet stairs, and even an outdoor ramp in progress for tiny legs. Guests are always supervised, indoors and out. If I’m in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys, and I’m happy to follow any security routines or send photos so you feel comfortable. My goal is simple: peace of mind for you, and a safe, happy experience for your pet.

About: I’ve had a mixture of dogs and cats my entire life, but around 12 was when I started being left responsible for them while being home alone. I’ve cared for several different breeds of dogs, big and small, but all of my cat experience is with average sized shorthairs. I can do petcare almost whenever needed. The earliest I can get to a client’s house is 10 AM, and the latest I can stay (unless i’m staying for overnight care), is 8 PM. I’m familiar with high energy dogs that need lots of yard time, and also low energy dogs that prefer to stay inside. I know how to take care of high-reactive dogs and have no issues feeding/crating them while making sure they’re happy.

About: I’ve managed a foster program that cared for abandoned and elderly pets in their moments of hospice. Used to volunteer with service dog training companies in colorado and picked up a thing or two. Officially moved here not to long ago and just hoping to let pet parents feel better knowing their babies are safe and loved, with constant updates. (THEY/THEM PRONOUNS) I am fully available morning, noon, and night, but i have a strict no overnights policy because i am a single parent to a toddler. i’m working on rover full time and a single parent so, i am always available from dog walks to easily providing care for them in their own spaces where they will feel most comfortable. As I am fully available I can provide full time care to ensure their needs will not only be met but exceeded. thank you for your time :)) I maintain a calm and peaceful environment. I go on long hikes and walks for high energy animals, and otherwise enjoy sitting peacefully with lower energy animals. I maintain constant contact with the pet parents and make sure they know everything their baby is up to so they feel safe, and the animals feel comfortable too.
“Hayleigh was great! I absolutely loved that she had other dogs in her home, so my two dogs had a bunch of new friends to play with. When I picked them up, I could tell they had a very fun and playful day. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: Hi, welcome to your dogs favorite part of the day. I can’t wait to be your baby’s next bestie! A bit about me: I’m calm with anxious pets, comfortable with nervous or shy animals, and can help them settle. I offer walks and drop ins full of care, attention, and love! Pets are family: prioritizing routines, comfort, and 1:1 time — not just a quick walk or check in. I live to send updates through the Card so you can see how happy and loved your baby is! Communication is key for us all & I do my best to be clear & clarify anything when needed. I have experience with lots of animals — chickens, horses, reptiles, multi-pet households — I know how to manage different needs. Im here for walk+play, drop-in visits, overnight stays—all tailored to your pet’s energy level! I work from home and absolutely LOVE getting to take your dog on a walk with me. Sniff walks, little jogs, exploring the neighborhood, tug of war… you name it. I have a giant fenced back yard that can be used for overnight or day long visitors :) I own a family home that’s experienced with animals and kids with varying needs. I have experience caring for multiple living beings, so owners can expect patient, practiced care, predictable routine, and a walker or sitter comfortable with multi-pet households and kids in the house.
Centennial dog parents share their Rover experiences
Hanlan has a very peaceful home. She is able to concentrate on the needs of an elderly, blind chihuahua who was very confused by my having left him when he's not been without me for a few years. She took some great photos of him, and I felt very safe and comfortable leaving him in her home.

Anastasia is amazing. We have never done doggy daycare with our pups so I didn’t know what to expect. Our pup Jake comes home happy and exhausted! Also - she sends photos and videos throughout the day. It makes me so happy to see him thriving. I cannot say enough amazing things about our experience with Anastasia

With the way that Erin cares for and loves our dogs, she is the only person that I trust to be with our doggos. She tells me about their day, sends pictures, and gives them so much love. I think we’ve had the privilege of Erin watching our doggos 3-4 times, and she even grieved with us when we lost our old man last year, and she accepted our goofy puppy who is still learning manners. Erin is the very best person to watch doggos!
