At Camp Oz, we’ve thoughtfully designed our home to be the ultimate dog-friendly environment, where comfort and safety are top priorities. Our house is equipped with plenty of dog beds, blankets, and cozy spaces for your pup to relax. Sleep Time at Camp Oz At night, all of the pups will join us in the bedroom, where they can choose from a variety of dog beds to settle into. We call it the “dog pile”! It’s a relaxed, cozy space where your dog can feel safe and secure. If your pup is more accustomed to their at-home kennel routine, we respect that and will provide a kennel for them to sleep in within the house. Our Backyard – A Dog’s Dream Playland Our backyard, spanning .26 acres, is a paradise for pups! With two large sequoia trees, the yard offers natural shade in the summer and acts as a great umbrella during the rainy season, keeping the dogs comfortable year-round. During the warmer months, we also provide a sprinkler water park, offering a fun and refreshing way for dogs to cool off while playing. Camp-Oz Updates We believe in keeping you updated on your dog’s stay at Camp Oz, so you can enjoy peace of mind while they’re with us. Here’s how our update system works: New Clients: You’ll receive an update a couple of hours after drop-off, letting you know how your dog is settling into the group and adjusting to the environment. Daily Updates: All clients will receive an update by the end of every day that includes the report of their eating, potty, play and any special moments of their day. No News is Good News: If all is going smoothly, no news means everything is great! If there’s any concern or issue, we will reach out to you right away to address it as it happens.

A typical day
At Camp Oz, we provide a structured yet flexible day for all dogs in our care. Daycare dogs typically arrive early, starting their day with potty breaks and squirrel watch in our spacious yard or attending to their next nap. After breakfast, we rotate through outdoor play, rest periods, and mental stimulation activities. Throughout the day, all dogs receive constant supervision, ensuring safety and comfort. Evening routines include dinner, more play, and final potty breaks, before all dogs settle in for the night, either joining us in the bedroom for a cozy “dog pile” or resting in their own space if requested. We provide lots of love, attention, and care to make every dog feel right at home.

Camp Oz!🏕️ Safe, Fun, and Active
Pet care experience
Partnered with Emma S. on Rover at Camp Oz.♥️ At Camp Oz, your dog is more than just a guest – they’re part of the pack! Our home and spacious yard provides the perfect environment for dogs of all ages, including senior dogs who enjoy socializing. Just like a summer camp for kids, we offer a safe, fun, and active atmosphere where dogs can roam freely, make new furry friends, and enjoy their days to the fullest. We always have one person home to supervise the camp, ensuring that every dog stays safe and happy throughout their stay. Our home is a welcoming environment for dogs who get along well with others. I went to an academy for animal science where I learned animal handling and grooming services. Afterwards, I attended Iowa State university for some college in Animal Science at Iowa State University. 🐶🩺♥️. Prior to Camp Oz, I worked at two pet resort facilities where I completed tasks as a kennel attendant and supervisor.
Reviews

Makenzie took such great care of Mandy! She treated Mandy's hot spot on her tail and noticed and treated Mandy's ear infection. Mandy always has such a great time playing and ramping around with the other dogs.

Makenzie and Emma were amazing with PJ! The meet and great was easy to schedule, we were able to do a day of daycare before boarding, and boarding itself went so smooth with communication as needed and lots of photos! Our pup had a bit of a hot spot pop up for him and Makenzie and Emma even made sure it was taken care of with some skin soother and a cone! Absolutely wonderful care. PJ came back happy and all played out :) thank you! PJ will be happy to come back to Camp Oz again!

Makenzie and Emma are so thoughtful and communicative which we really appreciated with it being PJ's first day at day care with them! He came home played out and happy! Thank you!

Oliver loves coming here. It warms my heart how excited he is to see Makenzie and Emma when we pull up. It’s the perfect place to make new puppy friends and romp around their great backyard. I can rest easy knowing he’s well taken care of while I’m away ❤️
