“Great first-time experience. So appreciate Anastasia's calm and warm manner with my pup. It was great to know that she was in good hands while I was at work, staying cool and getting some social playtime too! Thank you!”

About: Animals have always been part of my life — from horses to fish, and most importantly, dogs. For the past 2+ years I’ve been a foster with the Portland Dachshund Rescue, caring for everything from energetic puppies to seniors with medical needs. Through local dachshund meetups and rescue work, I’ve become known as a trusted safe space for small dogs in the Portland community. What sets me apart is the blend of heart and hands-on skills: • Experience with senior dogs, medical care, and even injections when needed. • Specialized understanding of dachshunds and other small breeds. • A home set up with secure fencing and stairs for tiny dogs’ safety. • The flexibility of working from home most days, with the option to bring pups to the office on others. I treat every guest like my own — with patience, love, and individualized care. Most days I work from home, so your pup will get plenty of company and attention throughout the day. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays I go into the office, but I can often bring a guest dog with me if needed, so they won’t be left alone. Because I only host up to two small dogs at a time (20 lbs and under), I can keep routines flexible — from regular potty breaks and short walks to cuddle breaks on the couch. My schedule is designed to give your pup a safe, consistent rhythm while you’re away. Whether your pup is staying at my townhome or I’m caring for them in yours, safety is always the top priority. My home is rescue-approved with secure fencing, pet stairs, and even an outdoor ramp in progress for tiny legs. Guests are always supervised, indoors and out. If I’m in your home, I treat your space with the same respect I’d want for my own. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys, and I’m happy to follow any security routines or send photos so you feel comfortable. My goal is simple: peace of mind for you, and a safe, happy experience for your pet.

“Probably my favorite sitters ever. They were all so attentive Ghost and his behaviors and even while he developed a light allergy in his ears while I was still away, they offered to help clean them until I got back. Each day I felt safe and secure knowing he was going to be well taken care of along with getting all the snuggles and play time.”

“As always Mark took excellent care of my dog Tucker. Tucker now recognizes the route to Mark's house and gets excited as soon as he realizes where we are headed. Just overall a lovely experience for my dog and myself.”

“Seth was super responsive, communicative and professional. While we struggled to find a Rover receptive to caring for our dog that doesn't play well with others, they quickly read the description for our dog and without preempting, let us know the accomodations they would take to ensure our dog had a stress free stay. They obviously knew how to take care of dogs well, including rather particular pups like mine. We were so grateful for Seth and felt very comfortable leaving our dog in his care. Next time we are in the area and need pet care, we will definitely go to them again!!”

“Adnan really came thru for us. He was quick to respond to our last minute request for daycare on a Saturday. As soon as I met Adnan I felt comfortable leaving our girl in his care. We got some great picture updates and couldn’t be happier.”

“From the beginning, very responsive and helpful! They were able to handle my high anxiety dog and didn’t get annoyed by the overly long explanation I had about his dogality. Followed up with pictures and updates and my dogs had a blast! Highly recommend Cass and Trevor for dog sitting.”

“Gary and Carol agreed to watch Spettro my blind IG when my regular sitter was out of town! They both were very welcoming, warm, kind, and flexible. They provided a safe home and comforting snuggles throughout the day! Spettro came home happy and tuckered out each day! Spettro will definitely want to go back and visit! Thanks again Gary and Carol!!!!!”

“Angela seems very professional and trust worthy. Argos has enjoyed his time with her and we will be using her again. Thanks for helping to care for the favorite mammal in the household!”
“I can’t recommend Kyle enough for dog boarding! It’s clear he’s enthusiastic about dogs. He sent photo updates throughout and gave great feedback about our dog during her stay. Would definitely board our dog with Kyle again!”

“Shasta and her family are very loving and caring, we truly trust her completely. Our dog Gus gets so excited about having a stay it make leaving him a boy easier knowing he just runs right into the house out of excitement!”

“Hayleigh was great! I absolutely loved that she had other dogs in her home, so my two dogs had a bunch of new friends to play with. When I picked them up, I could tell they had a very fun and playful day. Will definitely be booking again!”

“Margaret provides top- notch care for my pup! I bring my puppy to her for daycare while I'm at work, and I am so grateful to have chosen such a great place for her. Margaret is knowledgeable about dogs and provides focused care. Sloane is always very excited when we arrive, and spends the whole day playing with other dogs... she's also made best friends with Margaret's cat! It's truly been a great experience. This daycare with Emma has been such a god send to me. I have a 15 lb hairless chinese crested dog who was so lonely after losing his best friend (my forever dog). My dog loves big dogs and he’s found this little tribe of friends at this daycare. I love that they encourage the dogs to work as a “pack” as it really provides structure to the day vs other day cares i looked at where it was doggy lord of the flies. I really appreciate the flexibility with bookings, communication is always top notch - and the peace of mind knowing while i’m grinding away at work or whatever adult thing - i know my dog is being cared for, bonding with his pals, and being loved on. I also appreciate that at Emma’s daycare all dogs play together - when i looked at other options my smaller dog would have been grouped with other small dogs but he truly wants to run with the big dogs- and due to Emma’s daycare he does that here and it’s awesome. This daycare really has been such a blessing to me and my dog and helped us move forward after a major loss of the older dog.
