After being a stay-at-home mom for four years, I’m now fully back in the dog care business full time. Pet care is a central part of my daily and weekly routine, and I’ve intentionally structured my schedule around providing consistent, attentive care to the dogs I work with.

We have a very friendly chocolate lab (Leroi) and an indoor/outdoor cat (Banana) who is very accustomed to other dogs coming in and out of her space. Our large fully enclosed back yard makes frequent potty breaks easily accessible.

As long as your dog gets along with little kids, we would love to host them. Our kids are very accustomed to animals and are gentle and loving with them.
A typical day
Our morning routine always includes a walk to the local park for a running/ball session. We also love to frequent 1000 acres where we can really get out and stretch our legs for a longer hike. If your dog loves to swim that’s an added bonus for them!

I trained at Triple Crown Academy in Hutto, Texas, where I earned a diploma in Canine Training and Animal Behavior. After gaining two years of experience with a well-established company, I launched my own dog-walking business in San Francisco in 2006 and ran it successfully for 14 years. With this expertise, I provide safe, enriching walks and personalized in-home boarding, ensuring each dog receives the highest level of care. After taking a short break to start my family, I’ve relocated to Portland and am excited to bring my passion and skills back to the community. The most important thing is how my fur baby is treated. Ariane is kind to my 1 y.o. energetic boxer. She was able to manage him, keep him safe, and brought him home happy and worn out. Obi likes her and trusts Ariane in his space and during the walk. As for the person-to-person interaction. Ariane is responsive, asks good questions to understand the dog parent's needs, and follows through. I'd recommend Ariane for your dog care needs. She's professional and easy to work with. She's on the top of my list to care for Obi in the future.
We had such a great experience with Ariane! She’s incredibly knowledgeable about dogs and you can tell she truly cares about what she does. She took the time to listen to all of my requests and followed through on everything with professionalism and attention to detail. On top of that, she’s easy to communicate with. I’m grateful to have found her and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a great dog walker.

Cole had so much fun at Ariane’s! Lots of pictures of him playing and cuddling throughout the day while I was in town for work. We will definitely see her again next time I’m in town.
